Worked up this illustration of a couple I saw on the train a few weeks back… I embellished a little on the design; the guy didn’t have this body frame, & neither wore gold, but both carried a powerful sense of African pride about them, which I loved… People couldn’t take their eyes off them… I loved that too.

She then traveled to England to study fashion design. On her return to Nigeria, she founded Supreme Stitches, which produced clothing for upscale clientele. Then, in 1993, without any prior experience in the oil business, she was awarded an oil prospecting license, allowing her company to explore for oil in one of Nigeria’s most prolific oil blocks. She is a mother of 4 sons and built her Fortune from Oil and fashion and currently lives in Nigeria with her husband of 35 years.
