“Alright.” Lockwood interrupted, trying desperately to ignore how hot his face felt. His insides were on fire- no, strike that, everything was on fire. Lockwood was surprised he hadn’t combusted yet. “What’s your point.”

For a moment, Kipps and George just stared at him in silence. George was making that face- the one he made when Lockwood was being dumb about research. “He’s hopeless,” George declared.

i've been thinking about the swap to handheld camera near the end of I am the one

i love it so much as a cinematic choice. it kinda puts us into a forced 1st person perspective, like as an audience, briefly we are in the kitchen with them, especially with caissie clocking the camera. it just really drives home how out of control she feels in this moment within her lashing out against gabe and dan

and seeing them scurry away from her from this perspective is just so emotive and i think really captures the feeling of lashing out through fear as much as anger when struggling with mental health and pushing away those who are trying trying to help

its crazy to me that they didn't use this type of shot anywhere else in the show (ifrc?) but i guess its exclusivity to this moment solidifies both the power and vulnerability to diana at this moment.

Lockwood’s Duck Tail

Anyone else notice Lockwood has a duck tail for a solid 75% of the show? I was watching with my sister and she pointed it out to me, to which I off-handedly said: “OH yeah, he needs Katniss to come tuck it in-”

and then I realized. His Katniss is dead. There’s no older sister to tuck in his tail, little duck :(
