Don't you think it's really weird that the police never showed up?

I don't see anyone talking about this. There's theorization that the cops will be in chapter 3's dark world because Toriel called them over. But they said they'd be over soon --

-- and yet, they don't arrive, seemingly for hours.

This was what first got me thinking - what if something else is happening in town? What if it's more than just Toriel having her tires slashed?

When the call first starts, she says this:

She was having trouble getting through to the police station. Perhaps they were getting a lot of calls at this time.

After all, in Chapter 4, the police station is closed. (This image is a teaser from the 2022 status update, if you didn't know!)

Perhaps they're busy with something that's going on in the town.

Did Kris do more than slash Toriel's tires when they crawled out the window? Did they go to other places as well? Was it someone else, such as the Knight, that caused all these other phone calls?

What I'm getting at is, I think this situation with the police is very strange and warrants a lot more analysis than it gets.

Oh, and a bonus to this theory:

Some theorize that Asgore is going to be in Chapter 3 because of this line from Susie.

Now, it wouldn't make a lot of sense for Asgore to be there under the circumstances we've previously been imagining Chapter 3 to happen under. Either Asgore just marched over to Toriel's house uninvited in the middle of the night for no reason, the cops decided to leave this case to Asgore, even though he was removed from the force, or some third, more reasonable thing that I can't think of right now happened.

But if there's something strange and perhaps even dangerous going on in this town, of course the first thing on Asgore's mind would be whether his family is safe. And when he sees that the tires are slashed and the door is open, of course he's going to rush in.

I think this would make a lot of sense! :] I now think Asgore will be in Chapter 3.

Oh my god. I reread the comic after the last update, and THE SIGNS WERE THERE THE WHOLE TIME-

He snuck through while everyone was distracted with the fire. (See: Chaos Arc. Reread it, it was a perfect opening.)

Because he's from the other Light World/Undertale universe.

Putting his parents on trial/asking for them as sacrifices as a sort of revenge for making the last of his safe place (his family) crumble

The tally marks that could be counting anything, from resets to attempts at a certain outcome to a way of trying to keep track of something real,

the twisted reflections that stare into your SOUL (or lack thereof) and remind you of your sins,

the fakeout flower creature that is obviously a representation of how he sees himself?? A disgusting, monstrous, empty beast whose only purpose is to lash out and hurt??

OF COURSE HE HAS ONE OF THOSE, HE HATES HIMSELF AND REMINDS HIMSELF OF IT ALL THE TIME

And as the cherry on top, the DETERMINATION ties in. He has enough to take back the SAVE files in the player's absence, of course he has enough to make a Dark Fountain.

For the kitten if shes just skin and bone buy cat formula, theres directions on how to use it online as well as if you need to mix it with any water or pedialite to water it down (altho i think thats just for newborns that they need the mixed solution) and put it into a syringe or an eyedropped, just a few mouthfuls every few hours should help since if you feed her too quickly she'll get sick much like human eating disorders, blankets and wrapping her in anything warm while keeping her close to your body should help the kitty mentally just because they do need to be close to their mom as infants, any indication on age or size? Also- have you named it yet? 0.0 (sry curiosity)

Kitty update #1

Hey y'all! So at first I was worried about what to feed her since she didn't seem much interested in the dog food we had at home, however! I managed to buy some proper kitty food today and she very much enjoyed it, she's still eating only in small portions though

As for her age...i really don't know, she's young enough to not be scared of dogs, and my mom thinks she may have just opened her eyes recently? I can't tell, she is simply very little

She is also! Clingy! Oh my god so clingy, this cat will cry non stop if she is not on my lap or my bed

And we do have a name! Mom called dibs and named her Yennefer (I feel this is a reference I don't get...) or just Yene for short

Buying stuff for her was quite a hit to my wallet today haha- but it's worth every penny, more updates coming soon!
