oh my goshh !! thank u so much for writing my req for hitoshi !!
itâs so good and not too angsty at all, i hope you write a part 2 with whatever you have in mind thatâs amazing, plus i love how long & detailed the fic is
heâs not the only one who will be sleeping well tonight, again, tysm! ă
hitoshi wakes up to see you making breakfast, so he takes his chance and tries to talk to you, pt 2 of this
when hitoshi woke up from his slumber, he felt well-rested, as if he had the best sleep of his life. he hadnât yet furnished his room, and he sighed once he saw a practically empty room beside a desk and his bed. he rolled around in his warm and cozy bed, curling up into himself, wishing the warmth wasnât from his body heat but from yours.
a fist hit his door multiple times, causing him to grunt and slowly get out of bed.
he heard a voice quietly scold, âdude, whyâd you knock? he could be sleeping, we shouldâve waited!â
then a louder voice said, âbro, he doesnât know whatâs going on, so i gotta tell him!â
hitoshi trudged to the door and unlocked it, seeing an excited kaminari and a guilty-looking kirishima behind him. they were both in their pajamas still, but what could they possibly want? it was the weekend, after all.
he stood tall over them, with an unpleasant look on his face, though he wasnât necessarily upset. he stared right into kaminariâs eyes, expecting him to say something, as he was closer to hitoshi physically.
âhey, shinso! weâre making breakfast downstairs, do you wanna join?â kaminari loudly asked, smiling widely at him.
hitoshi paused then shrugged, âsure, why not?â
he opened his closet and put on the pair of slippers given to him, which the two boys were similarly wearing as well. he walked back to the boys, who led him downstairs. some small talk occurred, but were normally replied with short answers, as hitoshi normally didnât like to talk much in the morning.
when all three of the boys came downstairs, hitoshiâs eyes immediately landed on you cooking with bakugo. bakugo didnât seem to be talking to you as much, but hitoshi still frowned as he walked closer to you, sitting at a nearby table. even as other students came up to him, asking if he wanted to do anything before the school week started, his eyes kept wandering back to you.
as you skillfully flipped pancakes and made the batter for waffles, also cutting up fruits and taking out syrup for toppings, you turned your head to see shinso looking right at you with tired eyes. you paused stirring the batter for the waffles and stared back at him, seeing his baggy, black long-sleeve shirt and purple sweatpants. he looked at you up and down, observing your outfit. you were wearing an oversized purple t-shirt that looked too cute on you and black sweatpants, topped off with the class slippers that most of you were wearing.
hitoshi softly smiled. the two of you were unintentionally matching outfits with his colors. it made him feel proud in a way, but he didnât mention it.
once bakugo tapped you on the shoulder, you blushed and turned away from hitoshiâs eyes. the way he looked at you up and down made you nervous, though he was most likely checking out your outfit. the two of you were matching, but you didnât mention it until a voice shouted.
seroâs voice boomed, âwoah, shinso, y/n, are you guys matching?â
some voices became quieter at the question, and your classmates kept taking turns, looking at both of your outfits back and forth.
ochaco gasped, âyou are! aw, thatâs pretty cute!â
âhey, you guys are matching!â kaminari realized, then had a mischievous glint in his eyes. he sat down next to shinso and smirked, âshinsooooâŠâ
his eyes widened and he shook his head, turning it away from kaminari so he wouldnât see the grin on his face. god, he couldnât let him know that heâs been crushing on you for so long. heâd be seen as a weirdo again!
suddenly, bakugo grumbled, âbreakfast is ready.â
most of the students, including kaminari, ran toward the kitchen islands to grab their food right away. people were shoving each other, causing hitoshiâs eyes to widen. he didnât know your class was this chaotic, but he smiled at the thought. you were all like family.
you and hitoshi stayed behind, however. you were cutting up more strawberries for toppings, and hitoshi just didnât know if he should go up and get food when everyone was wreaking havoc.
after minutes passed, many students picked up their first serving and were already sat down, hitoshi finally stood up, and you were already picking out your food. he took a deep breath in. he wanted to talk to you.
he grabbed a plate, fork, and knife, then picked up a large waffle, sprayed some whipped cream on it, dropped a few raspberries and blueberries on it, then grabbed some scrambled eggs, and finally a napkin.
