Tell us one weird fact about yourself
"I have a terrible sweet tooth."

Blake felt nervous, on edge, knowing Leo was coming over so they were likely going to be having a pretty serious conversation imminently. She’d sprung the information of new found fatherhood on him just moments before his daughter had actually been born which hadn’t left long for him to process the information before she’d arrived. One look at the baby’s little face you could tell the man had been utterly smitten but that didn’t mean there was room for his feelings towards her mother to be somewhat different. If nothing else Blake was relived beyond belief that Leo seemed to want an active role in his daughter’s life but he still had a wife to think about, a whole other life he’d been leading before it had been turned upside down. It left Blake not knowing how things were going to pan out which was….unnerving. Especially for a new mom who’s hormones and anxiety were at an all time high as it was.
Cradling Mira in her arms wrapped in a hand knitted pink and white blanket that had been a gift from a long time client she whispered to her daughter under her breath, bouncing gently from one foot to the other in a soothing fashion. “Hi beautiful girl, is your daddy going to come and see you? He is. He’s going to come and give you cuddles soon…he’s going to come and give his special baby lots of cuddles…” the knock on the door what brought her out of the little bubble she had contained herself in to not spin out entirely thinking of the various directions the next couple of hours could go in.
Using a free hand, the one not supporting her little bundle, Blake pulled open the door with a sweet smile. Warmth all over her features because it was just in her nature to be as welcoming as humanly possible whenever someone came over to her home, plus she had no ill will towards Leo. If anything she had some significant making up to do. “Hey, you made it. Come on in, we were just talking about you.” Her voice was a soft even tone not wanting to startle Mira with a sudden loud noise when she seemed so content finally. In the wake of a bit of a screaming fit that had only ended about a quarter of an hour ago, she’d wanting to be held and rocked, which was what her mother was now of course doing.
“Did you want a drink?”
-
Leo’s head was a brewing storm as he had made his way over here. But the sight of the mother of his child with their baby, completely cleared his head. Life had made sense when he saw his miracle. He saw his purpose in every bit of his daughter. It had became his purpose to protect, love, and care for their Mira. He simply stared at his tiny beautiful daughter before reacting to Blake’s words.
“Nah, no drink, but I got you your favorite pasta from that bougie place you like.” Leo said lifting up the branded paper bag. His eyes rolled at the word he used to describe the place, but forty something dollars for a pasta dish was indeed bougie. But he spend the pretty penny to entice her to sit down and actually eat something hearty.Â
Now Leo was no stranger to Blake and Reece’s apartment, if anything he was probably albeit too comfortable as he moved further into the place. He set the bag down on the kitchen counter after shutting the door behind him, gently. And then his eyes happily set on their baby girl in Blake’s arms. He closed the space between him and Blake, with their baby in the middle. It made him smile so wide when Mira’s big eyes went from Blake’s face to his. He couldn’t help but melt. “Hi Mira,” he cooed, “Were you talking shit about daddy with mommy?” Leo asked as a joke but then quickly realized that these weren’t the type of jokes that he should make around or with his child. “Shit, sorry, shit.” Leo stammered as he quickly meant to take his joke back, he looked frustrated with himself as he gave up and just covered his mouth with both hands. His eyes wide and apologetic. The new father was obviously still adjusting and clearly believed he should be the topic of a verbal smackdown.Â
Is there anyone out there? Cause it's getting harder and harder to breathe

Her heart was hammering already, even before he whispered her name. He said it like a magic spell, like a whispered wish, like a… prayer. In those four small syllables she heard him asking for the world. And despite herself, she knew she’d give it to him.
She wasn’t surprised that he’d kissed her - she knew his heart well enough to have heard him ask - but she was surprised to find herself kissing him back. Pulling him close. She realized now that she’d been wanting to touch him all night, settling for fixing his hair and eating his food, when what she’d really wanted was this.
This.
She kissed him with a passion she hadn’t remembered she was capable of, but it came back to her easily now. Everything came back now. The body she’d long since memorized. This feeling, like lightning. And the knowledge of how completely and absolutely they’d always been able to overthrow each other.
Because, unlike with anyone else, with each other, they’d willingly given their power up, placing it in the other’s hands.
She could feel that happening now, and that’s what finally woke her. She couldn’t do this. She wasn’t the girl she’d been. She needed to keep her power now, because she had someone at home who needed her to have it. And Leo did, too.
She pulled away, maybe too slowly, and shook her head as she caught her breath.
“I have to… leave…” she whispered.
-
It shouldn’t have surprised but it did… the familiar nip and pressure that was her kiss was his again. she tasted just as sweet as he remembered. he couldn’t believe it. it made him even more responsive, more present to take all that she had bestowed upon him. When she reached out to him, he did too, holding her face to bring her closer. He had completely lost all thoughts that didn’t surround her.
a pathetic exhale left his throat when her mouth left his. his mind instantly crying out for more. More of what was once his. He pulled away as slowly as she did. His eyes fluttered open to look at the beautiful flush on her cheeks and lips. Hearing her whisper had knocked him out of haven that was created between their mouths.
“Don’t leave, stay… please.” his eyes heavy on hers, wide with longing. he swallowed, trying not to let his pride keep him from saying how he really felt. He wanted her, and he wanted to tell her this. He wanted to confess his love and win her all over again. But reality and fear cooked its’ way back to the forefront of his mind. She had left him before in a situation that was far worse than spilled popcorn. She had left him with scars that he was forced to cope with. Still, somehow, the notion of her leaving and him not seeing her again was far worse. “I don’t know when I’ll see you again.” His voice was coated in vulnerability as her kiss had brought all his emotions to the surface.

