“The old magic persists thanks to it’s unfathomable power.”
No, the old magic persists because the new magic can’t run the legacy spells I need to do my job, and keeps trying to install spirits I don’t want or need onto my orb.
Whatever ridiculous shit the US gets up to, the UK always gleefully follows in full fascist lock-step.
Shocking absolutely no-one, women's rights are being eroded in this country too.
Remember, TERFs, you're next on the block every time you vote against trans rights. Why not vote to help us and keep yourselves second in the queue?
Our little has been around pretty consistently our whole lives, and although he never really aged, that doesn't mean he doesn't know a thing or two about our complex and nuanced world. He may be a child but he has some wisdom that can be really insightful, and sometimes things the rest of us wouldn't've thought about. I always try to remember that even though he is a child, doesn't mean he's immature.
I was playing Pokémon with my 9yo nephew and I said something abt how “oh this is a legendary Pokémon I don’t think it has a gender” and he said “well wait isn’t dragon type a gender??” Like you know what dude fuck it sure is
Need someone to be a little feral about me
The calendar is a system where 12 wonderful headmates switch on a somewhat regular schedule.
words of affirmation i repeat on the daily
sorry i was passionate & intense & insane. it will happen again
hi, a lot of you need a perspective reset
the average human lifespan globally is 70+ years
taking the threshold of adulthood as 18, you are likely to spend at least 52 years as a fully grown adult
at the age of 30 you have lived less than one quarter of your adult life (12/52 years)
'middle age' is typically considered to be between 45-65
it is extremely common to switch careers, start new relationships, emigrate, go to college for the first or second time, or make other life-changing decisions in middle age
it's wild that I even have to spell it out, but older adults (60+) still have social lives and hobbies and interests.
you can still date when you get old. you can still fuck. you can still learn new skills, be fashionable, be competitive. you can still gossip, you can still travel, you can still read. you can still transition. you can still come out.
young doesn't mean peaked. you're inexperienced in your 20s! you're still learning and practicing! you're developing social skills and muscle memory that will last decades!
there are a million things to do in the world, and they don't vanish overnight because an imaginary number gets too big
My parents taught me that it's disrespectful for a child to speak to an adult a certain way.
If the goal was to teach me respect, they could have taught me that it's disrespectful for any person to speak to any person that way, explained why, and modeled the correct way to speak to people. I would have easily believed them with zero difficulty.
But what they wanted is power. Everything they said about "teaching me respect" was just a bullshit excuse.
