The excuse “they didn’t teach us this at school” tells me the person has been spoon fed information at school their entire life and have become so accustomed to it, they now feel entitled to it. Everything they should know must served to them otherwise how could they know? Also, education main purpose is to teach people how to reason and obtain and analyze information. If you can’t do that then education was wasted on you.
