I have a Toon x Mobster headcannon that i havent seen yet? but i strongly HC that Jack is extremely hard to get a good photo of in universe like to a CRYPTID level of un-photogenic, maybe something to do with his toon-ness or just his him-ness but it is just impossible to get a good photo of this man!! rival mobs try to get a photo of him to show as their target but its always blurry or smudged in a silly way, his license photo always has something comedic happen so it doesn't show his face (but he gets around it anyway- toon luck) the only one whos ever been able to get a clear photo is his mom, so the rival mob tries to break into her house to grab a single photo of him and she just FOLDS them on the spot so now these full on mobsters have a dart board with a shitty drawing of Jack Desmond in the center (Toon x Mobster is a series that belongs to @blackkatdraws btw, be sure to check out their stuff!!)

i think u can tell as this progressed i became lazier and stopped trying to make it canon style looking

like he feeds of praise and being criticized is like twisting a knife in his gut, but he also doesn’t care about how other actually feel about his game, as long as they talk about how amazing he is

and the skip button fucking destroys him because of this, breaks him down to a point where interaction alone is more rewarding that praise normally. worst of all is that he back himself into a corner, a cold, empty corner, all because he wanted to be adored by the masses

and i think cookie9 saying “they should add a skip button” is what made the narrator do this. with the other reviews, they give no “this would make it better”, only criticism. but with cookie9, the narrator knows exactly what they want, he knows what would make them like him.

with all the other reviews, he defends himself, he doesn’t want to put in the work of think what would make them like me? but cookie9 gives that to him directly, makes it easy

he doesnt actually want to change his game to make is appetizing to everyone, he just want everyone to like it. and a skip button wouldn’t change much, would it?

assign a key to it, that’s small and unobtrusive! his game is still the same and cookie9 will surely edit their review saying how much they adore the new change!
