It's officially been a year since I made this blog <3

I've been having some art block and been sick a lot, so here's a wip. It's the first panel of a four panel plan I have where Dazai is a rude little beast and steals Chuuya's hat.

Thinking about Dazai's wake up call slap for Atsushi and how it could reflect both his past self who never wanted to live and his curiosity in Chuuya who wasn't 'supposed to exist' and yet fought to live against those odds

I know there's mixed feelings from some on this scene, but it's important as this is Dazai trying to snap Atsushi out of a downward spiral of self loathing. This is one of the first times he's been truly serious and brutally honest as a mentor to him.

He could probably see himself as one who was in that pit when he was that age and genuinely wanted Atsushi to understand that it's worth existing.
