i haven't drawn him in years but i enjoy doing style studies of comics so heres some random tips

Now it’s time for HALF-LIFE: OPPOSING FORCE! Had a lot of fun with this one when I made it a while back, kinda feels like yesterday.

I absolutely LOVE using this style. It has an organic ring to it, like it accentuates the handmade nature of the art and I find that pretty neat.

So anywayyyy, that’s my take on HL:OP! I originally wanted something that covered a lot of things the game brings to the Half-Life IP but felt a more focused drawing about a man hunting another person was the right call.

It’s a very intimidating piece, so I guess I was successful at that, haha. Well, hope you guys appreciate it! SEE. YOU. GUYS. NEXT. TIME!

i love when people use slight seemingly typoed versions of words as new words in themselves to evoke completely different feelings. i love yeag i love woag i love ouppy i love fuckign and switching -ing's to -ign's. i use them Often and their usage could not be replaced by the actual words im trying to say

It,s the same cyberdemon as before, however image quality and amount of time spent in photoshop is higher this time. I,m still not happy with image quality. To photograph this 35x28 cm large ink drawings is not the best way to capture all details.
