Ok I need to write this experience down because I'm going to explode, so here I am:

So there is me, poor innocent and ferral, in erasmus encountering another motorsport fan in the wild and there is that instant connection. We start to talk about F1 ( she likes redbull and my italian heart is bleeding but I can accept that) and I casually mention that I'm into motoGP and she tells me that she follows it aswell, cue me practically hugging her because I know exactly one other person my age that still follows motoGP. So it was all dandy and cute so to test the waters even more I asked what she thought about sepang 2015 ( we are the same age so I assumed she saw it as well ) and what did she respond: "eh I don't really care much about it, just some drama to be more seen".

My heart was in shambles. I couldn't think. My mind was blank and too full at the same time. WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T CARE MUCH ABOUT SOMETHING THAT IS STILL SHAPING THE SPORT 1O FUCKING YEARS LATER. IT'S THE HOLLY SCRIPTURE AND YOU ARE WALKING ALL OVER IT.

I didn't think it was possible for people to not understand the cultural significance of the divorce that rosquez had in 2015 but here I am please help.

The biggest problem right now is that I am a Marc Marquez lover but Valentino Rossi is just so goddamn charming that I can’t help but like him. I think he’s vaguely deranged and I for sure believe that he was the problem with the whole thing with Marc, but I can’t help but smile every time I see him.

I understand you Marc and your inability to truly get angry about the whole thing. If my evil rival was also Valentino I too would twirl my hair and say he probably doesn’t mean it. Stupid charming asshole.
