I'm writing a kid and asura brothers fic with a touch of kishin!vajra, and giving everyone daddy issues as i go bout it. would anyone be willing to beta read it for me?

not to keep talking about starbucks but i really want people to be aware of this. i'm no longer with the company but still have connections within the union and my fiance still works there, she is chronically ill and wears a respirator to work every day. my old store half my coworkers were disabled and masked.

starbucks is planning to ban the use of masks and respirators by employees, unless they recieve written permission from a doctor. this quickly follows their regressive dress code changes that were criticized for antiblackness and transmisogyny, and made unilaterally without bargaining with the union. and then they partially rolled that dress code back because of criticism. so lets give them some more criticism lol

a lot of yall are probably already boycotting anyways (and i support it) but please do me a favor and flood starbucks social medias telling them you support masking, and that you don't want disabled partners to be thrown away like this. it would mean a lot to me as someone who knows SO many disabled and at risk people who work in these stores.

What she says: I hate antis

What she really means: I don’t mind people disliking a ship for their own reason but the anti-shipping movement is driven by hate and bandwagon bullying to police what people are “allowed” to enjoy. They use fundamentally abusive and manipulative tactics on real people in the name of protecting survivors from speculative things in fiction. Antis want to act morally superior over ship wars and claim that to ship something problematic you must be a survivor. By doing this antis force survivors who may be uncomfortable with coming out with their status to out themselves and then hold them to impossible standards. Except when it does come to survivors who ship anti-deemed problematic things we are attacked, harassed, and then pushed under the bus anyway. Antis trivialize terms such as abuse, rape, and pedophilia by using them so often and out of place against a group made up of many survivors and minors– the people they claim to be protecting. They have bullied and suicide baited artists and other content creators they dislike in the name of “policing the bad ships uwu.” All antis are at fault for this, even if an anti claims not to send hate themselves they are still influencing this bad behavior because they are part of this hate group. The entire anti-shipper movement is a toxic cesspool that makes me feel sick.

i hate driving. here are the laws! if you break them there will be consequences! except youre also expected to break the law just a little bit. people will get mad at you if you dont. you dont have right of way but the person who does is waving you forward for some reason. here's the speed limit! it's not the speed limit, the actual speed limit is that plus ~5-10. the light is green but you're in the turning lane. can you go? should you have gone just then? the person behind you is honking at you. there's a weird noise coming from your engine; if you try to do the right thing and get it checked out, will you get scammed? you are driving a 1-2 ton metal machine rocketing at speeds unknown to humankind for most of history. around a million people die in car accidents every year; that's about one person every thirty seconds. if you take that seriously and try to drive safely then people get mad at you.
