I love that Inscryption is a game full of secrets, with multiple ARGs, and the last (probably) secret isn't about the plot and all the implications of the evils we learn about in the game and through the other ARGs. It's just about a fucked up little guy who doesn't really matter to anything.

Lonely's trial of being completely isolated was a result of this, and the isolation trial would also serve as a means of preventing Lonely from forming friendships with goobert and the future ruby mage.
