“The Tour de France is the biggest race of cycling, so yeah, to keep being on the top you need to do Tour de France… I think battling between me and Jonas is pushing each other, and always the Tour is the test — who is the better, no?, of that year. And I think I’ll keep on riding the Tour until I enjoy it, no? Once I don’t enjoy this stress anymore, maybe I hang up the bicycle in the garage or something.” (X)