a familiar, soft voice rang in his ears, âhow did you sleep, shinso?â
his eyes widened and his heart beat fast, he almost froze in his place. he spoke, âoh, i slept well. thank you for asking.â he paused, not knowing what to say but wanting the conversation to continue. you looked nervous. âthe beds here are comfortable, but i havenât quite renovated my room yet.â
you nodded and began walking to a table, nodding for him to follow you. he did as you gestured, and you replied, âthatâs understandable, you only got here late at night, so donât stress about it. youâll have plenty of time to move in your furniture. i havenât yet fully furnished my room, but i have a bed, some posters, and a tv that i also play some video games on.â you scratched your neck during the last sentence, feeling a bit nervous telling someone all that so early.
he tried to hide the smile on his face, âoh, really? i play video games too, when i have free time, of course. i mostly play fortnite though.â
you beamed, âoh, i have fortnite too! we should play sometime.â
he nodded, then mentioned, âitâs a little weird how we matched, isnât it?â
âa little, i guess. promise i wasnât trying to copy you, i just wanted to wear it.â you laughed it off.
the conversation died down, and the two of you ate your food in silence. it was a comfortable silence, however, one that neither of you had often felt with strangers.
once he finished, he wiped his mouth and complimented, âthat was really good. do you often cook for the class like this?â
he was nearly shaking, tapping his foot on the ground, being nervous. he wasnât cold, just excited to be around someone heâs liked for so long. hopefully, with all these questions and compliments, the two of you would become closer.
âoh, thank you! but no, normally we donât cook at all besides for special occasions. the cafeteria offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the school, but bakugo became tired of the breakfast they handed out, and i thought it would be a good idea if we made breakfast because youâre new.â your eyes widened, and you shrunk into yourself, feeling nervous. âiâ oh, that was kinda mean, iâm sorryâ youâre new to our class, but not to the schoolâ we just wanted to make a good first impressionââ
you cut yourself off and blushed in embarrassment. you probably just fumbled right then and there.
hitoshi grinned at your flustered state and chuckled, âdonât worry about it, l/n, the food was amazing. it was nice of you to do something like that.â
you softly smiled in appreciation, and he held his hand out to your plate, silently asking if you were done. you thanked him, and he nodded, grabbing both of your plates and utensils to the sink. he washed them easily, then dried his hands off and walked back to you.
but you were caught in a daze. he was such a gentleman, and you hardly even knew him!
there was something different about him.
yes i decided to make the reader n hitoshi both play fortnite. so what?? theyâre both nerds!! anyway might make this a series if people want me to bc i donât want to end it off here. forgot to post last night so here

The sun shone through the sheer panels while Izuku was cutting the stems of the fresh dahlias he had ordered the day before. He glanced at the clock: he still had a few minutes more before he had to open the shop. Once he was done, he set the pink beauties aside and flipped over the âclosedâ sign to âopenâ.
It was only nine in the morning so Izuku wasnât expecting any customers. Most of the time people came by in the evening, ordering an arrangement for the next day or buying a quick bouquet of roses for a dinner date and whatnot. With that in mind he allowed himself to sink into this chair behind the counter; a mug of green tea in one hand and a pencil in the other. He might as well just work on a new arrangement design while heâs waiting for customers.
Just as his pencil starts grazing the paper, the bell above the door lets out a soft chime as a head pokes through the door.
Izuku's eyes met yours, his eyebrows raised. His surprised expression was replaced with a big smile in an instant.
âWhy hello, my favourite customer,â He stood up and leaned on the counter with a grin stretching across his face.
His gaze lingered on you for a moment longer than necessary, a faint blush creeping onto his cheeks.
âSoâŠwhat brings you here so early? I just opened the shop a few minutes ago.â
He supposed he shouldnât really be surprised considering youâd been coming by pretty often since youâd first met.
Although you had met only a few months ago, you and Izuku had become close friends. You had stumbled upon his flower shop when it had just opened and happened to be his first ever customer. You were really sweet, listening to him ramble while he was preparing your bouquet, even offering to help when the shop was understaffed. The way you smiled at him sweetly and shook your head whenever he apologized for talking too much, or the way youâd prop your chin up against the palm of your hand and asked about the meaning of the flowers he was putting togetherâ it just made him feel all gushy and flustered.
