it was a bad idea honestly. no scratch that, it was a TERRIBLE idea. the idea being of which is that you and the rin would go inside a haunted horror house at the local amusement park. (whose idea came from bachira, who claims that it’d be fun)

now here you were, scared out of your wits, trying to at least make it out alive out of this haunted horror house.

not that rin would admit it, but he was watching you in slight amusement whenever you’d bump into something and scream. to him, this attraction wasn’t even that scary to begin with. he too was forced to enter by his “friends” aka bachira and isagi who both claimed that they haven’t seen him crack a smile throughout the day they were in this amusement park. (which was bullshit as rin thinks)

“dear god.. what have i done to receive this punishment” you cry out, hands trembling as you and rin navigate through the creepy hallways. only to be greeted with another makeshift ghost at the end. of course, rin saw this coming and only huffs as a reaction. you on the other hand..

rin almost felt sorry for you at that point. he notices that your shoulders were trembling and your breath was shaky. were you crying?

“hey..” rin murmurs, standing next to you and thats when he heard your sniffles. ‘goddamn it’ rin thinks to himself. of course he’s the one who gets caught up in this type of situation. a situation that involves someone crying.

as much as rin sucks at comforting people, there’s only little to none he can do at the moment.

your hands were covering your eyes. this whole horror thing was already too much for your scared ass. you wanted this to be over with and beat the shit out of bachira who gave you the idea but you felt yourself stuck in the position you are now. until that is, you felt a tap on your shoulder. instantly you jumped and immediately latched onto the person next to you, which was rin

rin stands there stunned by the way you instinctively latched onto him, your arms wrapped around his torso and head buried in his chest to hide your face

“it’s me, c-calm down” rin stutters. he’s not used to this sort of intimate contact. he can feel his face burn. out of embarrassment? he does not know. all he knows is that he hopes you don’t note how fast and loud his heart was beating

“rin i can’t take it anymore!” you cry, burying your head deeper into his chest. rin panics on the inside. his head chanting ‘what the fuck do i do now’

the only logical way to get out of this was to simply, get moving with you literally sticking by his side. with a heavy sigh, he hesitantly wraps an arm around your shoulders and maneuver around the last corridors of the said horror house.

thankfully, that corridor you two were in was the last corridor before the exit so you guys made it out in no time. there outside waits isagi and bachira who were busy chitchatting amongst themselves about how you two were taking so long. to their surprise, they spot you in rin’s arms, coming out of the exit.

“we’re out, you can open your eyes now” rin says the moment you two step foot out of the attraction. almost immediately you opened your eyes. you don’t even notice the position you and rin were in. the only thing in your mind right now is to find bachira and to literally throttle him for his stupid idea.

“y/n-chan, rin-chan over here!” bachira waves, his face having a mischievous look to it. “i’m going to kill you!” you exclaimed, running after him.

isagi laughs at this while rin merely scoffs. “so did you two have fun?” isagi asks rin who was walking next to him. “what do you think?” rin says sarcastically, giving isagi a glare. only for the latter to give him a knowing look.

that catches your attention, and you look up at the first years. you tilt your head slightly, and yuuji hands you an envelope.

you gently take it from him, and the first thing you notice is “wifey” written on it then the doodle of satoru with his blindfold on. you feel your throat tighten, and your hands shake slightly.

you let out a small breath then shakily open the letter.

hey, honey!!

it first reads.

I feel like there is still much I didn’t tell you in our last meeting, so here I, your beautiful and handsome husband, am writing them down.

you swallow lightly, and a small smile appears on your face as you imagine satoru saying that, then you continue to the next line.

first, I changed all your computer passwords to variations of “satoruisthebest” at one point. your confusion was so cute!!

you quirk an eyebrow at the admission, but when you rack your brain, you remember that one day when you couldn’t log into your computer.

what you vividly remember was satoru being sat beside you the whole time, and now that you think about it. he was smiling so widely the entire time, letting out small chuckles every now and then. oh, that sneaky man.

“satoru, I am telling you it’s broken!”

