“Let her go” Yelena’s eyes fall shut the moment she hears her voice. Its been close to two months since she heard it last. She opens her eyes and looks her assailant dead in the eye. “Don’t listen to her, do what you came here to do.” She chokes through the crushing of her throat. “Bucky, drop her, don’t test me” Kate growls and Yelena wheezes when Bucky closes his vibranium hand tighter around her neck. “She’s a liability.” Bucky answers, short and efficient as ever, cold, detached. A soldier, like Yelena. “I swear to god, I will shoot an arrow through your head,” Kate roars and Bucky doesn’t even flinch. “She’s a liability, Bishop.” He says again, short, and Yelena starts seeing black spots obscuring her vision. “No. She’s my wife.”

The ace community getting mad about fans shipping Yelena with people doesn’t make any sense.

Do I think that Marvel should keep Yelena’s sexuality the same as it is in the comics? Absolutely.

Everyone deserves representation, but to attack people because they ship Yelena with Kate or with Bucky (for some reason) is completely unnecessary.

It’s absolutely no different than people shipping Tony and Steve or Sam and Bucky or Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy or literally Clint and Natasha even though that man is MARRIED

That’s what shipping is for, to create an extra layer that’s enjoyable for everyone as something that goes deeper than just the plot.

It doesn’t matter because it’s Not. Real.

It’s not doing anything to erase anyone’s identity outside of the show or movie or book. It’s literally just some random people on the internet making something of their own.

I hope Yelena’s sexual identity remains true to the comics, but a lot of things about the MCU are not true to the comics and if Marvel decided to do what they pleased with Yelena, I highly HIGHLY doubt it will be because some fruits on the internet with names like @//katlenasupremacy said that their two fav girls should kiss-

Y'all are making this tag the worst. It's supposed to be fun. I get it, representation IS important, doesn't mean you need to rain on everyone else parade. Yeesh. So what if they ship Yelena with Kate. I get that in the COMICS Yelena is Aroace. You know what else was canon in the comics? Natasha and Clint being together. Things could change in the MCU. And if they don't stop f*ing gate keeping her. So what if people ship her with people? Whatever floats their boats. Give it a rest. They might make Yelena Aroace in the MCU as well. They may already have, if so more power to her. Either way people can ship characters with whoever the f*ck they want. The LGBT community is also known for shipping straight characters together. It's not always a sexuality thing it's a chemistry thing. Yes, Aroace characters are practically nonexistent, but that doesn't mean you need to sh*t on people who wish for something else. Let people ship who they want to ship, who cares? I'm sorry it feels like people are trying to erase Yelena's sexuality. It probably really sucks, and I'm sorry. But people are just trying to enjoy and have fun with this show and fandom. Stop attacking people, stop trying to make them feel like sh*t just for enjoying something.

Ever travelled through hyperspace for so long it makes you wanna fall in love with the enemy- They are just practising on their sparring pffft. Initially supposed to end in fluff but I wanted to add in the angst for fun because wolfwren,, also Shin is def the easily flustered one between the two and you cant change my mind.

Extra unfinished page: I actually did wanted to end this comic on a lightsaber fight following a talk based on that scene of Sabine trying to chase after Shin. Since there wasn't enough space sooo have at it, Im just gonna leave it here for now (planning to work on some Ahsoka and Sabine!!).