Despite working with flowers every day, Izuku had discovered that you were even more pleasing to look at than any of the flowers that were sitting pretty on the shelves.
He had never met anyone who was so attentive towards him, so patient with him. He found himself smiling every time you came by, eagerly waiting for the next time heâd get to chat with you.
You snort at the nickname and place your hands on the counter, leaning in a bit. âToday will be a great day, âZuku. Today I'm going to confess to the guy I like!â
Izukuâs smile falters for a second and you donât miss the way the light in his eyes dims.
âOh.â
He quickly clears his throat and tries to maintain the cheerful demeanor he had just a second ago.
âRight! Right, uh..Of course. And Iâm guessing you want to get him a bouquet? Thatâs really nice..I uh..Yeah, I can do that.â
He looks at the small smile plastered across your faceâ you seemed happy, youâd been his friend for a while so he should be happy for you, should be excited.
He clears his throat again, âSoâŠWhoâs the lucky guy? I donât remember you mentioning anybody to me,â he asked, trying his best not to sound upset.
âOh well, I met him a few months ago. Heâs really sweet, and hella smart too,â you giggled, a faint blush on your cheeks.
Izuku felt his heart sink even further.
He gave a small nod and a forced smile, he was happy for you, really he wasâŠ
âoohâŠhe sounds nice.â
He looked up from the flowers he had already started picking out to meet your eyes again and quickly looked back down.
âOkay well, for the arrangement I think we start off with some white carnations, they uh..they are often associated with pure love and devotion.â he cleared his throat for what seemed like the fifth time. âDo you perhaps know what his favourite flower is?â
You perk up slightly, âlisianthusesâ you cherp immediately.
Another pang of jealousy shot through him as he grabbed the requested flowers. Of course you knew the guy's favourite flowers off the top of your head.
âLisianthusesâŠgratitude, appreciation, and lasting bonds. Also considered a symbol of rising above challenges,â he mutters, turning to the shelf behind him.
âWell, he has good taste. I like those too.â
He canât help the bitter smile that forms on his face as you happily talk about your soon-to-be boyfriend.
âAnd theyâll fit nicely into the arrangement.â He adds, not daring to look up from the flowers he was working on.
You look through all the flower options before suggesting âI was thinking you could add some babyâs breath too. They represent innocence and purity, right?â
Izuku turned around to look at you with surprise,
â...You remember?â
ââCourse I remember. You think I donât listen when you talk?â You tilted your head with a small smile.
He chuckled a bit, a smile of his own forming on his face, he shook his head, âI mean, youâre a great listener, but I tend to go on so much about the flowers that I didnât know if youâd remember,â He grabbed a small handful of the white, bell shaped flowers, adding them into the arrangement carefully, setting them in the middle of the carnations, âbut yeah, youâre right they symbolize purity and innocenceâŠâ
He finally looked up to meet your eyes.
âYouâll have to tell me how it goesâŠokay?â He tried his best to keep a cheerful tone.
You quickly nodded with a cheeky smile, âTrust me, youâll be the first to know.â
Forcing another smile, he looked back at the bouquet, âGood.â
He set the vase down on the counter in front of you before he began wrapping it up in thin white crepe paper, trying his best to ignore the small ache in his heart knowing it was a gift for some other guy, âYou know,â he said quietly, âwhoever he is, heâs really lucky to have youâ he looked you in the eyes and for a moment everything went still.
âThereâŠall done.â He tied the ends of the paper with a pink ribbon before setting it down in front of you.
A small wave of heat passed over your face at his words, your lips curving into a small smile as you looked down at the finished bouquet of flowers, âIâm the lucky oneâŠheâs incredible.â you said, not braking eye contact.
With a quiet huff, Izuku looked away to check you out.
It was now four in the afternoon, and there was rain coming down in relentless sheets. Luckily, Izuku had grabbed his umbrella on the way out.
His shift was over, and all he wanted was to go home, crawl into bed, and maybe cry himself to sleep. Was he being overly dramatic? Perhaps. But heâd been holding back tears from the moment you ordered that bouquet.
As he made his way through the park on his way home, he noticed a figure sitting hunched over on a bench. No umbrella, no raincoat. They were clutching what looked like a bouquet in their hands. The rain dripped from their hair and shoulders, yet they seemed lost in their own quiet world.
