My heart is full of brokenness and pain 🥺
The last wound and all wounds no longer affect me. I have become an indifferent man and bear all the disappointments that have passed and will pass. I am a man who accepts everything. I accept death, separation, and sadness with a big heart, and I long to cry over all the memories of the past.. I see my dreams falling and I know what disappointment feels like. I was overcome with sadness, and all I hoped was that I would be okay. I would like to breathe easier and see my prayers answered. I never achieved anything in my life and it was just dreams and illusions. Unfortunately, my dreams and joy are lost and it is impossible to achieve them. I am the one who repeated how to live within the limits of my pain. I have adapted to war, bombing, destruction, separation, all of it. With patience I did it.

Hello, I have an update to make.
Mohammed is a father of three. He and his wife Reham have three daughters; Toleen (age 7), Wateen (age 4), and Rateel (age 2).
They lived a wonderful and stable life before the bombings began. Now, they have lost their home, their source of income, and all of their remaining funds.
They have been struggling to even get basic necessities such as food, water, milk, and diapers. They have been displaced many times and are currently living in a tent.
Mohammed and Reham's children have suffered illness and injury. Wateen has osteoporosis and had broken her leg, and was unable to receive any treatment during her recovery.
Since my last post, which has been one of my most popular with 1,416 notes, they have only raised £337.
So, in total, despite the attention given to this campaign, it still only has £717 out of it's desperately needed £35,000.
I beg of all of you, I genuinely beg; please help Mohammed and his family. None of these children are even 10! Mohammed and his wife don't deserve this, their children don't deserve this, they all deserve to live in safety.
Please, if you're able, donate to this campaign. It is desperately low on funds and needs every bit of help it can get. Share it around even if you can't donate so others who can will.

I am writing to you on my return from the doctor who is following up on the condition of my son Amir, who suffers from a skin disease as a result of the epidemics spreading in the tents.
The doctor collects the papers, writes a new treatment, then asks me not to worry or think and to rest completely.
This life is not like us. We want to return to our life before the war. We want to rebuild our home that was destroyed by the occupation.

This is Mahmoud Al Sharif (@mahmoud-sharif), a married man with three children. His wife Soha recently gave birth on August 12th, 2024 - just ten days ago as of the making of this post.
The other children in Mahoud's family are Retal (12 years old), Joud (11 years old), Nageh (8 years old), And Yusra (10 days old)
Despite continious challenges along the way, Mahmoud himself was able to start a project of his own, a project that was 12 years in the making...

SIX YEARS OF RESILIENCE - A CALL FOR GLOBAL SOLIDARITY🏳️🌈🌈
When I think of what my fellow LGBTIQ refugees have endured, the memories are overwhelming. We've faced daily persecutions, gunshots, beatings, fire, and unimaginable violence. Yet, through all this, it’s that very hardship that fuels my resilience. It reminds me that we are still here, still fighting, and still surviving.
It has been six long years since I, along with hundreds of other queer refugees, fled our homes to escape persecution. From the refugee camps in Kakuma to our current lives in Gorom, South Sudan, the struggles have remained the same, if not worse. The world may have changed in many ways, but for us, little has improved.
We still face daily attacks and threats. We are still the subjects of violence and hatred, simply for being who we are. There are over 300 of us here, living with no hope, no food, and in spaces so cramped that the concept of personal space has become a distant memory. The world outside seems to forget we exist, while we continue to fight for our right to simply live.
This is a plea, not just from me, but from all of us. We need support, we need help, and we need it urgently. To the global queer community, we are reaching out to you. We need your voices, your resources, your advocacy. We need you to stand with us, to amplify our cries for help, and to let the world know that we are still here, and we are still fighting.

HEY WORLD, MY NAME IS CIARA
I am a queer refugee, a human rights activist, and a representative for hundreds of LGBTQ refugees here in the Gorom refugee camp of South Sudan. I’m 26 years old, originally from Uganda, and for nearly six years, I have been living in refugee camps—first in Kakuma, Kenya, and now in Gorom, South Sudan, where I relocated earlier this year.
I fled my homeland due to persecution and narrowly escaped death because of my sexual orientation. Unfortunately, life hasn’t changed much since arriving in Gorom. Alongside over 300 LGBTQ refugees, I continue to face daily persecution, beatings, death threats, and more. Our lives are constantly at risk due to the homophobic and hostile communities around us. South Sudan’s strict laws against LGBTQ individuals only add to the pressure, and the ongoing civil war brings additional challenges that make our situation even more dire.
We were forced to leave Kakuma camp, but the conditions here are no better. We live in a cramped space that is far from adequate. We are starving, with no access to proper medical care or other basic necessities. We are calling out for support and help. Your donations can make a huge difference in our daily survival—helping us secure food, medical care, and better housing.

if you're secure and have spare funds, i really encourage you to donate to @mahmoud-sharif and his family's campaign. his wife Soha gave birth to their fourth child yesterday (august 12th), and they are in urgent need of support and amplification as progress on their fundraiser has been extremely slow. instead of being able to celebrate the new addition to their family, Mahmoud and Soha are afraid for their children's lives and the future of their baby. compounding the dire nature of their situation, both of them need medical attention: after a pregnancy and birth sustained under terrible stress, Soha should be receiving extensive postnatal care, and Mahmoud needs ongoing treatment for eye and hand injuries he suffered during previous attacks on gaza. with all hospitals destroyed or barely functioning, neither of them can receive the care they need. for the whole family, evacuation fees alone amount to $20k, and more is needed for accommodation and medical treatment once they reach safety. please reblog and donate in any capacity you can to help them reach their goal as quickly as possible! even if all you can do is share, please please don't pass by. any effort you make helps.

My name is Hala Daoud, a Palestinian living in Gaza and l have three children.
It was God's will that I suffer from a severe and chronic disease called multiple sclerosis (MS). We discovered the disease at the end of 2021.
The treatment for the disease is a medication called ocrelizumab (Ocrevus) 600mg(2x300mg), administered every six months to prevent these attacks and protect the nervous system from immune system attacks.
No patient can buy the treatment themselves because it is very, very, very expensive. The cost of one dose reaches $12,000.
