I'm actually surprised you've found this small corner of Tumblr, but I'm happy to see you!

I usually go by zombie or KK! English isn't actually my first language, so sorry in advance if I make any bad mistakes.

This is my first time actually stepping out of my comfort zone and posting something, so I'm hoping that it goes well!

I'm a fanfic writer and write for Linked Universe and maybe other Fandoms in the future. But LU is currently my hyperfixation, so it might take a while to change that.

I'm back after centuries of decomposing and I've gotten a new idea

And you guessed it

It's about Legend

I don't have much to say

I've been busy with school and all, and it's been months since I wrote, so this could be really bad

So let's just start

Prompt:

The Chain & You are staying at Lon Lon Ranch for a few days to rest. But you got sick on the way here. Mistakes were made, comfort ensued.

Notes:

The sun was high up in the sky, the warm rays of light setting everything into a calm environment. Malon was cooking up some delicious lunch while the Links were outside doing some farm work, enjoying the sun and the refreshing wind of the late morning.

It was a peaceful day for all of the Chain, for once.

Well, for almost everyone.

You were stuck in the living room, wrapped tightly in a blanket, accompanied by an old musty bucket at your feet.

You had gotten sick just before your arrival, puking right at Legend's feet, which for the record, made him avoid you even more now.

You had only felt that sick once just now, and Legend was unfortunate enough to be right in front of you.

"I'm not risking to have more of their dinner remains on my shoes!"

As Legend phrased it to the others, refusing to get close to you in a 5 meter radius until you were perfectly up and running again.

You felt better now, but he was still as stubborn as a mule. It was incredible to watch.

Warriors was one of the first to be done with his work, as usual. So he decided to give you some company until lunch was ready.

You had only noticed him after the couch gave in slightly under his weight.

"How's it going? Feeling better?"

Wars tries to shoot up a conversation as he's stripping his armor off for the day. You still don't get why he's wearing it while working on a ranch, with no monsters ever in sight.

You gave a meekly "yeah" as your response, which didn't make his mood any better.

Just as the conversation was about to turn awkward, Twilight and Time had walked in to join the waiting progress, conversing casually before heading over to check on me.

"Ya' good, kid?"

Twilight asked as he leaned over the back of the couch to talk face-to-face, still with his usual country boy accent.

After saying the same reply over and over again to everyone entering in the living room, it was lunch time.

Legend had arrived late, only walking in as the infamous pumpkin soup was being served. But no one bat an eye, since everyone could trust him to be the responsible one out of the younger bunch.

All went quiet after everyone greeted Legend at the table, with only very few of Legend's responses served to his travel companions.

All 10 9 of them were all over you. Even if you told them you were doing fine, they would see it as the apocalypse.

The ranch finally started to settle down, each having their free time to spend with either other members, or being on their own on the ranch on in town.

The sky was quick to turn dark, with a clear night sky as the first stars were appearing just now. You could only sit and watch out of the window as the moon shone over this era of Hyrule. It was fascinating how every era looked uniquely different from each other, but the sky always stayed the same, unaffected by the wars and disasters that stuck Hyrule over the centuries.

Aftera short walk on the ranch and being called inside again by Malon to 'rest', you sat back down on the couch, the couch already remembering the spot on the cushions where you had sat all day.

You had planned to sleep on the couch and maybe get some more alone time rather than share a room.

It was great staying with the Chain, really. But sometimes, enough is enough.

The couch moved as someone put their weight on it. You look over, and right next to you was Legend, staring forward like a statue.

It left you puzzled as to why he sat there so suddenly. Maybe he was the one person who knew you weren't sick anymore? It would only make sense, it's Legend after all.

"... alright?"

You could barely make out what we're the first words he said, but you understood his message.

"Yeah. I'm better."

You thought that was it with the daily interactions between you two, but he didn't move, nor did he say anything else.

It wasn't hard for you to read people, and you could certainly sense that something was up...

You both sit there in an awkward silence, listening to the chirps from various bugs outside. But the silence was quite comfortable.

"Sorry.."

