• eat citrus fruits or drink fruit water as an alternative to mints. Fruit, especially sour fruit, promotes salivation, which helps to fight off bacteria in your mouth that causes bad breath. adding some strawberry, lemon, and kiwi slices to a bottle of water is a great way to keep your breath sweet.
• Next time you make guacamole, save the pit of the avocado, dry it, and keep it in your purse or on your person. Avocado pits are deeply symbolic of sex, lust, love, and beauty, and can help to attract romance. This symbolism dates back to the ancient aztecs, who named the avocado, “ahacatl,” or “green testicle.”
• Dilute a few drops of pomegranate and rose oil in a teaspoon of coconut oil, and massage this into your neck, chest, and behind your ears as a perfume. The scent is light, seductive, and easy on your partner’s taste buds when they go in to leave a few hickies. Plus, the coconut oil will leave your skin silky smooth and soft.
• Make some DIY jewelry out of wire and river pearl beads. Strings of river pearls can be found at most craft stores; they’re quite cheap, but just as natural and magical as expensive round pearls. Pearls are associated with beauty and sensuality, as well as corresponding to the moon and Venus. They carry a soft energy that promotes both romantic and sexual activity. Red jasper, rose quartz, and rhodochrosite are also good.
• Rosewater. I know so many witches AND non-witches rave over rosewater, but the hype is for good reason. Using rosewater as an astringent facial mist is a refreshing and sensual finishing touch to your date night beauty routine. Rose energy enhances your beauty, and the barely noticeable scent will entice your partner to come a little closer.
• strawberries are a natural aphrodisiac. A stick or container of strawberry lip balm can easily be enchanted to make your lips look naturally ravishing with some rose quartz, red jasper, and a pink candle. Bonus points if it’s pink or red tinted.
• Body glitter!! I know this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but as someone who doesn’t often wear makeup, I like to find new and exciting ways to glamourize my look without it. Moisturizing body bars and sprays can be found at stores like lush, (the shimmy shimmy bar is my fave,) or online. You can also make your own with some coconut oil, beeswax, essential and fragrance oils, and skin safe seaweed based glitter. I use body glitter as an extra kick to beauty glamours, and a physical reminder of how magically delicious I look.
That’s all I have for now, but if you have any of your own tips please feel free to add on! Much love and good luck to you all 💕

This soup, is actually pretty tasty, so don’t be scared off by the title. Apple and cheese are really good together. And this recipe, from my kitchen to yours, is infused in magick!
Olive Oil
1 cup apple cider ~ love, comfort, divine energy, healing, folk lore cure all
2 tbsp brown sugar ~ Love, comfort
1 large granny smith apple ~ revitalize, love, healing
1 large onion, diced ~ warding, protection
1 1/3 cup freshly shredded cheddar
Sprig of thyme ~ symbol of Venus, beauty, courage, fairy communications, protection, psychic abilities
Ground garden sage (Note- Do NOT use white sage as it is sacred to the indigenous and should be saved for native practices) ~ clarity, protection, grounding, cleansing, wisdom, nightmare relief
Salt and pepper ~ Warding, cleansing, protection
½ cup gouda cheese
4 oz bree cheese
¾ cup half and half
3 cups broth of choice
Flour to thicken it
8 oz beer (Optional)
To prep: Cook your apple slices till soft, then purée them with a stick blender. Add a big pot to the stove, add oil to heat up on medium heat.
Cooking the soup: Add diced onions, pureed apple, and cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add in broth, apple cider, seasonings, and beer (optional) into the pot and stir. You’ll want to bring this to a boil, and then turn down to simmer for an additional 12 minutes.
Stir in your half and half and flour to thicken, along with your brown sugar. Cook this enough for the alcohol to boil off if serving people under 21 years of age or if you don’t want alcoholic soup at that matter. Cook for another 15 minutes stirring on a low medium heat.
Now stir in the cheese until it has melted in nicely in the soup, remember you can always add more things to you’ll liking.
Authors Notes: Beer can be substituted for more broth, stir clock-wise for a more effective outcome. You can also substitute beer for one of you other potions, or edible elixirs. Pecans pair well with this, along with walnuts. You add bacon, or even dip apple slices into the soup.
