I love super fussy caretakers so much. As soon as their partner starts coming down with the slightest cold symptoms, they’re already doting on them with tea, soup, backrubs, and wrapping them in blankets.

If the sickie still has to go to work or school, the caretaker is insistent about them wearing lots of warm layers and sends them off with a travel mug of tea and slips extra soft tissues into their pocket.

And when the sickie comes home later, tired and their cold much worse, their partner blesses all their stuffy sneezes sympathetically and cuddles them on the couch for the rest of the night, with lots of blankets and soup. 💜

“oh your poor thing” is such a versatile statement and it makes me melt in any situation

feeling for a fever and their forehead is really warm? “oh you poor thing, you have a fever”

they just sneezed and it sounded miserable/tired/wet? “oh you poor thing, need any tissues?”

or, even better, they just got finished with a coughing fit but they have to sneeze a few times “oh you poor thing, you must feel misreable/you must be really sick”

she’s got claws!

I have a lot of mixed thoughts about Jaune and Vi's relationship, but that scene at the beginning of chapter 3 where Leif and Kabbu give Vi this little speech is so sweet. I love it enough to spend hours upon hours transforming it into a comic.