Came a mutter from the hero, which was the last thing you'd expect to hear, and from him of all people. Was he apologizing for something for once? But it did feel like he really meant it, which made you feel somewhat better about ruining his boots a few hours ago.

Nonetheless, you were stunned as you tried to come up with a good answer.

"It's nothing. You dont have to apologize." Was the only thing you would come up with, which only set him back to his unapologetic state.

After yet another session of unbreakable silence, Legend grabbed the unoccupied blanket that was draped over his side of the couch. He got comfortable and laid down, probably not in the mood to sleep with the others either, which wasn't uncommon.

...

"Do you mind?"

He eventually breaks the silence, cause you were sitting too close to him, so he was unable to get his legs up properly.

"Right, sorry."

Was your only response as you moved to the end of the couch. With a soft sigh, Legend got comfortable and closed his eyes to finally rest.

Now your space was taken up, and neither of you wanted to get up and sleep in the same room as the other Links.

So now you tried to think of a solution, eventually laying on your side and trying to squeeze onto the couch with him, facing away from each other to avoid any uncomfortable situation.

You could feel him stir a little to make space, but he clearly wasn't happy about sharing.

The space was too cramped for you to sleep comfortably, but you didn't want to move, even if you had no choice.

So against your will, you got up from the couch and immediately laid down again, now spread out on the carpet right by Legend's feet with a blanket and pillow taken with you to the floor to sleep with.

It wasn't even a minute before someone broke the silence.

"Get up."

The hero that had taken up the couch was now up again, not at all pleased to see you sleeping on the floor like a peasant.

"I'm fine."

You wanted to stay stubborn and let him sleep. But you could only watch as Legend got up from his spot and grabbed your wrists, pulling you frim the carpet right to your feet and almost giving you another nausea attack.

You wanted to protest, but he didn't bother to give you a chance to speak.

"Don't you dare do that when there's clearly space. Ya hear me?"

You could only nod as he plopped you down, obeying him without second thought as you lay down for the third time in one night.

"But I don't want you to sleep on the floor."

It's like you read his mind, since he stopped right in his tracks as he was about to settle down at your feet.

"I can handle it."

"So can I."

"No, you–"

"You know I can."

After a quick round of back and forth, you convinced him to not sleep on the old ragged carpet of the living room. But what now?

You could almost see the gears turning in is head. But he eventually came up with something, which was by far, the dumbest thing he's ever done, and something that he will probably regret forever.

"Move over."

He tried to make this quick and easy, and you only followed his command as he pushed you a hit to squeeze in behind you, now between you and the couch.

Being the nice person you are, you gave him some of your blanket, and he surprisingly accepted.

It was an awkward situation, with Legend pressed against your back in dead silence, squeezed together to avoid falling onto the well-aged carpet in the middle of the night.

At first I was hard to even keep your eyes closed, but exhaustion slowly took over as your eyes started to droop.

But something ripped you out of your peace that made your heart speed up.

The veteran had draped his arm over you, holding you close as you could feel his breath on the back of your neck. It was heavy and calm, which meant sleep probably took him earlier than you.

But you knew he was a light sleeper, so without any resistance, you held onto his arm before exhaustion finally took you into a deep sleep.

You thought you had rested well, but turns out it was still way too early, since the sun wasn't even up yet.

And you weren't the first to notice, since Legend's arm was gone from your hold, but he was still there, probably trying to keep some distance between your bodies.

You couldn't resist the temptation anymore, imagining his drowsy eyes and his hair all over the place. You shifted your body carefully, slowly turning over to face him.

He was already observing you from the moment he was awake, but there was another awkward stare between you two.

And man.

He looked even better than you imagined.

Everything about him looked more appealing than ever. Or maybe you didn't notice until getting so close to him.

...

"Morning."

You attempt to break the silence of the early morning, wanting to stay on good terms with him.

"Morning."

He replied the same way. He never was much of a talker in the morning, and you didn't mind it.

It felt strange comforting to lay there with him. It warms your heart at just how nice he could be.

But you didn't expect him to do such a bold move.

He was now huddled up to you again, this time with his face buried in your chest. You could see his blush reaching all the way up to his long pointy ears, and my god was he cute.

