But why would the Bartlets move to Pelican Town when they already own a lovely farm in Nashua, you ask? I don't know and it doesn't matter. Maybe the MS diagnosis happens years earlier, and Jed never goes into politics (UNTIL COMPELLED TO DESTROY MAYOR LEWIS), and Abby decides to spend a year doing rural medicine. Or, oh, maybe they don't meet at Notre Dame after all, and priest!Jed takes over a backwater parish and meets struggling doctor Abby (SV: religious angst version)

Take it a different direction, and what if Josh takes a post-shooting sabbatical for his physical/mental health? He's determined to stay out of politics, he has this farm in his family, and next thing you know he's screaming at Toby about incompetent corrupt mayoral leadership and the staff descends en masse to see what Josh's gotten himself into. OR MAYBE IT'S DONNA'S HOMETOWN (what, Wisconsin can be on the ocean if I want it to be).

AND THEN MAYOR LEWIS IS PUBLICALLY HUMILIATED AND LEAVES TOWN IN SHAME (extremely important).

Just got my first season 3 part 2 spoiler, and I am devastated.

My optimism has failed me. I really thought I'd be able to make it all the way to September without any spoilers. It was on YouTube though, everyone on Tumblr has been really respectful so far.

Toby talking to his kids will always be one of my favourite scenes. I'm devastated we didn't get more until his arc in season 7.

Had to lie on the floor for a solid 15 minutes after finishing season 4 of West Wing

I've always understood the appeal of a slow burn in fanfiction; you know they're gonna get together. But watching the west wing for the first time not knowing if Josh and Donna were gonna get together? Torture.

I was so confused when Josh and Amy got together. Like what do you mean? Especially right after she asked if there was something going on between them and his only response was, "she's my assistant" Meagre excuse.

Not being able to hear the audience anymore makes me so sad.

What do you mean I didn't get to hear everyone shouting "CUNT" during Malta's performance.
