mom says it's Cel's turn with the eldritch monster boyfriend :)
Thank you to everyone who joined me on stream to watch me color this!!
the thing that sucks is that people love saying sleep early is good etc etc and yeah it is. I've seen some benefits before. but I think it sucks to ignore that late night is the only time with any freedom. I think it sucks to not acknowledge the dread in waking up and it's a work day again

Update on the Twin Peaks obsession : the Diane sketch morphed into a future full piece. Also I started another painting because I have the attention span of a goldfish and typewriters are HARD to draw.
Gordon Cole with the evanescent Phillip Jeffries from a happier (? ) time before the Twin Peaks debacle. I don't like the boring beige color of Jeffries coat but I can't decide on a fun, stylish one that won't look out of place. Any ideas are welcome.
So I've been binge watching twin peaks and I can't believe I waited so long. It has everything. Beautiful imagery, creepy and unsettling vibes, owls that are not what they seem, my crush Audrey Horne (a goddess who deserves better), A LOT of fan theories and lore, the whole Blue Rose thing ... I am in love.
Also Phillip Jeffries the Teapot from Mars.
Here's a sketch of Diane, inspired by a scene in this fic.
the fine folks in my patreon discord did NOT want me to have an easy time drawing this dragon
The Dreamer returns to Alagadda looking for a way to escape her fate.
Just some pretty lineart for a bigger painting, always for "Tales of the Dreamer".
Right now med school is killing me (I have two exams in as many days, just let me die), but, as always when I am stressed and sleep deprived, I am also quite inspired ( meaning: I have a LOT of weird ideas), so... silver linings am I right?
"Lord Tytos Blackwood met him in the outer ward, mounted on a destrier as gaunt as himself. Very tall and very thin, the Lord of Raventree had a hook nose, long hair, and a ragged salt and pepper beard that showed more salt than pepper. In silver inlay on the breastplate of his burnished scarlet armor was a white tree bare and dead, surrounded by a flock of onyx ravens taking flight. A cloak of raven feathers fluttered from his shoulders"
Couldn't agree more. It has all the beauty and whimsy and terror one could want.
Also it's so unapologetically Crazy in the best way (spoilers!) for example: the protagonist at a certain point is saved by a horde of space-travelling cats! We meet an artist-turned-ghoul and he is absolutely friendly and helpful!
the dream quest to uknown kadath is so fucking underrated, i don’t care it’s arguably less ‘lovecraftian’ than most of his other works, it will always be my favorite. good fucking fantasy, got my imagination working like back in the golden days
THANK YOU. JESUS CHRIST THIS DRIVES ME INSANE EVERY FUCKING TIME BE NICE TO THE PSYCHROLUTES GOD

Day 16 - The Master and Margarita
'So, she used to say, she had gone out that day carrying those yellow flowers for me to find her at last and that if it hadn't happened she would have poisoned herself because her life was empty.'
(Mikhail Bulgakov "The Master and Margarita")
Italian med student with an obsession for painting. Also a mythology and history nerd. Give me a book and I'll give you my heart.