“sweetheart, we spent over 2000$ on that. if it broke, then we could easily sue the company,” he chuckled, arm wrapping around your shoulder and pulling you closer.

second, there are times when I would tell megumi that you would be coming with me, then he would turn and leave me when he found out I was tricking him.

your eyes glance up at said boy who is sat across of you. he made it out alive, despite everything. he suffered so much, but he made it.

it makes you relieved, and you can imagine satoru being bloody proud of him and saying something along the lines of ‘you handed sukuna’s ass to him, very cool!’

no matter how much megumi had frowned and grimaced at satoru’s presence or antics. it rooted itself as something—safe and familiar.

you can’t count on your hands the times when you and satoru would visit the siblings, and nobody really said it, but these meetings did all of you a favor, a chance to kind of wind down. maybe act like death might actually not be looming tomorrow.

it feels like just yesterday when megumi would cling to you when he got really sad or nervous, after so much time spent getting comfortable with each other.

he grew up well, you think, eyes gliding to next.

third, I hid your uniform every two to three weeks, so you have to stay with me.

at that, your eyes widen a bit. satoru’s schedule was pretty packed, but he somehow managed to squeeze time for quality time between you two.

it tugged on your heartstrings, and you made sure he knew how much you appreciated it, not a single space on his face left without a kiss. however, finding out that he went out of his way to make you rest and stay.

satoru’s care really showed in his actions, and you feel like this is the biggest proof of it.

“satoru, have you seen my uniform?”

“nope! maybe, it is a sign to stay home today? you’ve been working so hard, wifey!”

you cupped his face, pulled him down to your height, and kisses his cheek, “you’ve been working harder, ‘toru. let me take off some of the load at least.”

“we could both stay!”

“you’re kidding, right?”

“I already told yaga; I miss you!”

you try to stop the reminiscing further and try to compose yourself before reading the rest.

fourth, I’m the one who kept adjusting the thermostat. I just wanted an excuse to cuddle.

a fond yet melancholy smile appears on your face. you kinda figured that one out. satoru’s favorite pastime was cuddling, so it’s no surprise that he would go out of his way to create the need for it even further.

add to that, once you went to get some green tea and saw him from the corner of your eye teleport to the thermostat, click something, then teleport back to bed.

you figured that the room being chilly that night was not an exception in the middle of july.

“babeeee, it’s so cold! let’s cuddle!”

“maybe the problem is with the thermostat?”

“I checked! I think cuddling is the best solution.”

you giggle as you recall the moment, one of many similar. your heart feels a bit lighter as you go through the letter. something satoru managed to always do even in person.

he would plaster sticky notes, get you trinkets, and even pull pranks on other just to see you smile. feeling more encouraged, you keep on reading the letter.

then you feel your chest constrict so tightly that you might just throw up.

fifth, I am really gonna fucking miss you.

you read the line over again, and you purse your lip in hopes of silencing any noise that may come out as you feel the lump in your throat return, even worse than before. your breathing starts getting more difficult.

your grip on the letter tightens, and you find yourself thinking back to the good times. memories of late nights spent in each other’s arms, thinking about everything and nothing at once.

hushed whispers of confessions and quiet giggles as you reminisced on your highschool days. tight hugs when recalling the sad moments and the departure of a certain someone.

“you know, y/n, I think we might just be made for each other,” he said one night. you hummed and looked him in the eyes.

“three am thoughts?”

“three am admissions,” he grins slightly, “I am made for you, and you’re made for me.”

you remember him pulling you closer and kissing your forehead, while you teased, “and what would you need little old me for, so much that I got made?”

he feigns thinking then closes his eyes, burying his face in your shoulder, “grounding me.”

I love you. I really do, but you should know that already, right?

your eyes drift down to the corner of the paper, and that is when you feel your tears start free-falling. there is drawn a chibi satoru besides a chibi you and between them is a heart.

the chibi satoru is giving yours a big smooch, while she laughs. you never thought that the day your jealousy burns would be because of drawings, and drawings of you and your own husband, nonetheless.

“but wow, gojo-sensei is shit at writing letters,” you hear nobara remark.

megumi responds with a small chuckle, “I am fine with mine.”

“what about you, y/n-sensei?—”

the trio becomes silent as you let out a sob. a watery smile makes its way up your face as you kiss the letter gently and murmur, “so shitty.”

By the seven, you hated that stupidly adorable smile that fatui harbinger had. Childe had always bugged you while you were painting outside in Liyue, he would take every chance to give you a startle. He would just laugh at you and grin like a dork whenever you scolded and huffed at him. You wished you could just shut him up but he’s attached to you like a dog. Though you would be lying if you said that you didn’t enjoy his company. Childe was a fun and easy person to talk to, he had interesting views and even more interesting stories. You found yourself painting more and more ideas based off of his stories.

