1 REBLOG = 1 RAT becomes TRANSGENDER
There isn't any drama really but some parts of fandom gets really annoying about aph england, like he came into their house an drilled their cows or something. Like dude realise this fictional character is fictional he's done nothing. And not like they insert him in au or story like that but they're annoying randomly. It's not a big deal. Gets irritating though. Hope everyone like the new manga though
Oh you're right, but I've been in this fandom long enough to not care anymore lol I've seen everything-
the new manga is super cute though! so if you manage to block the annoying part of the fandom and stick with the few good ones you'll be fine :]
Wales ADORES hand-me-downs. Sure he’s not the youngest, but he’s the smallest, and he loves to dig through his brothers old things and see what they don’t want so he can put together wacky little outfits for himself. He’s also super resourceful and can basically do all sorts of sowing, knitting, crafting. He takes things apart, reinvents them, sometimes he makes little bits and pieces for his brothers, and his brothers wear them - not only because it’s a little gift from their brother, but because they’re also genuinely pretty, smart or practical. Each of the brothers have a favourite piece or two that Wales has made for them. The reworked blazer for Scotland with the patches on the elbows and a little thistle sown into the breast pocket that match the reading glasses made to match, England’s “ancient sweater vest and jumper” as France calls it, that’s actually the result of 7 different vests and jumpers dismantled and re-invented. Northern Ireland has a little tie collection made by Wales that he treats like pure gold. Wales made Ireland a little pair of shoes literally over 200 years ago and although they don’t get much time to nip across the water to see each other anymore, when the shoes start to go through wear and tear, Ireland would rather offer to pay Wales to fix them than through them out. He could never. The brothers aren’t great with voicing their gratefulness or voicing that they’re sentimental, but their carefulness and attachment to Wales little gifts speak a thousand words.
England and Wales stuck together a lot for a time while growing up and Wales would use magic to help with England’s fears, like showing England a spell to create light when he was scared of the dark, and spells to help distinguish what berries and mushrooms were safe to eat. This was the start of England’s interest in magic. Back then, Wales would also use magic to animate little drawings and paintings left behind by humans to entertain England and he continues to do it to this day. He brings to life paintings in the house, in museums, street art, pictures in books and newspapers, he can even animate old photographs of people, human and personifications alike. It still makes England smile.
Human Au where Alistair works at a bar as a bartender and Sean comes there to perform his music there / or he's a dj at the bar.
Sean often orders whiskey from the bar and Alsistair trying to flirt and finds out if Sean is gay but Sean is such a dumbass he can't seem to get he's getting flirted with.
A3 Ireland & E1 N.Ireland
I hope it looks decent, I've never drawn these two before.

Personally I don’t get anything from the part people are upset over but ‘England is tsundere for America’. I do greatly appreciate the confirmation of that and OF COURSE the statement about how important America is to him is so lovely. And he ‘can’t quite say his true feelings?’ Bless you, England. He acts like an adult on the surface, but only to America. Underneath, he’s very different- it’s as if he feels he has to deal with him like a grownup who suppresses his heart. - is pretty much a word for word description of what a tsundere is. So basically England is tsundere but only for America is what I’ve got. And Hima even says ‘he’s a tsundere’ at the end of the blurb. Most of the time in anime/manga when there’s a couple the creator is always more open about one side’s feelings than the other’s, and APH is no exception (AusHun, Chibitalia/HRE, etc.). And this is just so normal that I don’t quite understand why some people are upset over the fact that Hima isn’t as overt when discussing America’s feelings. America’s concern and the way that England impacts him is made clear in the strips itself, and almost every scene in which we see America being very serious or touched involves England. US and UK are a lot like a Takahashi couple. America isn’t a perfect fit for jerk with a heart of gold, but he fits in ways that matters (he’s also a bit of a tsundere himself). England is of course, a tsundere. Because of that England’s feelings are ALWAYS going to be more evident because that’s just the way the trope works and the way the character types work. The tsundere will generally realize their feelings long before the other, and this will be made apparent.
America’s canon obliviousness really plays into this as it’s very commonly found in relationships like this. It’s one of the things that generally sets a 'tsundere’ character off. The tsundere works up the courage to show their feelings in some way, but the other character doesn’t get what they’re going for. Happens all the time, and it happens with these two.
One difference between them and the typical couple in that trope is that they’re really both equally at fault for the fail. Sometimes the tsundere is less at fault in couples, but there are just as many moments where America is trying with England and doesn’t get the desired response as there is with England trying toward America (which is why I can’t stand the poor England, America is so mean mindset some of fandom has. They’re BOTH like that). The boys suck at communicating, which is also really common in the trope (and often if the characters just sat down and talked for a bit, all would be solved). I do believe that USxUK is set up like a couple. Hetalia has always been a series that plays with tropes a lot (part of its parody aspect), and they are no exception. I think that this new info is great, and I don’t personally agree with the idea that it’s indicative of unrequited love or whatnot. To me it’s almost the opposite. It’s the same kind of statements you see about couples like this all the time. And that actually really makes me happy.
