Hiii :] I apologize for the long ass confession but I js wanted to go on a rant about my current obsession over my lovely wife (there's a TLDR at the bottom btw)

Okay, I don't know where the idea of the Radiance being this elegant, composed, seductive (ew ew ew ew ew ew i hate that especially) god came from because realistically she would NOT be like that.

She has been sealed away for practically centuries at this point & this voided child is actively hunting her down while she hunts said child down as well. She lost everything to the Pale King & she's described as being full of rage & hatred for Hallownest for basically the entirety of its existence. There is no way she would be as collected as she's portrayed in fanon.

Nononono the Radiance would be absolutely deranged at this point, she is definitely unstable in the head. She wouldn't be singing sweet songs to citizens at this point, she would be actively ripping the dreams of her victims apart in sheer disgust that they would even think to join the Pale King's side, even if they didn't. She would be absolutely paranoid of everything remotely related to Hallownest because that wyrm tried to kill me by leaving me to be forgotten & using that void against me, of course they would too, given their alliance with him (even if said alliance doesn't exist) This is not elegance and grace this is a fucked up god that's been running on wrath & adrenaline for who knows how long now. This is a goddess that loved way too much & now that love combined with repulsion is actively eating away at her. This was once a benevolent god towards her people, & now she is a blinding light of destruction towards everything that tries to kill her, and everything that doesn't try to kill her.

ALSO, I also hate when people assume that because she's so fucked up now, she was always like that. The moths were described as pacifists & the seer says that the moths enjoyed worshipping her, so she was most likely a more peaceful god, until all ye Hallownest happened. I don't believe that moths left completely willingly (I mean who the fuck sees some random wyrm building a kingdom & decides to leave the god they worshipped for their entire lives, no one's that stupid realistically. Actually I know some people that are but that's not the point) I think the Pale King convinced the moths to seal her in order (is that an ultrakill reference) to be worshipped by as many people as possible.

TLDR: The Radiance wouldn't be as graceful as people portray her. Realistically she would've completely lost it like before she was sealed in the temple. She was also most likely more peaceful, until everything Hallownest came along.

Obviously I loooved all the time travel / canon divergence AUs hk fics. But this was mostly inspired by Rain World fics and... Attack on Titan. I told myself I shouldn't start more crossover stories, so instead I'm drawing a comic AU (I sound suspiciously like Undertale fandom years and years back, there were sooo many comics)

The story I have planned is short, but if I give up and finish the fic instead, at least there'll be some pages illustrated.

Yes I drew and painted this on paper, then I realized my handwriting is, um, an abomination. So yay, I spent time editing in some actual readable words.
