So, I did another one. The 2025 F1 Season Beginner's Guide. Genuinely honoured that a few people requested it and sorry for all the mistakes I've missed. Please enjoy the many recycled jokes from last year and the 2025 exclusive slide "Paddock Pets".
Important! They are ALL FRIENDS!
Most of the time they’re just happy to get on with their business around humans. Sometimes they get a little too curious, usually after a minute they’ll realise you’re not food or a good place to sit, but if they bother you then it’s best to just move away.
Remember they sting to defend themselves or their nest, and from their point of view humans are gigantic, unpredictable and potentially very dangerous creatures.
It’s understandable if you’re scared of them, but please don’t say they’re evil!
Love this show to much not to try my very best to help it. In the words if my mother: If your hair had been red, you would have believed you were Anne yourself.
Okay okay i know ive shouted about this before but we keep our fandom active and LIVELY if we gonna get a season 4

When you come up with an awsome title, but you have no story to go with it, and no mind to come up with one.
I made this at work. I’m weak. I’m trash.

Books should never be banned
The sign of high quality is the fact the book was banned by the government. Trash literature NEVER EVER had any troubles with the law.
So yesterday I binged the entire netflix series The Society. And I’ll admit I enjoyed it. To some extent.
But it was very far from perfect.
Here are some of the things I couldn’t see past with this show:
1) The actors. Some of them were quite good. As always Sean Berdy (mah boi) did a great job. Also Toby Wallace was pretty good. But here’s the thing. It wasn’t really their acting that made me question why they had been cast: it was their apparances. It legit took me three episodes to understand who was Elle and who was Allie. At one point Kelly and Cassandra was in that same mix. Also Harry and Campbell was a problem to tell apart at first. And who is Gwen and who is Lexie? I just don’t get why they cast so many people who look so similar. Also, they’re mostly white...
2) The caracter introductions. Honestly I didn’t get a single name the first time everyone was introduced. I didn’t understand that the name of the Becca caracter was Becca until very far along in the story. Same goes for Sam, Bean, Gordie, and a whole lot of others. Still dont know all the footballplayers (garde members I guess)
3) It’s a copy of other stories. Michael Grants GONE book series is on of my favourite series but this was exactly the same only that the kids doesn’t have superpowers and they don’t dissaper when they turn 16, I think? Also the sparticle mystery is very similar in idea. Very good consept, not so original. But I’m going let it slide because GONE has never been turned into movies and Sparticle mystery is for kids.
4) Netflix did a shit job at promotion this show. This is not that shows fault, but netflix is really out here puking out series after series and never promoting them! So many good series are going to waste. The earliest promotion I could find was a short trailer on Netflix’ Instagram from April 4th... they do very little for their shows.
5) The start was kind of slow, I guess? I wasn’t fully intrigued with the series until the end of episode two. Before that it was all a little slow.
There’s probably more, but this is what I’ve got so far.
Good things:
1) Survive first, find a way home later. I actually Liked that this was how they did it. It felt real how they made everyone react to stuff
2) Killing people who seemed important at first. See Emily and Cassandra. Not a lot of shows do this so I appriciate it.
3) Defying stereotypes. The footballguys were legit nice people (at least in the start), like sure they were teenageboys who said stupid things but they were also very nice. Kelly and Helena, the popular girls, and cheerleader, were also very nice and kept putting others before themselves. I Liked that
4) I got season 1 of the 100 vibes from this. And since I love the 100 and Allie reminded me of Clarke, I really thought it was cool. Young people just trying to survive is a cool trope and I love it.
5) Also having a gay character who has a disability but doesn’t get bullied for it? We stan. And I love how it was just a fact that Sam was deaf and it didn’t create any problems. Even Campbell used sign language to Sam even though he hated him. And Grizz was the cutest with his trying so hard to impress Sam. It was adorable.
6) Good friendships. Becca and Sam were such a healthy boy/girl friendship. And so was Bean/Gordie, and Helena/Allie quickly became a good friendship for me. And even Grizz and that girl from the camping (Gwen? Who knows), when he said he was gay and she finished trying, they became friends. Will and Allie were also super supportive when they werent hitting on each other or avoiding each other.
In short: I want a season two, because I want to know what happened to them, but I want them to change a few things. Maybe Elle or Allie can get some coloured streaks in her hair so we can tell them apart? Also a lot is wrong with this, but some stuff was good. Besides that, I think everyone should give watching it a try.
Not only that! It was proven that the people who lived there were middle class people, with good jobs and great communities. The area was even multicultural and people of different races attended school and church together, which was unheard of anywhere else in America at the time! But the upper class of Manhatten still wanted their park. VOX made a super informative video on the subject, which I recomend everyone to watch:

Seneca Village. Ever heard of it? Probably not, because now it’s known as Central Park. 200 some odd years ago, freed African American slaves FINALLY got land of their own. They built schools, churches, parks for children, and it was quite the thriving little community. Until it was bulldozed. Houses destroyed, community ripped to shreds, churches/schools demolished. To make a park. How I never learned about this ridiculous shit in school is beyond me.

People remembered to wear their facemasks and keep their distance as much as possible, so that Norway could continue the incredible low amount of people who are sick with covid-19.

Norwegian celebrity Tinashe Williamson was moved to tears by the support. «I’m proud to be Norwegian» she said, as she protested with her daughter (10) and thousands of others in Oslo.

Thousands gathered outside the parlament building in Oslo, despite the government saying that no more than 50 people could come to the protest.

Heritier Victorious Kisamu (6) was the first to go down on one knee in Bergen. Soon the rest of the protestors joined him to show their support for Black Lives Matter.
