No but the depressing thing about PotP was that Beef was not stupid. He wasn't some selfish cash-grab like everyone else. He knew Winslow's music had value and was out of his range and he was reluctant to change it. He saw the signs long before anyone else did. He knew his performance was doomed. He tried so hard to stay alive.

And the saddest part? He and Winslow could've gotten along. They were both musicians determined to genuinely make good music and they both suffered under Swan's influence. But Swan pit them against each other, because alone they were easily controllable, and together they would have the resources and emotional strength to bring his empire to it's knees.

I don't really know where I'm going with this but what I'm trying to say is that despite being framed as a silly stereotypical character, Beef has just as much depth as Winslow and is just as much of a tragic character. The only difference between them is that Winslow lost his conscience and Beef did not.

I never knew about red flags and because I missed a whole lot of them I became involved with someone controlling and abusive. And it didn't end well.

Some of you all need to learn what "red flag" means

It does not mean that if a person does a single thing thats considered a "red flag" they an evil abuser

The reason it's a red flag is because it could be part of a larger pattern of abusive behaviour

A red flag happens and you mentally take note and see how they react to being called on their bad behaviour and if they do more red flags

Everyone is "problematic" but we are also all growing individuals with the capacity to learn

You will have said and done things you aren't proud of in your life. That doesn't make you evil or bad because you did something once that is a "red flag"

Red flags and green flags are little indications of someone's behaviour. If a person ends up with more red flags then green and isn't willing or trying to better themselves... thats when you get concerned. Not when your friend has a bad day and snaps at you only to apologise later.
