In the final scenes of the BoJack Horseman ending, the show plays out with Catherine Feeny’s song “Mr. Blue”, which becomes a poignant capstone on his relationship with Diane. The song speaks of a tumultuous yet loving relationship, when they care for one another, but it’s ultimately unhealthy. The lyrics, such as “I have to go now,” reference Diane’s move to Texas, and leaving BoJack and "Hollywoo" behind. It backs up just how important her decision is for her own health and happiness.
The lyrics of "Mr. Blue" also refer to BoJack’s own future, and how though audiences have to leave him behind, it's clear he'll actually be alright. "Mr. Blue, Don't hold your head so low that you can't see the sky / Mr. Blue, It ain't so long since you were flying high.”
being an older sibling is like. you've never known a life without me. mom yelled at me and it taught her she never wanted to yell at you. I painted my room purple and grey and then you did too. we live in the same house but I haven't spoken to you in months. I don't know your favorite color. I saw it was going to rain so I picked you up from school on my way home so your books wouldn't get wet. i was so worried when you woke up sick when you were three. you don't remember being sick. mom and dad made their worst mistakes with me and I'm glad they didn't make them with you. I'm doing everything for the first time so you won't be in the dark. I don't know any of your friend's names anymore. I used to know them all. if something happens to mom and dad you won't have to worry because everything will fall to me. you don't like to be home alone but even if you don't see me just knowing I'm there makes you feel better. at least that's what mom told me. you still give me jars to open for you because you can't quite get them. I only see you during dinner. i'd never even think about missing one of your concerts. I stand at the counter when I eat and now you do, too. when offered a selection of books you picked the same one I did when i was your age. I'm terrified you compare yourself to me. I love you. I don't know if you like me. I want you to. mom says dinner's ready
“💙 Lessons From Eeyore 💙 1. It’s okay not to be happy all the time. 2. The world is exhausting because it’s too optimistic that it hurts. 3. It could be worse. 4. Some mornings are just meant to be terrible. 5. Some people will never get tired of your tiredness. Love them. 6. Some friends will outgrow you, but that doesn’t mean that they no longer care for you. 7. Some friends will outshine you, but that doesn’t mean that they no longer love you for being you. 8. It’s okay to be alone and not feel lonely. 9. It’s okay to be alone, especially if it’s a Saturday night at your house. 10. Sometimes the truth is nobody will be there at your most jaded moments. 11. Embrace solitude. 12. Not expecting too much from life can protect you from disappointments. 13. Pessimists can be great thinkers. 14. Talking slow and dull doesn’t mean you’re stupid. 15. You can be sad and still go on adventures with the people who notice you for who you really are, and that’s alright. 16. You can be sad and still be helpful even though you’re usually the helpless one. 17. Don’t take life too seriously. 18. But having a nice tail is important. Your aestheticness, style, and fashion are important. Just looking good at a new cute outfit can make your day. 19. The rain will one day stop, and everything will feel beautiful but it would rain again, and that’s life. 20. There are people who will always remember your birthday and would go the extra mile to make you feel special. 21. The void between sadness and satisfaction can be filled with sarcasm. 22. It’s all going to be okay no matter how bad, terrible or severe things would get and it would get worse eventually, but you’ll survive. 23. Like the grey donkey, don’t forget to be grateful and say “Thanks for noticin’ me,””

Let's go to a forbidden magical forest, we'll eat poison berries which taste like heaven. I'll recite your favorite poems, you sing my favorite songs. We'll sleep on our backs, gazing at the stars, *hands held*. Then we'll eat some more poison berries and die together *hands still held*.
