You can also see here a series of detail images of my original artwork illustrating the story of the discovery and birth of corn which incorporates original glyphs and symbols.

In the story Quetzalcoatl transforms into the ant, attempts to carry the mountain on his back, while the Lord of Maize sleeps, carries the grains of maize to the Teteo. Nanahuatzin helps Chicome Coatle, Seven Serpent, the goddess of maize, emerge from the mountain as the new-born corn.