You sighed, trying to mix the right color to get a good orange tone. Till you felt someone sneaking up on you, you turned your head around to find Childe with a now disappointed pout.

“You weren’t supposed to look!” Childe complained, but his frown was soon wiped away when he saw your painting. He threw an arm around your shoulder and looked closer at the painting like he usually did whenever you started a new piece, you rolled your eyes continuing to mix the color. “Comrade, is this me?” The ginger asked, tilting his head.

You gave him a confused glance before looking at your painting. It was a man who looked very similar to Childe, ocean like eyes and hair that matched his own. You were just painting whatever came to mind, you didn’t even mean to paint Childe. You blinked before pursing your lips in a line. Shit. You really did paint him. You opened your mouth to explain, but nothing came out. You could only sigh and chuckle a bit.

He laughed at your reaction and gave your back a pat. “I look amazing! Is this how you see me?” He smiled. “I’m flattered, to have such an amazingly skilled artist to paint me a portrait. I’m surprised I was on your mind.” You wanted to die of embarrassment, but it did make you question.

“This is impressive work! Maybe I should try my hand at painting, how hard can it be?”

So he starts noticing that indeed, you’re always there to see him off when he goes on expeditions but you keep your distance

Occasionally, when he walks past he’ll look at you and smirk

Next day, he gives you a little wave but you squeak and run and hide behind Donna

One day, you’re standing with Donna and waiting to see Kaeya but he doesn’t appear and you’re like, “Where is Master Kaeya? He’s not here yet…”

And suddenly you hear this voice to your right saying, “What do you mean?”

“He was supposed to be here…it’s already five minutes past…where is he??”

“Maybe something bad happened to him.”

“No way! Master Kaeya is so strong!”

“Oh?”

“Yeah!” But then you deadpan because you can’t outrule the possibility. “…By the beard of Barbatos! You’re right! What if something bad has happened to him?! I need to find Master Jean! Oh, Master Jeannnn!”

And you take off trying to run but suddenly you are grabbed by the back of the collar and pulled back; you look up and you’re like ACK! Kaeya????!!

There he stands, smirking at you

And he lets go of you and you’re left to stand in front of him, floundering around and looking sheepish. “Er…”

“What’s wrong, little kitten? Weren’t you looking for me just a minute ago? Here I am.”

Taking a step towards you, you take a step backwards.

“Er…” you squeak.

“What’s the matter? Cat got your tongue?” He says with a smirk.

He takes another step forwards and your back hits the wall, shaking as Kaeya looms over you, planting his hand by your head and reaching for your hair with his other hand, twirling some hair between his gloved fingers

You look up and his face is really close to yours; you can see the diamond in his eye. It's beautiful...

“I-I…*squeak*”

Kaeya chuckles as he brings your lock of hair to his lips.

Summary: You start collecting little nice slimes from your adventures, you can't help it, they're just too cute to be left behind in the wild all alone and sad. Anyway, your boyfriend starts to become jealous when you take care of your little army of slimes instead of him :(

The first night, Diluc found it so cute coming home to you sleeping on your shared bed, two slimes enjoying the warmth of your body, a hydro slime resting on your tummy, and a pyro slime nuzzling your cheek.

He did bring up the fact that the pyro one can burn you, but...

"Oh, Diluc. Burny here would never do that." You raised the little pyro slime up to his face, the blob looking at him all confused. "He's my little baby~" Then, you brought the little slime to your chest, your lover visibly perplexed that the slime's expression immediately turned happy from confusion.

The second night, there was three more slimes, which the red-haired man assumed to be triplets, since they were all geo slimes sleeping stacked up together just above your head.

And things happen, so now, there was a freaking mommy anemo slime sheltering her two babies with her wings. Andddd... They're sleeping on his side of the bed.

That same night though, you weren't asleep, you were singing a quiet song to your pets, watching as they all swayed side to side in perfect sync.

You hear a cough from behind you.

Following the sound, you see Diluc!

Awww, you were just thinking that Diluc would absolutely love seeing that you just thought the Slimies, that's what you started calling them, how to dance.

"'Luc, you're home! I wanted to show you something important!" You jumped off the bed, almost tripping at the process, before jumping into the arms of your lover.

Does Diluc want to be mad at you for letting slimes invade the bed? Yes.

Is he mad at you for letting slimes invade the bed? Hell no.

He loves you a little too much to be mad at you for having such a big, soft heart.