Xavier had a head start getting ready for pride. He was swaying around the loft with a small diamond patterned glass of bourbon. He still had yet to even pick out what he wanted to wear. Just about everything in this wardrobe would be great for pride if it wasn’t so damn hot out.
He still had plenty others, but that was for Leo to help decide with. All else failed, he’d pick out a pair of shorts, a quick top, and throw some kind of rainbow smear on his face and call it a day. Even at his messiest, he was an artiste.
So for now, he was in a silk robe with a pair of bamboo cotton lounge pants flowing from side to side as he moved with the music. Answering the door to Leo, he just let him walk in as he sipped on his drink, humming along with the soothing sounds of Fleetwood Mac in the background.
-
“Well, happy pride to you, Bhandari.” Leo greeted with a smirk upon his lips as he closed the door behind him. He will never be unamused by anything his best friend did. Even if it was just letting him without a word. Leo, being a cis-white male and ally had on just about the most basic outfit ever for the festivites. He had chosen a white tank top that showed his arms’ muscle definition as it did his chest hair. He addition to a baseball cap was donning long typical shorts that kissed his knees and did nothing for his legs. He walked further into the luxurious space, following Xav, and was quick to catch Dreams playing in the background. “Are you going to share?” he asked, his dark eyes zeroing in on dark liquor in his friend’s glass.
what's your favorite kind of cheese?
"Mozzarella," he answered confidently. "If anyone names any other cheese besides cheddar cheese, they're lying or they're a Brown."

Blake felt like she had whiplash with he way Leo’s mood towards her seemed to change as he heard there was no other man in the picture. Eyes widening as he pushed his way back towards her almost toppling other people in the process, he sounded genuinely concerned for her. How that might change if he knew the reason she was doing it on her own was because she hadn’t told him that he was the other party involved. “I…yes…well no not all by myself I have friends and stuff that are helping out but..” She trailed off, looking down at their hands as he took hold of them, unable to stop herself from grasping them back. In an ideal world the two of them would be doing this together, as parents to their baby, but he had a wife so this was likely as close as that little dream could come to being a reality.
“Leo…you don’t have to do that.” The baker murmured as she looked up at him, feeling a wave of emotion coming over her. If only this could be how the two of them were as a genuine couple. God that would make her so happy. “You have your…everything else to be dealing with. You don’t need to be dealing with me on top of that.” His wife, the unspoken word was wife.An the issue was she wanted him to stand by her side through this, she wouldn’t have been with him in the first place if she didn’t feel something real and deep for him.Â
-
Leo felt her smooth hands began to take hold of his, and this caused his ego to stir in him. He hadn’t totally lost her affection like he thought. She was holding onto his hands with the same warmth she had months ago. He listened to her and shook his head at her reasonings. “But I want to. I want to be one of those friends that are helping you out. Don’t keep me from being one of them.” He pleaded, and suddenly his desire to help became a way to weasle himself back into her life. He did wanna be there for her, she looked so helpless, but it was such a perk to have access to her again.Â
“Hey, relax,” he nearly cooed. “I’ve made time for you before, and you’re not something to deal with Blake.” He said closing the space so it was just her baby bump between them. But his eyes never left her beautiful face. "I’ll do what I can for you.” He said, his words coming out like a lover’s promise but he was also establishing his boundaries. He was going to be a good friend for her within reason. He didn’t want the responsibility of raising a kid that’s for sure.Â