Could it be?
Izukuâs eyes widened as he quickened his pace, rushing toward the figure on the bench. And sure enough, it was you. As he drew closer, he caught the faint sound of quiet sniffles. He called your name softly twice before you slowly turned to face him.
âIzukuâŠ?â
Your voice barely above a whisper.
His heart clenched at the look in your eyesâso miserable. It hurt him to see you like this, sitting there in the rain, tears shimmering on your cheeks.
âHey now,â Izuku said softly, kneeling down in front of you and offering a gentle, reassuring smile. He held the umbrella above both of you, shielding you from the pouring rain as he looked into your eyes with concern. âWhat happened? Talk to me.â
âItâs justâ it was supposed to be a surprise! It was meant to be romantic!â You sniffled again, voice trembling. âOnce I had the bouquet, I wanted to get tickets for the flower show, but they were all sold out. And then it started pouring⊠the flowers got ruined, my clothes are soakedâŠand I justâŠeverythingâs a mess.â
Izukuâs eyebrows furrowed in sympathy. âShh, itâs okay,â he murmured softly. âIf he rejected you just because everything wasn't perfect then he's an idiot and doesn't deserve you. Youâre doing all this for him, you put in all this effort.â
Your eyes met his, and for a moment, you hesitated before speaking again, âItâs for you. Youâre the guy.â You took a shaky breath. âI planned this to ask you out. I was going to surprise you after your shift⊠but now everythingâs ruined. Iâ Iâm sorry.â You look down at your lap, avoiding eye contact.
Izukuâs eyes widened, and for a moment, he just stared at you, processing your words. He reached out gently, taking your trembling hands into his. You raised your gaze to him as you felt his warm fingers cup your cheek. Without another word, Izuku leaned in closer and pressed his lips softly to yours in a gentle, heartfelt kiss. The rain continued to fall around you both, but that didnât upset you anymore.
He pulled away and a small, shy smile tugged at his lips as he squeezed your hands gently. âYou donât need a fancy plan or perfect timing, I already think youâre ama-â you cut him off by pulling him into another kiss. You could feel him smile against your lips.
âYouâre gonna have to pay for what you put me through, though,â he teased softly, a playful glint in his eyes. âI canât believe you had me make my own bouquet and then made me think it was for another guy!â
You giggled at his teasing, pressing another quick peck to his lips. âI know. That was cruel. But I was going to make it up to you with the flower show tickets!â
Izuku chuckled softly, his expression softening. âWhatever, Iâm happy anyway.â He paused, then gently brushed a damp strand of hair from your face. âNow letâs get you home and dry you off, yeah?â

for @kcandyliciouss <3 | event masterpost
he told you he didnât need sunscreen. said it like it was obvious. like he wasnât spending half the day diving across hot sand with his shirt off.
yaku walks out of the bathroom with a towel low on his hips, hair damp, skin flushed and radiating heat. he doesnât say anything at first. just crosses the room, jaw tight, arms stiff at his sides.
he smells faintly like strawberry mojito. your shower gel. the one he pretends not to like but still uses when heâs sore and sun-tired. it lingers behind the steam, sharp and sweet.
youâre already sitting on the edge of the bed, aftersun jar open beside you. he doesnât ask. just turns around and waits.
his back is bad â deep red across the shoulders, uneven where the sun hit hardest. the kind of burn that makes even a shirt unbearable.
you rub the lotion between your palms and touch him carefully. he stiffens at first. winces.
âouch,â he mutters.
âi know.â
he doesnât complain again.
you work in silence, smoothing the cream across his back, down his sides, careful around the worst spots. he shifts once when your thumbs brush the his deep-red shoulder. otherwise, he doesnât move.
the air smells like sugar and lime and heat. his skin slowly cools under your hands.
when you finish, you donât pull away right away. you let your hand rest flat between his shoulder blades. his breathingâs slowed. his shoulders have dropped.
he turns his head slightly. doesnât look at you, just says, quiet:
âyouâre good at taking care of me.â
you donât answer. just slide your hand down, light, careful, and press a kiss to the space between his shoulders â burned and lotion-slicked and warm.
he lets you. says nothing. just sits there with you, still smelling like strawberries and mint, like he didnât mean to need this but doesnât want it to end.