I mean, you took home an anemo slime and her children because when you looked at their eyes for the first time, you knew they needed help, and you would die of guilt if you just left them their in the wild.

Diluc especially isn't gonna be mad at you after you just pulled him a chair, presented the "Slimies" on the bed in front of him, sung in your beautiful voice whilst the slimes dance to the soft melodies.

"What do you think? Isn't it great?" You asked ever so enthusiastically, even clapping for your little slimes.

"Of course it was, darling. You don't sing very often, but when you do..." Diluc had stood up from his chair, walking closer to you before sitting next to you on the bed. He had gently took your hand in his. "It's the best." With that, he kissed the back of your hand.

The red haired man did love seeing the slight tint of pink on your cheeks.

"But, uhhh.... Where are we gonna sleep?"

So that was the fifth night, the slimes took one side of the bed.

Diluc laid on his back on the other, you on your stomach on top of him, hugging his form as you slept peacefully. It was a pretty cold night, he would be lying that he didn't love the feeling of your body against his.

"No naughty touchies, Diluc! The babies might wake up and see us!"

On the seventh day, you asked the Winery's staffs' help in creating a small bed that's big enough for the mommy anemo slime and her babies to sleep in beside your own bed.

Now you have both sides of the bed back to normal... sort of.

Diluc knows that look, that look on the pyro slime's small face as it was squished between your breasts.

The look of utter superiority.

Great, he can't touch you in that spot, because "the slimes will see" but it's okay for that little bugger to just squeeze his way between those pretty mounds?

That's unfair.

"Diluc! Burny would never do such a thing! He's the sweetest little angel in the world." You had scolded him when he told you about that.

You had taken your three little geos for a walk in the city and manage to find yourself in Angel's Share to visit your favorite person in the whole wide world.

Surprisingly, it was pretty empty, just a few people upstairs drinking with their buddies.

Diluc's eyes landed on the three blobs that you held to you upper body, his lips tightening at the sight of the geos nuzzling your soft chest.

Great, not them too.

Your tiny gasp brings his attention back to your face. "Diluc..."

You smiled teasingly at him.

"Are you jealous?" His face and ears instantly heat up, your expression was just like: <(￣︶￣)>

"N-No... It's not like I'm mad that they get to be so close to you and I can't----" The red haired man cursed himself, not realizing what he just said. It made you giggle.

You gently placed the geo triplets on the bar counter, going around so that you could enter behind the counter where he is.

"Come here, you big teddy bear." You wrapped your arms around him, his figure stammering down a little so his head rested on your chest.

"How does that feel?" Despite Diluc's distaste for affection in public, he admits that he probably wouldn't pull away even if a costumer walks through the door.

"Good..." His voice was muffled from being buried on your covered skin.

You both hear the front door of Angel's Share open.

"Uhh... Is this a bad time?" Both your face were red as Diluc's hair as the Cavalry Captain's voice comes from the doorway.

"Xiao..."

From the balcony of Wangshu Inn, he heard your whisper being carried by the wind.

Though you didn't seem distressed, Xiao felt worry run through him as he uses his power to look for you.

The situation is... a little less worrying than he thought.

"Can you help me get these little guys back to the Inn?" You had gestured downwards, directing his eyes to the big geo slime hiding behind your legs, with three other smaller slimes hiding behind the big slime.

The Yaksha had looked at you all confused. "Why?"

You frowned at him, putting your hands on your hips sternly. "Look at their eyes, Xiao. This geo slime family needs our help!"

From closer inspections, he definitely saw a few rough spikes and gashes on the mother slime, its facial expressions sad and begging, looking at you all hopeful.

Xiao looked back at your face...

Oh no, you had that puppy dog eyes again. You know he can't resist that.

And now you're both here, your delicate hands working on "healing" the mother slime's scars.

You did read somewhere that in the wild, geo slimes uses soil to patch up their wounds, rolling in a big pile of dirt to cover up scars.

"She must've been unable to do that because she just gave birth to these adowable triplets." You pat the heads of the three geo babies snuggly wrapped with your blanket.

You and the big geo slime are on the floor. "Don't worry, ma'am. We'll heal those wounds in no time." You bring out the bucket of dirt that Xiao managed to give you.

"Shouldn't you do this outside, where it's not gonna be a pain to clean up?" The Yaksha peeps in, receiving a pout from you.

"No, Love. It's too cold outside, their momma could get sick." You're not even sure if that can happen, but better safe than sorry. The guilt will rip you in half if you manage to make the poor slime feel worse.

