“So one thing I’ve been loving about this tour that’s so so so much fun for me is, and I actually got this idea from you guys, because you kept saying on Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr ‘We want to hear old songs we haven’t heard in a while!’ So I was like, ‘OK! That’s a good idea! So we’ll do that.’ So this tour I’ve been playing songs I haven’t played in 5 years, 10 years, 3 years, 4 years, whatever, 13 years! And so tonight I want to play one that’s um, really pretty old, on my first album and you know, one thing that I have noticed in my life is that you can never judge somebody else is going through. Even if they seem like they have it all together, they seem like, ‘how good they ever have any problems?’ Like you’re looking at somebody who is really beautiful, which seems like they have it all together, maybe they have a life that you’re really envious of. But I’ve learned that, you know, appearances aren’t everything, and just because someone looks happy doesn’t mean they are, or just because somebody looks confident doesn’t mean they are. And there’s so much pressure on everyone these days to have it all together to have a perfect body, a perfect life, to know exactly where they want to go with their life. And I think the stress and the pressure of not being able to say that they’re hurting has really taken a toll on a lot of people. So I’m asking you to just try and be kind to yourself, just know that there are so many people who are going to need exact same thing might be going through, whatever it is. This is called Tied Together With A Smile.”

We’ve literally known each other since birth and have been in love you and your music since as long as I can remember!

We’ve had the most INCREDIBLE times at your shows and have made it a tradition of ours to go to every tour!

~At Speak Now you came through the crowd right where I was and I got to meet your dad!( I still have the guitar picks he gave me)

~At RED we got to the stadium at 9am, waited outside the tour bus entrance, and got to meet amos, paul and your mom who during the show upgraded us to front row!!!

~At 1989 we did the same thing, got to the stadium super early, and got to meet your opening act vance joy!

One of our traditions since your Fearless tour in 2010 is to go see your shows and I’m so so so excited that in 1 month, SEPTEMBER 8th in Kansas City, we get to see you again!!! 💕💕💕

I just want to do a bit of a shout out to Andrea Swift for all she does for us! It must be extremely difficult trying to pick out fans to meet Taylor at every show when there are literally thousands of fans there and she knows she can only pick a few to have all their dreams come true! She has so many people come up to her throughout the shows and she is always incredibly kind to every single person! Thank you for everything Andrea!
