hansung yu is such a bastard i adore him. he believes in equality and freedom and morality but also he helped enslave an irregular but also he ended up forging some comraderie with said irregular and helps said irregular wage a war. he saw evankhell bring upon massacres of fire and then follows her around battle to battle annoying her into doing better. he’s also terrified of her. they’re also besties. they also barely know each other. he never justifies himself and carries on like he knows he could never be wrong but also when people are mean to him he’s incredibly petty about it (rak getting compressed, “killing” the mouse in the nest game). he only drinks coffee in the shittiest form of coffee possible but with the decorum of tea ceremonies and he spends approx 90% of his day doing this instant coffee tea ceremony. he probably also does that out of spite. he knows everyone hates it and also knows everyone thinks he’s a bastard and he offers the coffee every time and never fuckin goes away. he only wears the finest robes possible when going out to fight, he dressed like a uni student in his regular days. man’s moral compass is a roulette wheel but it’s rigged to his whims.

Thinking about how Bam has been dehumanized multiple times by people and the system in Tower of God, only seeing him as a weapon or a monster. We even get from Rachel that his own mom saw him as a monster. And now his father is doing the exact same thing.

His parents only ever saw him as a vessel for revenge. They don’t care about Bam himself.

And the fact that this is happening in front of Khun and Endorsi, the two people who’ve purported Bam’s existence as his own is even more insane. They have to watch the one they love be puppeted around by a random ass man

i would kill for some more shibisu-wangnan interactions because their personalities are so similar - i.e. they’re both natural born leaders and the emotional glue that holds their respective teams together - but shibisu has a 200 iq and wangnan canonically can’t do basic math
