this explanation was so thorough and insightful i could kiss you
Thinking about how— up until this point— Arthur has kept the entirety of "Invictus" to himself as his last piece of independence outside of John. And how now— when John recites the full poem to Arthur, in what is surely another merging of their two individual consciousnesses into one— Arthur isn't angry, or scared, or upset. Instead, he's comforted and encouraged by that intermingling, because he's fully accepted himself and John as one fused-together, inseparable unit. And that fact, that complete blurring of himself into John, is what ultimately motivates him to keep moving, to keep fighting, to keep living.
I'm so glad I started saying "epic" again like I did in middle school. Sometimes things really are just epic idk what to tell u
How many people’s most beloved childhood stuffed animals are actually teddy bears, like I feel like that’s a thing someone made up. Reblog this and put what your longest owned and/or favorite stuffed animal as a child was in the tags, inquiring minds want to know
BIG emphasis on the Trevor Project. personally had the best experience, and i’ve gone to talk to them during some of the hardest times in my life. yes they do the therapy speak, but they take such good care to be respectful, kind, and really get to the route of problems and help find solutions. yes, it’s their job, but compared to other places i’ve gone through, the Trevor Project has always felt genuine and comforting. and texting/chatting online is a big plus if calling is a stressor for you or you’re in a situation where calling on the phone is risky!
Please, spread this for those who might need it right now

im one of the angels assigned to guard god's throne and i keep shaving a piece of wood off one of the legs so it gets progressively thinner and weaker until one day it will snap like a matchstick and the big man will topple from his seat of power to grace the ground with his holy ass. of course he's omniscient so he already knows this and will have to banish me from heaven when it happens, but because of free will he has to give me the option to repent right until the very end. we both know i'm not going to do it but the rules that define our very being won't let us take any other course of action and besides he made me this way, so really the joke's on him no matter what.
the minute i switched to this mindset was revolutionary
this sucks so bad i need to [remembers suicide jokes only worsen my mental health] put on the best talent show this towns ever seen
something similar happens during part 28!
there’s a part where kayne yells at john and every time i hear it, it sounds like arthur. arthur sounds like kayne as he’s lost in grief as kayne sounds like arthur in billowing anger.
I know this is simply because Malevolent is all voiced by Harlan, but I've rewinded this part in Part 49 maybe 5 times. Right after John reads the letter. Arthur's laugh sounds just like Kayne's.
It's so specific because I thought it was an accident but this isn't what Arthur's laugh sounds like, he has a warmer laugh, he holds it in his nose and resonance, even when it's an uncontained manic laugh like the ones in the faerie ring, those are still usually more of a chest sound. Kayne's is in the back of his throat and less controlled.
It doesn't nessecarily mean anything, but it is really cool to hear a bit of Kayne in Arthur's voice when he's so utterly lost with grief for himself.
Late but this is me when I hear about an eclipse
You should be able to say “don’t touch me” to anyone ever in any context and not have it be considered in the realm of surprising or insulting imho if we ever needed to normalize something it’s this
You were not born to pay bills, lose sleep, and answer emails. You were born to romanticize your life and make questionable decisions.
