we don’t thank bram stoker enough for writing one of the best m/f pairings (jonmina). the mutual love, respect, and care they have for each other makes my heart sing. seeing it being tossed, not even to the side, straight up in the GARBAGE for some dumbass and uninspired adaptations, sequels, etc will always grind my gears! they are chock-full of the angst and passion these people wanna give to the other ship that shall-not-be-named. jonathan vows in the secrecy of his journal (and effectively heart) to become a vampire, despite his trauma, should they fail to save mina because he doesn’t want her to suffer at all if not alone! mina literally tells him that “our souls are knit into one, for all life and all time” when he has doubts of saving her from vampirism because he knows what that will entail! why is everyone such cowards!!!!!!
jonathan sims is a very talented voice actor but unfortunately I primarily associate him with when he was playing seward on re: dracula, and he had to begin like half his episodes with "warning: this episode contains medical ableism." my dad and I quote that around the house to this day. Gazafunds actually deals with this anxiety and makes a decision for you if you want. Their home page has a spotlighted fundraiser and the code consider things like how close the gfm is to finishing, when the most recent donation is, etc. So it's randomized to help as many people as possible.
There's also @helpgazachildren which if you donate, you can help multiple people at once since it's a whole mutual aid fund, or at least close to it. Hussam distributes money to people who need it when he's asked.

Nine months of displacement and famine have incredibly added to our sufferings and hardships. We have used all words of sadness and sorrow to describe the situation we have reached to, but such words weren't enough. The size of tragedy and suffering are much greater than you may have seen or watched on several channels and social media sites.🧡💚🤍🖤
To be displaced and homeless isn't easy to imagine. To lose what you have built all your lifetime is unbearable to think of!!! Houses and livelihood businesses have vanished, leaving behind the whole family to suffer for getting the simplest daily basic needs! Life is unfairly dire and harsh, and we don't deserve to live such hard scenarios.
So , I am asking you to give your hand to people leading a hard and dire life in Gaza. You are our last hope in a time all means of life no longer exist. Please stand with us to help keep my family stay safe .🧡💚🤍🖤