The comforting space you created only got better as he seemed to relax against you, with your hand now placed on his back to keep him there.

"Hey?"

You tried to get his attention, which succeeded as he looked up at you, his face still flushed a reddish color.

"Is it okay if I rant a little?"

Legend agreed without much interest, bringing you forth to start rambling mindlessly to him. It was almost therapeutic having someone to talk to. And it seemed like he really didn't mind, just wanting to hold onto you.

It's kind of funny, how the one hero that is always so tense is cuddling with you at this moment.

Both of you lay there in silence for a long time, almost falling asleep again from the little comfort bubble you've created.

Legend's face was burried in your chest as you traced some nonsensical patterns on his back.

But then both of you started hearing the creaking footsteps coming from the guests room, where the other heroes are situated.

Before you could even say something to alert Legend, he sprung up from the couch, almost tumbling over you as he got up.

He was up just in time, as Time and Warriors entered the living room area.

"Morning. Where were you two even? I didn't see you at all."

Warriors mentioned as he walked over, just being curious.

"I slept on the floor while [Name] was on the couch."

Legend lied right in his face, but you could understand that he didn't want to be seen cuddling with anyone.

"Protecting the ladies, are we?"

Warriors started teasing again, which immediately broke out into a bickering fight.

But Time was watching this conversation with a big smirk before stopping them from causing any accidents.

Time had come to the kitchen at night to get some water. And on the way there, he spotted the two of you huddled up together.

But your secret is safe with him.

It's not as bad as I thought it would be, and that's wonderful👍

Now that the children have been fed, I must dissapear for another 3 months.

Since you asked for some lu x reader headcannons, I think Time and Hyrule would be fae like in the way they court their beloved. Giving them foods, playfulling tricking them, trying so desperately to get their beloved to break any of the fae rules so they can have a reason to have them to themselves.

And also, I don't know anything about fae, so I'm really sorry if I get anything wrong🙇‍♂️

But what I'm guessing is that they kind of act like fae and have their special sort of rules(?)

Twilight is glad to finally be back in Ordon Village, his lovely home. He can't wait to see all of the familiar faces and places, and of course, his beloved boyfriend.

You two met not too long ago, but it sparked between you right from the beginning when you first moved to Ordon. Almost everyone in town thinks you two have something going on, and you do.

But the catch is that you haven't made it public yet, acting as 'roommates' when in reality you always snuggle up together or goof around while working on the ranch.

It isn't really necessary to keep it a secret, since most people would be really supportive, but you've decided to keep doing it for now until you've figured something out.

He might be home, but now he has the Chain in tow, hoping they don't find out just yet, even though he's sure that they would be accepting of his unique relationship. But there's always a what if that stops him from actually being open about his same sex relationship.

You were relaxing at the ranch after taking care of everything around the ranch, waiting for him to come back soon.

The sound of some knocking at the door snaps you out of your thought. You feel giddy and excited to see him, hoping its actually Twilight waiting behind the door.

He's been gone for so long you can't wait to throw your arms around him and kiss him over and over again.

...

... Until you opened the door and saw 8 other men with him at the front door, with all of them looking awfully similar to each other.

"Uhm... everyone, this is my... roommate!"

Twilight informed the others nervously. Giving you a quick side glance, signaling you to play along.

"Yep. I'm [Name], nice to meet you all."

You greet them and wave a bit before stepping to the side to let them in. The boys quickly fill the room while most of them look around curiously after your allowance.

You had quickly leaned all their names, or well, their nicknames. But it was still quite confusing having to call your beloved Link *Twilight*.

You wait for a moment until asking the question you've been thinking of for the past minute.

"It's already pretty late, should I cook something for dinner?"

Twilight was about to gladly offer his help just to spend some more time with you, but Wild quickly came first.

"I could help! The name's Wild, just to fresh up your memory."

Wild suggested and stepped forward, with Twilight deciding to keep his mouth shut so he wouldnt raise any suspicion.

"Alright then. How about some fresh pumpkin soup? Im sure Link has told you about it before." You say to the others and take a look at all of them.

"Let's see if it's as good as his."

