when it’s really bad again and it’s still way better than it used to be but it’s still really bad. and you do all the right stuff and you try and try and it still really hurts but it’s working but it still hurts and you go see the beautiful majesty of nature and your soul is so close to being at peace but your mind is still in pain. and it’s better but it’s still bad. and the sun is setting.
turnabout sisters is so insane in hindsight. you are miles edgeworth. mia fey, the first defense attorney you ever went against, has been murdered and you are prosecuting her little sister for the crime. not only are you intrinsically tied to her because of the circumstances surrounding your father’s death but you both watched a man kill himself your first time in court. you think this case could not be more emotionally charged. then you walk into court the day of the trial and who do you see on the defense? your fucking childhood best friend who you haven’t seen in 15 years.

Hot take?
Yes I do agree with people that Nero would be upset that Dante didn’t tell him they were related but I firmly believe he’d be more understanding once Dante explains why he did it (because it’s not for shits and giggles he genuinely believed Nero was safer without knowing + he didn’t think Nero would believe him) I’m just really tired of the fandom villainizing Dante for this tbh. Did he make the right decision? No, I don’t think so and Nero deserved to know but his mindset was reasonable considering he’s used to losing people he cares about just because they’re associated with him.
i hate this weird trend in fandom where subtext is seen as a Bad Thing and is only done if the creators are too cowardly to commit to showing something. i hate to break it to you but nuance and layers are what make stories interesting, if you have no subtext then you have a very flat story
