Something something Aether finding dewdrop after his elemental change and holding the smaller ghoul in his arms while he weeps, soothing him by petting dew’s newly long hair, whispering to the fire ghoul that everything was going to be okay and that it’ll only hurt for a little bit. Then after Dew’s calmed Aether runs him a nice warm bath, full of citrus, cinnamon, and ginger soaps to get him used to being a fire ghoul.

I was in the car today explaining mayhem lore to my dad and the entire time he was just sat there with this like stunned, afraid look on his face and everytime I would say something he’d gasp and go “oh god” in the way that dads do and I thought it was kind of funny.
