He does regain his memories at the end of spiderman two and accepts his fate as the pain all rushes to him at once. But it would be so interesting to see how the tentacles use otto to talk so much shit on humanity and very openly view Peter as an experiment. So the oc in question is a 11 year old named Polly who was a fan of Marvin for almost her whole life and so when he saw him in real life she did a ‘spell’ and Marvin played along

The catatonic spell is basically a switch spell but it switches the persons body with a cats body
