I’ve seen a lot of posts on my dash tonight about users who are threatening suicide, with other Tumblr members posting in effort to try to get ahold of them. I think you all should see this:
IF THERE IS EVER A TUMBLR USER WHO HAS POSTED A GOOD-BYE MESSAGE, SUICIDE NOTE, VIDEO, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS POST.
1. Scroll to the top of your dashboard.
2. See the circular question mark icon at the top? It’s the third one over from your home symbol. Click on that, and a screen similar to the one in the picture will come up.
3. Where you can type in questions, the box with the magnifying glass at the top, type in the word “suicide.”
4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, “Pass the URL of the blog on to us.”
5. Type in the user’s URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.
TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USER’S LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.
Reblog this to keep other users aware. Suicide isn’t a joke, and neither is someone’s life. If you didn’t know this, someone else may not, either. Pass it on.
Looking into Bucky breaching Ayo's trust in him
Ayo and Bucky share(shared?) a bond, maybe a friendship even. They trusted each other.
The wakandans helped Bucky get through decades of trauma when they absolutely did not have to. They put in their time and resources. Bucky trusted Ayo with his mind. Which is A BIG DEAL considering he did not trust his own mind. He trusted her enough to go through his trigger words with her because he knew she'd handle it if things went south. And she was gentle with him, and genuinely happy when he was finally free. It didn't seem like she considered it as just a job. She seemed just as relieved as he did. She's seen him go through the whole process of desensitization to those trigger words and she stayed by him to the very end.
Ayo trusted Bucky too. Ayo is Dora Milaje. Remember what Okoye said? Wakanda always comes first. Their duty to the country and their king always comes first. It is the purpose of their life. And Ayo had to deal with the guilt and disappointment of failing at that duty when her king was murdered. Now imagine how she would've felt when the man who killed her king was freed from imprisonment by this person that she trusted. How are some of you going to ignore that kind of disappointment? Because your favorite was momentarily hurt or because you genuinely cannot accept the fact that Ayo is capable of emotions? Have you never been let down or betrayed by a friend? Ever? That shit feels terrible. What bucky did, without prior notice, was essentially a fuck you to everything she and her job stands for. So her disappointment and anger toward bucky is 100% justified.
But she still gave him time. Why? Because she still trusted him. If he says it's a means to an end, then it probably is. She was patient with him when she absolutely didn't have to be considering the weight of the situation because she trusted him. So she gave him time.
Now the fight with walker? That's just that. A fight with Walker because the man just had to be the alpha dog in the room. Bucky and Sam engaged in the fight so that the Dora Milaje wouldn't kill him, because they very well could. The grace time they gave was up and they mean business, their focus was zemo. Walker was just an inconvenience.
My theory is that if it hadn't been for walker, bucky and ayo would've, without a doubt, had a civil conversation again. But everybody got involved in the fight. Yes, ayo yanking the arm out made me uncomfortable and yes, maybe bucky felt hurt/confused. Because I'm pretty sure there were other ways of disarming him instead of actually removing his arm off? It was invasive and unnecessary. But he didn't look betrayed, more so shocked. Shocked that that was possible at all and that was also when he realized he fucked up. And he steps back instantly. They're all warriors, all soldiers. Bucky is highly trained soldier and a skilled assassin who has decades worth of experience in combat. They're grown ass people who know how a fight works. There isn't much room for civility. And what ayo did was not to show him who's boss or anything like that (as much as all the jokes on here make it seem so). She did it out of anger and hurt. They were comrades who trusted each other and that trust was breached by bucky first. It was not her fault because she just used a failsafe that was there for extreme measure.
You shouldn't be dismissing Ayo's feelings and disappointment just because she's not bawling her eyes out about it. You can feel bad for bucky without babying him or ignoring his mistakes. For fucks sake, look at them as whole people/characters and not just good vs bad because everything in this show is gray.
Otis and Ruby are endgame ❤️😌