Blessed be~
Angel….
Happy Winter Solstice! I’m excited to celebrate the longest night of the year and hope we can reflect on ourselves together. I’ve created a spell that enchants us with winter wonders and helps us calm down so we are able to look inside ourselves. I like to drink this tea before I go to bed. I hope you have a wonderful night!
Ingredients
1 cup or mug of water
1 candy cane
half a tbsp of chamomile
half tsp on vanilla
Directions
heat up the water until at your preferred temperature
stir in the vanilla counterclockwise and place the chamomile in to steep
let it sit for about four minutes and strain out
mix again with the candy cane, but this time stir clockwise and chant
“A tired sky closes its eyes to dream,
creating a wondrous dance with the stars.
Time is remembered through its color and gleam,
but when the sky opens and light begins again so do we.”
Make sure you imagine a blue color swirling around you like snow in the breeze. A white snow with a tint of blue and although it feels cold on your skin, it creates a warmth underneath.
Then let your mind wonder in the past memories that swim around your mind. Take in the good and the bad and come to a peace and reflection stance. Slowly blance your mind and body. And take your first sip.
I hope you all have a happy holiday!
- Kenzie!
Freya! Ever since I listened to Neil Gaiman's 'Norse Mythology' I've been wanting to draw her really badly- I particularly loved the Freya design created by @irenhorrors on Instagram. Freya is the Norse goddess of love, beauty, fertility, war, and death. She's a total badass who never puts up with Loki's shenanigans even when he's convinced everyone else.
"Call on Freya when you need the push to be bold and embark on an adventure to pursue your heart's desire. - Ann Shen, 'Legendary Ladies'

💛🕯☀️🌿
I hope it’s ok to ask, if not feel free to just delete, lol, but I was wondering how do you motivate yourself to do things with your craft? I’ve just lately felt comfortable calling myself a witch, but right now it seems like it’s in name only. It’s like I want to do things, but I’m just so tired after work I just sit and watch netflix. :/ Right now isn’t the best time, everyone who can work is over worked, but if you have any tips I’d appreciate it. Thank you for your time! :)
Keep in mind we live exceptional dire times, and cut yourself some slack. I don’t know what it is you are doing, but if you are one of these workers who are forced to be, as they call it, on the front line - whether you are a doctor, a postman, a driver, a cashier, a nurse... - then your mundane life sure must be hectic right now. That being said, if you are a proficient magical practionner as you claim to be, then I suppose you already know separating the mundane and magical parts of yourself and your life is delusional. They will, and they shall, overlap.
When you wake up in the morning, what offerings do you put out for your spirits - be it house spirits, land spirits, gods and allies ? What prayer and hymn do you whisper, what bond do you acknowledge and strengthen ?
What talisman, what jewelry, what oil or what charm do you carry into your purse, pocket, or about your persona ? What for ?
What blessings, what protections, what blastings and curses do you bestow upon yourself, your loved ones, your enemies, when the night is dark and the moon hiding ?
How do you keep your magical hygiene going, how do you keep your senses sharp ? How do you train your eyes to see beyond, in smoke, cards, dreams, bones or mirrors ?
What do you read in your downtime, what podcast do you listen to in the subway, on your way to and back from work, on your lunch break, and before going to bed ? Do you follow any course ? Do you look for the ciphers in the stars, the glyphs in the ground ? What omens do they portent ?
How often do you take a walk in nature, when is the last time a plant or animal taught you something ? When is the last miracle you performed just for the sake of it, just because it’s fun and exhilarating ?
Are you good with your hands, do you craft or create, do you brew, cook, weave, all in attunement with your practice ?
It is about making the time, not because this is something you should do, but because this is something you are. Magic is not always rituals and fireworks, no, it is about constance, it is about kindling and tending an inner Fire. So make sure those embers don’t die out, amidst the ebbs and flows, growths and recessions of power. There is a fine line between laziness and indulgence that we all must learn to walk, so do not coddle your weaknesses. Respect your tides, for we all wane and waxe, but ride them.