The oldest says. He seems to have red and blue markings on his face, and is also noticably taller than the average Hylian.

"I'll try my best to compete."

You say and let out a small chuckle as you walk to the kitchen with Wild in tow, giving Twilight one more sorry look while all the others scattered around the ranch.

After a while of cooking enough soup foe everyone, you call all the boys into the kitchen, which soon gathered at the dinner table to try your pumpkin style soup.

All of them sat around the dinner table as you put the cooking pot in the middle and make sure to give every Link enough to be full for the day. It was nice sitting with so many people at the table, as if you were family. Seeing all of their expressions as they try your soup made you giggle.

You soon sat down next to Twilight after giving everyone a fair portion to eat. Twilight sneeaks his hand on your thigh while enjoying your self-made pumpkin soup. It had a more sweet aroma to it and seemed like the perfect at home medicine.

After dinner, everyone has scattered once again, leaving you and Twilight in the kitchen with the dirty dishes. There was no one here with you two, so the two of you were enjoying your alone time with some playful teasing.

You bump your hips together with his from the side playfully and he gets you back with a poke in your side, making you both chuckle.

"I'm glad you're back. I missed your *oh so muscular body*. And you too of course."

You say to tease him a little bit, still feeling quite giddy.

"I missed you too, especially this."

The rancher replied before patting your rear, making you gasp and nudge his side.

"Really now? What about this?"

You replied and put your hands against his chest before leaning in for a long awaited kiss.

Twilight immediately reacted and pulled you closer by your waist, basically melting in your hands.

Both of you were really getting into it, ignoring the world around you before both of you started to hear footsteps approaching the kitchen.

You both quickly create some distance and act like nothing has happened.

You soon see the same tall blonde man from earlier round the corner. You could even mistake him as the father of all these boys.

"You two are taking awfully long. Do you need any help?"

The man asked with his soothing voice.

"We're fine."

"Everything's alright."

You and Twilight state before putting the remaining dishes into the cupboards after cleaning all of it properly. You lean closer to Twilight and whisper to him.

"So that's your 'Dad'?"

You whisper to your secret significant other teasingly, but it seems like Time heard you.

"Do you really call me your father when I'm not around?"

The man speaks up again and smiles softly as he walks over to give you a firm handshake.

"Please, call me Time."

You nod slightly and shake his hand.

"[Name], if you didn't hear me earlier."

You answer and chuckle a little but still feel kind of nervous, since he and your Link are probably very close.

Time seems to notice the awkward behavior between the two men but decides to ignore it.

"Ah, right. I came here to tell you two that we will be going into town to restock our supplies."

The older man looks at Twilight and then at you.

"Do you wish to come with us?"

He flashed you a quick smile while waiting for you answer.

"Oh, thank you, but I have to decline your offer. I still have some work to do here at the ranch."

You politely decline his invitation before Twilight takes the opportunity.

"I think I should stay here too. I already have enough supplies, and [Name] over here might need some help."

Twilight looks over to you and flashes you a smile. And you do the same.

"Yes. That would be really nice."

Time looks between the two of you, already suspecting something, but showing no signs of it.

"I understand we will try to be back in an hour to assist you later."

Both you and Twilight nod and glance at each other, trying to hide your smiles.

You're finally gonna be alone, which will definitely result in lots of kisses and hugs.

"Don't do anything while we're gone."

Time says jokingly and he leaves the room, making both of you blush.

It wasn't long until all of the boys left. Leaving you and Twilight with the ranch all to yourselves.

After waiting for a minute or two, you pretty much just throw yourself at your boyfriend, feeling needy after having to wait for him for so long.

"Whoa there darlin'. Don't just attack me like that."

He chuckles and gives you a toothy smile, his canines showing that you love oh so much.

"I'm sorry but I couldn't resist."

You answered softly and hugged him tighter.

"I missed you so much."

You muffled into his chest, making his cheeks turn red.

"Missed you too sweetheart."

He replies and picks you up to carry you to the couch.

"I can walk myself, you know."

You spoke but still showed a small smirk on your lips.

He then let's himself fall down on the couch while you're still laying safely in his arms, a squeak escaping your lips.

