I work in a theater. The men I meet have always been the kindest people in the building. Shoutout to the lead male actor who asked me what I’d done for the day and, when I told him it was my birthday, quietly notified the stage manager so I could get a birthday shout out. Acknowledgment to the man who came and found me after my mom gave him flowers so he could thank me personally for even suggesting the idea to my mom and then hug me.
