People who love cold weather are fucking weird. You like to freeze? You like to shiver?? You like when you take a step outside and the air stings your skin???

What do you guys mean? Of course Spear survived? He’s just off-screen resting. Getting 2nd-degree burns while fighting a vengeful fire demon really takes a lot out of you. Takes a lot of time to recover from that. He’s not as spry as he used to be. He and Mira, their daughter, and Fang with her kids all lived happy lives in their new home together. He found a home, he found a family. he’s fine, he found a place where he belongs, everything’s fine, alright. He had a happy ending, alright.

Primal: Alternate ending.

Watching the latest episode of Primal and watching Mira do The Thing™ and then realizing in the last ten seconds that this is the series finale

Sooo... how 'bout that Primal finale, huh? That... sure was an ending. Yep. It, uh, definitely ended.

Wow you guys, that primal ending was great wasn't it. I really loved that Mira's people accepted Spear as their own. And then they had a good month or two of cute romantic time together cuz that viking dude was still walking on water hundreds of miles away. Oh man and when her dad married them in their traditional way, so sweet. And then they had some good honey moon night, oowee I had to look away. Oh crap but then the Viking dude showed up the day after the wedding like a total jerk and him and Spear & Fang had such a cool well timed epic battle.

Damn and then Spear sacrificed himself and Mira cried trying to console him in his last moments with Fang and the babies. So sad had really had me going. But then flash forward to their awesome daughter and SURPRISE Spear survived. And now he's living peacefully besides the long lasting effects of his injuries because Mira and her people make sure he's taken care of. And he teaches his daughter everything he knows. Hell he even learns a few words over the years. And him, Mira, Fang and their kids all lived happily ever after.

Oh yeah that's definitely what happened. What a great finale☺️

Spear and Myra had a kid together! His legacy lives on! :*)

He is right, they are some of the best creature designs of all time and it’s delightful to hear a major filmmaker take the right kind of inspiration from that.

It’s a little silly though that other articles immediately tried to extrapolate “which” angel inspired the entity in Nope, and seem to have settled on just this one. Now, maybe this is the one that sticks out in Peele’s mind, maybe it’s one of his favorites, who knows, but I feel like non-creative people in journalism don’t actually know what “inspiration” means or how it works and assume it’s always going to be some hidden 1:1 reference to a specific thing, rather than something that just aesthetically follows from and builds on a generalization of the source material.

Ramiel has more in common with Jean Jacket if I had to narrow it down, but none of them have enough in common with Jean Jacket to be “the” inspiration!