You were about to speak up as Twilight starts smothering you in kisses out of nowhere, but of course you didn't mind getting so much affection from your silly boyfriend.

After quite a while of being touchy feely and messing up the neatly placed blankets and pillow on the couch, both of you decided to go a more calmer route. Which mean picking out your favourite book and reading to him while he lays on your flat chest, not being able to resist squeezing your sides with his hands.

It was amazing getting to cuddle your beloved again after so long. But you still had lots of catching up to do.

Just as Twilight was falling asleep on you while you were starting another chapter, you hear someone open the door to the Rancher's home.

Twilight was already asleep at this point, but you couldn't just wake him up again. He's just too cute!

Before you could choose what decision to make, Warriors had turned the corner, standing at the foot of the couch and looking at Twilight as he's sleeping soundly on his roommates chest.

Ever since you and Legend have been caught, Legend has distanced himself from you even more, which left you as a total wreck. It looks like the others might even feel bad for you two.

It's been a few days ever since that happened, and it seems like he will avoid you for the rest of your life.

You were sitting on a fallen tree all alone, looking like a wet dog, as the others were building up their next camp when Twilight approached you and sat down next to you on the fallen tree. Both of you were silent for a moment before he started to speak in a soft tone.

"Hey, uhm... Sorry, I think I might've ruined ya moment back at the lake."

Twi let's out an awkward chuckle but soon stops as he sees your gloomy expression.

"It's okay..."

You answer quietly, but you know he doesn't believe you one second.

"I'm truly sorry. I didn't think it would end up being so bad. I should've known his reaction wouldn't go so well." he tries to apologize.

"I said it's okay. You didn't know it would turn out like this."

Twilight then lets out a guilty sigh and stands up to help the others.

You soon spot Legend sitting somewhere in the forrest all alone, as always. You contemplate for a while if you should go there or not, but then you decide against it.

Everyone was dead silent while eating Wild's cooked dinner. Maybe because they were all having a bad day, maybe because Twilight caught you and Legend swimming togheter naked. You're not sure.

It was getting kind of boring sitting in silence this whole time, but everyone went to sleep soon, except for two people.

You and Legend were still lying awake, lying as far apart as possible, but why? What did you do to make him so upset? Or does he think you're just embarrassed?

After a while of just laying awake doing nothing, you get yourself together and trust your gut. You need to talk to him.

No, you need him.

Taking a deep breath, you stand up and start to quietly make your way over to Legend. It felt worse than you thought, walking to the person that avoids you at any cost while it's freezing cold.

You eventually sit down next to him, wanting to say something, but nothing comes out of your mouth. Legend just stays still, contemplating if he should say something, but you catch him looking at you quite a few times. Looks like he's trying to say something, his face having a red tint from the cold, which just makes him look even cuter.

After what felt like hours of silence, he sits up and tries not to look at you as you two sit next to each other.

"Hey, uhm... I'm sorry. I might've gone too far last time.."

You try to start the conversation. Legend just gives you a confused look mixed with surprise.

"What?"

"I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable back at the lake." You try to explain again.

"Why? I'm the one who did it first." He states as he turns to face you. He seems to be a bit nervous.

"Well, I guess thats true, but... Why did you avoid me?" You ask quietly, hoping to get an answer. He doesn't respond.

But after a while of awkward silence, he asks something that most people can't answer.

"What are we?"

That question felt like a punch to the gut. What are you supposed to say?

"... I don't know."

You felt somewhat guilty for not being able to give him an answer. He already looks so troubled. The both of you fall into silence yet again.

Legend decided to get himself together and just say it.

"Would it be weird if I told you that I love you?"

This situation was just getting worse. Or better, maybe?

"... To be honest. It's not even that bad." You respond as you try to make sense of what's going on.

"Well... I love you. I don't know why."

You felt your heart speeding up rapidly. Was this an actual confession? Or was he just playing tricks on you?

"... And?" Legend asks you hesitantly, his voice quivering a little.

"Do you really love me, or are you just trying to make me feel better?"

Your question has somewhat upset him.

"You think I'm lying?" He sounds offended by your question.