As you take a handful of dirt in your hand, smearing it in the places where there are wounds and scars, Xiao's eyes follow your movements.

It's so similar, kind of like when you treat his own wounds when he gets into one of those tough fights with demons.

You even comfort the slime the same way, with a soft whisper that everything is going to be alright, that you're trying to make it feel better.

There was a feeling in his chest, a feeling that made him feel so pathetic. Why is he suddenly so envious of that slime?

Maybe it was because, your hands was on something else living that wasn't him? But it's a freaking slime, an injured, mother of three slime at that.

"See, we didn't make that much of a mess." Xiao's attention went back on you as your proud voice rings in his ears.

"And their momma looks so much better!" You scooped the little bit of dirt that fell off onto your hands and back in the bucket.

You smiled seeing the little content expression on the big geo slime. You realized, you can't just keep calling her the "momma geo slime".

"You need a name, huh? How about... Mocha?" You looked back at Xiao and giggled, a sound so beautiful in his ears. "What do you think, Xiao?"

"If that's what you want." He walked closer before sitting beside you. "Mocha, it is."

You said you were gonna let Mocha and the triplets live in the wild again after she and her babies are fully healed.

They've been in the Inn for a month now, sometimes you'd take them on your adventures with the intention of finally letting them go... but you just can't!

You always came back with them in your arms. They've become irreplaceable parts of your heart!

As Xiao was about to ambush a camp of corrupted monsters that's getting close to Wangshu Inn...

"CHARGE!" The tip of your sword was pointed at the direction of the monster camp, Mocha, Champ, Cookie and Sugar bouncing their way to the monsters.

With a sharp inhale, Mocha spat out a gigantic rock at the enemies, instantly crushing two of the monsters.

You ran up to the camp as well, taking on three of them at once, your sharp blade doing quick work of the monsters.

Meanwhile, the triplets had smacked the last three monsters so hard that they think they probably flew into another dimension.

"Hahahah, good job, team!" You exclaimed as you knelt down to the slimes' level, rubbing all of their heads just like they like it.

Xiao felt his eyes narrow, you used to compliment him and give him a little kiss when he would come back to the Inn after fighting off some threatening enemies.

"how do you feel about me being... older?" you looked at him with raised eyebrows and 'the only thing that matters to me is you. i fell in love with your personality and the way you treat me, not your age.' he hummed, a deep sound that you know reverberated on his chest. even if it was faint, you could see a soft pink dusting his cheeks.

smoker didn't think about your age gap until he overheard some of the new recruits talking about you two. captain smoker having a younger partner is a little weird isn't it, was what they said. when he was back home and you were resting against his chest, softly playing with the hair on the area, he told you about it. you looked up, your eyes shining, 'old pan makes good food'. the laughter that left his lips was one that he always reserved for you, his most sincere and genuine laugh; he pressed his lips on the top of your head, murmuring praises and love confessions against your hair.

shanks really didn't care about it, not as much as other members of his crew did – with how well they knew their captain, the man would be destroyed if you decided to leave him. 'she might go for a younger guy, when your thing doesn't get up anymore.' they usually voiced their concerns in the form of jokes, so they wouldn't be too harsh on their captain, but it was effective. those comments made him start to realize what you two were – lovers. one day, without telling you, he and the crew left. simply left the island, leaving you behind with only an note written "don't look for me." in a messy manner.

one thing about doflamingo is that he gets whatever he wants whenever he wants. and since the moment he laid eyes on you, you were his. the people that tried to comment on your age gap always "mysteriously" disappeared, even if they were from inside his organization. no one could talk about him and his partner like that. if he ever brought up the topic, it was only to test if you were seeing anyone or wanted someone younger (he knows you don't. he knows everything); your praises towards him and your love always left him pleased – he would give you the same in return.

corazon is frequently insecure about your relationship. he wonders if you really love him, if he's good enough for you, if he's being a good boyfriend, if he missed any important date that he should've remembered – your age gap (made worse by your height gap too) is only another one of those concerns. no matter what you say, he often asks you if you wouldn't want to be with someone younger and with a better family than him. one day, after he asked that for the millionth time, you answered: "we can have a family of our own, rosi. you deserve happiness. you said once i made you happy, so i will stay. the only way you're going to get rid of me is if one of us is gone." he chuckled and smiled widely, as he often did around you and law, hugging you tightly against his body.
