Third and final piece of Message Received (See my fic-list for parts one and two) not exactly what I’d had planned, maybe not what any of you wanted, but I hope you like it anywayyyy….This wasn’t even what I had planned to post lol but eh I think this was more anticipated.

Ship: Klance (Pff) now with some previous Jaith (And if ya’ll hate James you can shush, Jaith as exes who ended amicably will always be one of my favorite things so just shush up.) Where we left off: Keith had responded to Lance’s accidental phone sex with an extremely purposeful sex tape. Lance is now on his way to have at the guy he apparently could have had from the get go.

It’s one thing, Lance figures, to punch an address into his uber app so that he doesn’t have to think about anything but Keith until he gets to his apartment. It’s another thing entirely to think of nothing but Keith and not get a hard on in said uber drivers back seat.

And even better to grow so incredibly anxious back there when he realizes that Keith not only lives off campus but a way off campus. Like— away, a way.

It’s twenty minutes before Lance recognizes Keith’s bike in a parking lot and knows he’s finally getting close. The uber driver shoots him a look.

“Man, try not to drool on my seats will you,” he scoffed.

Lance rolled his eyes and leaned his forehead against the window glass, his leg bouncing nervously.

“I have been a perfect gentleman James, don’t give me that shit.”

Keith’s nose wrinkles. “It’s kinda hard not to think that way, though.” He looks away. Then back to Shiro’s eyes. “Hey. Hey, Shiro.”

“Yes?” Shiro strokes Keith’s cheeks. Even his prosthetic, with all its flat metallic surfaces, feels calming.

Keith’s mouth twitches. “We don’t have to- to- do anything or decide anything but I just.” Keith bites his lip. Instead of saying it out loud, he gets on his tip-toes and leans closer.

“Oh,” says Shiro. Pleased, low.

“Shush,” says Keith and then their lips meet, complete with all the fireworks and racing hearts and clammy palms Keith has come to expect with crushes and love and like.