Why is it so hard to do this?

You both fall into silence once again, guilt painting all over your face.

"I'm sorry."

"You need to stop apologizing." He's right, but it's just who you are, always taking the blame for everything.

"But I really should. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you."

This just gets more and more awkward. You didn't want it to turn out like this.

"Do you love me, [Name]?" He asks into the silence, but you can see him steal a glance at you.

"I... I do. But I'm really not worth it." You tell yourself, but Legend immediately corrects you.

"You are worth it. You just don't believe in yourself, like me."

Both of you fall silent again. Shocker, huh?

You stare off into the distance before feeling something weighing down your shoulder. You look at what's causing it and see Legends head resting on your shoulder.

It makes you smile, just seeing him get closer to you again.

Legend feels someone's eyes on him and looks up at you, making the both of you blush and look away.

"What?" He finally asks you and looks back up at you, a bit nervous what your reaction might be. But it still seems like he just can't take his eyes off for you.

"Nothing." You say and turn your head to face forward again.

"Please stay like this."

As you wished, both of you stayed like this, sitting together while leaning against each other.

You feel his hand creeping onto yours before you decide to interlock your fingers with each other. It gives you a warm and welcoming feeling, something you've always wanted.

And before you know it, both of you are sleeping soundly, cuddling next to each other.

You feel the morning sun shine down on you through the leaves. But that's not what wakes you up. It's the faint giggling of some people.

Your eyes flutter open before you're met with a few pairs of eyes, all giggling and smiling.

You're still processing what's happening as you feel Legend moving next to you.

His eyes open. It takes him a moment to wake up properly before he realizes what's going on and just freezes for a good second before his face becomes tomato red.

"Uhh... Just shut up!"

He stumbles upon his words as the others try to hold back their laughter.

"Alright, alright, you lovebirds. Breakfast is ready in 20."

Wild speaks up before walking back over to his cooking pot.

The small crowd around you two slowly dissolves, leaving you and Legend alone. After a few seconds of sitting together in silence, he sits up properly and shifts away from you, creating a small space in between.

It makes you sad, seeing how much he avoids showing love when others are around. Well, you don't really like PDA either, but a little bit of affection won't hurt.

You get up and just look at him for a moment, contemplating if you should go through with your plan or not.

Legend looks up as he notices you moving. He was just about to ask what you're doing before you just throw yourself on him, making him grunt on the impact of your body squishing his.

You know he was annoyed for you just falling onto him, but he still felt a bit flustered at the close proximity.

"What are you doing?"

Legend says in a bit of an exaggerated tone while you make yourself comfortable on his lap, feeling quite giddy from just this interaction.

You shift your position a bit to get comfortable and look up at him with a smirk.

"You don't mind, do you?"

"... No."

It made you happy, filling you with a new sense of energy, knowing you just made him blush and even admit to like your shenanigans.

Without thinking properly, you lean towards him and give him a kiss square on the lips, making him flinch just a little from your sudden boldness.

"W-what was that for..?"

It was the first time you've ever heard him stutter, let alone be the cause of it. You have no clue how you pulled out so much energy just from a simple morning waking up next to him. You just smile at him like a little kid without ever giving him an answer, leaving him confused and curious.

It's been a long night for the Chain, constantly walking and barely taking breaks while traveling through Twilight's Hyrule, but you were lucky to not run into any monsters.

Everyone has settled down in a small cave, just in case it would start to rain. Wild was handing out some bowls of freshly cooked stew with wild greens that Twi had picked for him to cook. Everyone was eating their food, either talking to each other or just minding their own business.

Then there was Legend, sitting all the way outside of their small housing. He had already finished his food and had just been sitting there. He seems like usual, but you could sense that he was feeling lonely, so you quickly ate the rest of your food and shoved the empty bowl into the nearest Links hand, which was Wind in that case. Wind and Four just looked at you with a question mark on their faces before putting your bowl down and getting back into theor own conversation.

