Austin Mayor Adler Just Declared That Austin Is Now A Safe Sancturary City For Trans And Gender Expansive
Austin Mayor Adler just declared that Austin is now a safe sancturary city for trans and gender expansive youth and their families.
The city of Austin will officially recognize March 9 as Transgender Youth and Family Safety Day.
Mayor Adler dedicated the proclamation to 11 year old trans youth Kai Shappley, who gained recognition for her fight against transphobic legislation in the Texas Lege last year.
