So I'm a huge tmnt fan but I'm also going through maze runner brain rott at the moment and I've been thinking abt what animals newtmas (and other characters) would be if they got mutated.

I think

-Thomas would be a racoon. Why you may ask?

Raccoons are surprisingly intelligent and they also happen to be extremely curious and persistent creatures, features I think that fit Thomas pretty well

-Newt would be hmm let's see... a wolf. Again why?

It has to do with how wolves are devoted to family and are usually caring and playful :)

Additional:

-Minho is probably and eagle.

Eagles are known for being fearless and never giving up no matter the size of their prey, they're also a symbol of leadership!

Honestly I was planning on drawing some sonya X Harriet when I realised "yeah nah I'm 2 tired for this" so I ended up quickly putting this harriet drawing together l! I honestly didn't know whether I wanted to draw her movie or book design so I just ended up bailing and drawing her how I envisioned her during like 90% of my stay in the fandom lol

TMNT Legends has go me talking like the bad guys in the show. I’m always going on about how I need more mutagen and how I’m disappointed that the mutagen isn’t ready yet and how I need to find more mutagen at any cost.

-Maze runner plot where- an Alt Wicked has figured out the multi verse and is doing smth very risky!? (Maybe like merge their universe with a universe that doesn't have the flare?)

And basically

The Canon verse finds out and has to stop them and they team up with an Alt universe where instead of Newt dying it was Thomas (Thomas died for newt in that universe for more angst hehe)

And maybe also in that universe Thomas sacrificed himself and went to the glade and it was actually Newt who started all the events that led to them escaping the glade?? I hope you're getting what I'm going on about rn haha.But it was still Thomas who helped build the mazes and stuff in this universe!

And for even MORE angst potentially it was Minho who got stung and died in that universe and alby was the "leader"

Imagine newtmas trauma dumping about each others deaths lol!

I guess it's kinda obvious to say Leo & Raph because that's everyone's favorite, but there's a reason for that! I also like Raph & Jenny because she teases him.

I imagine it's a lot of DIY clothes, taking existing clothes and tailoring them to fit an individual mutant's body depending on if they have tails, wings, etc.

I can't imagine Koya would ever allow herself to be romantic in the traditional sense, she'd do something like she'd go up to Leo and be like "WE ARE NOW A COUPLE" and then storm off without explanation, leaving Leo bewildered.

For other character dynamics, I had a plan for more Leo & Casey after the one fight club issue, they were going to be palling around and developing their friendship while Raph and Casey were on the outs, but it never happened. :( That's probably my big one I wish I could have done. I also would've loved to explore Hob and the Weasels more, and Hob in general, how his views on human-born mutants vs animal-born mutants change, how he comes to care about the Weasels even though they used to be human and how he regrets what he's done to them, how he deals with the paperwork that results from Mutant Town and how he kinda unintentionally creates problems for himself and bites off more than he can chew. I really wanted the Turtles and Hob to finally come to a more formal, if uneasy, truce.

I can say that this thought came to me yesterday while I was listening to Bigmouth Strikes Again by The Smiths and when are the turtles not in my head? And then I thought how Leo’s character sort of relates to this song and then kablamo this piece was created