You and Legend have never really talked to each other. He always seemed to avoid you in some way, but you decided to give it a try. You made your way over to Legend with soft steps as he glanced over at you as you were a few meters away from him. It seems like he sensed your presence. You try to say something, but no words would come out, so you stand there awkwardly as he tries to ignore you. After a while, you sigh and hesitantly sit down next to him. He soon speaks up in his usual grumpy voice.

You thought he would probably start the conversation with something like: "Why are you here?" Or "Are you here to annoy me once again?", but no. You two just sat there in an awkward silence.

You take a deep breath before attempting to break the ice that has formed between the two of you.

"... So... how are you?"

Gosh. That was probably the worst thing you've ever said, and you've never been good at starting conversations, but you've never thought you would be this bad.

He gives you a questioning glare before looking out into the distance again.

"I'm fine, I guess." He answers hesitantly and glances at you again. It seems like he doesn't completely hate you, which makes you feel just a bit better.

"Do you want to do something together, maybe? We still have plenty of time." You suggest with a hopeful smile and look over to him. You can see him think for a moment before facing you.

"... Fine. What do you have in mind?"

Finally. He was finally starting to warm up to you, which gave you a nice warm feeling in your body. But now you had to think of something to do since you didn't think you would get this far.

"... And?" He asks after a moment of more silence. You forgot to answer while you were lost in your thoughts.

"Ah, uhm... how about..."

You start to look around, desperately looking for something to do. You didn't want to lose the progress you've made with him, even if its just a minor coversation.

You spot a lake behind the trees and get an idea, but before thinking first, you blurt out something that no one would've expected.

"How about Skinny dipping?"

What the hell did was that!?!? You didn't think you would be able to fall even deeper into this hell hole!

Legend froze on the spot, the only thing heating up being his soft cheeks, which are now tinted a soft red.

You two stare at each other awkwardly for a moment, both stunned by what has just been said seconds ago.

"I-I mean–"

I stutter before I look away out of pure embarrassment. Legend just stares at you in disbelief, not knowing what to say. He turns away and takes a deep breath.

"We... we can go down to the lake..."

He mumbles as he tries to ignore what just happened. You look back at him in surprise, but start to form a soft smile on your face.

"That sounds good. Let's go."

You suggested and stood up from the dry grass before hedids the same. You started to lead the way as you two fall silent yet again.

The two of you soon arrive at the lake you spotted earlier. It was rather small, but looked beautiful with the blooming lilipads floating at the edges of the lake.

You beam a smile as you eagerly run towards the lake with Legend in tow.

"Hey! What are you doing?"

He asked out of confusion as he saw you in front of the lake, taking off your footwear and rolling up both of the pant legs, making his cheeks flush just a little.

"I'm not gonna go to a lake just to sit there and do nothing!" You respond happily, feeling some new energy arrive before you walk into the cold water. It felt nice to finally let your feet breathe after hours and hours of walking. You turn around and look over at Legend.

"Come on! I didn't bring you here for nothing!" It seems like the refreshing water has boosted your spirits.

Legend slowly starts to approach you and gets as close as he can get without getting his shoes wet.

"Theres nothing in there, right?"

He asks cautiously as he eyes you from top to bottom, wondering how you can enjoy yourself this much because of some lake water.

"Im pretty sure its safe. Come on!" You wave off his concern quickly and look away awkwardly before you add "And also.. what I said earlier... I didn't actually mean that. I just spoke before thinking..."

You state in a more quiet tone and look back at him, still feeling embarrassed.

You hear him sigh before speaking firmly.

"It was quite the surprise, but it wasn't the end of the world, you know."

He speaks with his teasing yet pleasant undertone, giving you this strange but also somewhat comforting feeling all over again. It felt like your stomach was doing cartwheels, but you can't quite put your finger on it.

While zoning out with your own thoughts, you didn't seem to notice him joining you in the water, now standing next to you with the water almost reaching his knees.

You snap your head in his direction after noticing him. The close proximity sends both of you good shivers down your spine. You were only standing next to each other, yet it felt like you two were sharing a blanket this whole time.

Legend comes back to his senses first and clears his throat, making you snap back to reality.

"So? What now?" The Link next to you asks with one of his eyebrows slightly raised, his hip cocked out to the side in his usual manner.

"Uhm... I don't want to make this situation even weirder, but... How about we swim for a little?"

"In our clothes?"

His question sets you back a little. You clearly did not think this through.

"Uhm... Your choice..." You blurted out, scared what his reaction might be.

You nervously looked back at his face and noticd the cormer of his lips quiver, holding back his signature smirk. You knew that this meant that something was about to happen that would have a great impact on the both of you.

But before you knew it, he had walked back to the shore, starting to strip down all of his clothes while his back was facing you. He was definitely doing this on purpose, but you couldn't budge. It was like you're in a trance, hypnotized by his slim but oh so gorgeous body. You let your gaze travel all over his body, the nerves in your hands tingling as if you were touching his oh so delicate but well trained body. It was starting to feel arousing just by watching him.

After a few minutes of silence with the longing feeling of being near him growing, he turns around and faces you. You look up at his face, just his face. Nothing else. It took all of your strength to keep eye contact. You didn't want to look like a complete pervert.

You gulp before making your way to the shore, your gaze purely focused on the wet soil beneath your feet. You can feel Legend's seductive gaze burning into you with every step you take.

You slowly start to take off your own clothes. Not even the demon king himself in all his glory could get you to look at him.

After just a few minutes, you feel the cold air hitting every part of your now exposed body.

You hesitantly turn to face Legend, trying my hardest not to look. You can see Legend doing the same. His face was bright red with the tips of his pointy ears a rosy pink as he was trying his best not to look down.

You decide to take a deep breath before making the first step, which means slowly walking into the water. You've already gone as far as undressing right next to each other, so there's no turning back now. This shouldn't be to hard, right?

Legend soon follows you, admiring your form from behind, not being able to keep his eyes off of you, especially your arse he's definetly an ass man, even though he really doesn't want to seem like a complete asshole haha get it?

Soon enough, both of your bodies are submerged in the water, giving you that relaxing feeling yet again, but you still find yourself being very cautious of what you're doing. You don't want to embarrass yourself in front of him again, do you?

You smile a little as you look at him, trying to make this situation less awkward. To your surprise, he flashes back a small smile that made your heart melt, even in the chilling cold water.

"... Is this too weird?"

You ask as you try to start a conversation in this dead silence.

"... It's good."

"Good? Really?"

"Yeah."

You were surprised at how calm Legend actually was in this situation. You didn't even think that he would ever like Skinny dipping with someone. It was quite the experience.

The two of you eventually got into a nice and lively conversation. It was nice talking to Legend like this, seeing his adorable and slightly crooked smile, the way he holds himself when standing, and so much more. It seemed like Legend was moving closer and closer to you while the conversation was still going.

After some time, he was standing right in front of you, his perfect body right before your very eyes, invading your personal space bubble, but you didn't care as long as it's him.

The conversation suddenly stops as both of you look into each other eyes, just zoning out as the two of you stare at each other. It felt like all the other sounds were being drowned out, only hearing each others breathing.

You were so hypnotized by each other, leaning closer... and closer... and closer–

Someone suddenly yelled out to the both of you, which made you and Legend look up, only to see Twilight calling you and Legend from near the shore with his lively southern accent.

"Come on ya' two love birds! Enough bein' horny and get to camp! Dinners ready!"

Twilight yells out and chuckles a little. He always knew that there was something going to happen between you two just by seeing how you would look at each other without ever even having a proper conversation.

Both of you look away out of embarrassment until Twilight dissappears into the woods again. You turn back to Legend and get all your courage together before giving him a peck on his cheek before scurrying out of the water, like it's boiling hot.

Legend watches you run out of the water, his dominant hand resting on his still warm cheek from your kiss, compeltely stunned.

He quickly ran after you after coming back to his senses but still tries not to look like he already misses your attention.

The both of you quickly throw your clothes on and hurry back to the others.

Both of you barely talked while on your way back. Just before exiting the woods to reach the small camp the Chain has made, Legend unexpectedly turns to you and returns the favor, kissing you on the cheek before running to his sleeping bag with his now iconic red face.

All of the other Links stare at him and then you with a cocky smirk. Looks like the wolf boy snitched on the both of you.
