Winter Steps

Winter Steps

The snow fell softly, blanketing the trees and ground in a shimmering layer of white. Toto’s hand was warm in yours, even through your gloves, as you both walked through the narrow trail. Each step crunched lightly against the snow, the sound muffled by the serene silence of the forest.

—You’re sure this is the right way? —you asked, raising an eyebrow as you glanced at him. His long strides forced you to take two steps for every one of his, but he kept his pace slow to match yours.

—Of course —he replied, glancing down at you with a smirk. —You doubt my navigation skills?

—I don’t doubt your navigation skills —you teased. —I doubt your sense of direction when you’re trying to impress me.

He laughed, the sound echoing through the quiet forest. —I think you’ll forgive me when you see what’s ahead.

The trail opened into a clearing, revealing a frozen lake surrounded by towering evergreens. The surface of the lake glistened in the fading light, and the entire scene looked like something pulled from a snow globe. A small wooden bench sat near the edge of the lake, dusted lightly with snow.

You stopped in your tracks, your breath catching at the sight. —Toto, this is beautiful.

—I thought you’d like it. —he said, his deep voice soft. He brushed the snow off the bench with his gloved hand and motioned for you to sit. —Come, it’s even better up close.

You sat down, the cold wood biting through your coat, but you didn’t care. The view was breathtaking. Toto sat beside you, his presence solid and comforting as he slipped an arm around your shoulders.

—How do you even find places like this? —you asked, leaning into him.

He tilted his head back, looking at the trees with a thoughtful expression. —During my runs. I discovered it last year and thought it would be a nice place to bring you.

—You found this on a run? —you laughed. —That doesn’t surprise me.

—Nothing gets past you. —he teased, leaning down to press a kiss to your temple.

You stayed there for a while, watching the light change as the sun began to set. The sky shifted from pale blue to soft pinks and oranges, the colors reflecting off the icy surface of the lake.

—Do you ever stop? —you asked suddenly, breaking the silence.

—Stop what?

—Being so thoughtful. —you said, turning to look at him. —It’s like you have this endless ability to surprise me.

He smiled, his dark eyes warm as he studied your face. —You deserve it. And more.

Before you could respond, he reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a small, velvet box. Your eyes widened as he held it out to you.

—Toto…

—Open it. —he said, his voice unusually soft.

With trembling fingers, you opened the box to reveal a delicate silver necklace with a snowflake pendant. Tiny diamonds sparkled in the dim light, each facet catching the glow of the sunset.

—It’s beautiful —you whispered, tears pricking your eyes.

—I thought it suited you. —he said, taking the necklace from the box. —Strong, unique, and breathtaking. Just like you.

You turned around, brushing your hair aside as he fastened the necklace around your neck. His hands were steady, but his touch was impossibly gentle.

When you faced him again, his expression was unreadable, a mix of tenderness and something deeper. —Perfect. —he murmured.

—You mean the necklace? —you asked with a smirk, trying to lighten the moment.

—No. —he said, his tone serious. —You.

Your breath hitched, and for a moment, the world seemed to stand still. Then he leaned forward, his forehead resting gently against yours.

—You’re everything to me. —he said softly.

The intensity of his words left you speechless, and you could only nod, your hands gripping his coat. —Toto…

He pulled back slightly, his lips brushing against yours in a kiss that was slow and deliberate, filled with the depth of his feelings. When he finally pulled away, he rested his forehead against yours again, a small smile playing on his lips.

The moment felt infinite, the two of you wrapped in the stillness of the snow-covered world.

—Come on. —he said eventually, standing and offering you his hand. —I want to show you something else.

You took his hand, and he led you along the edge of the lake to a small clearing where the trees formed a natural arch. In the center was a lantern, its golden light flickering warmly against the snow.

—What’s this? —you asked, your eyes widening.

—Just another surprise. —he said, stepping behind you and wrapping his arms around your waist.

The two of you stood there, bathed in the soft glow of the lantern, as the snow continued to fall. It felt like the world had shrunk to just the two of you, and in that moment, you knew you’d never forget this day.

Kings Obsession

Hi Mar, Idk If U Write AUs But If U Do, Would U Write One With Mafia!max Verstappen Where He Is Like

The room was silent, the kind of silence that weighed heavy and suffocating, broken only by the faint ticking of the ornate clock on the wall. A man sat tied to a chair in the center, his face bloodied and bruised, his breath coming in ragged gasps. Around him, Max’s men stood like statues, their gazes locked on the dark figure leaning casually against the desk.

Max Verstappen.

The man’s name alone had sent shivers down the spines of countless rivals. Now, in person, he was even more terrifying. His sharp blue eyes bore into the captive, a cold smirk playing on his lips. In his tailored black suit, he exuded an air of effortless power, his very presence commanding respect and fear in equal measure.

—You thought you could steal from me. —Max said, his voice smooth but laced with steel. —And then what? Disappear into thin air?

The man whimpered, struggling to speak through the blood pooling in his mouth. —I… I didn’t mean…

Max raised a hand, silencing him instantly. —No. — he interrupted, his tone icy. —You didn’t think. That’s the problem. You took something that belongs to me, and now you think begging will save you?

The room tensed as Max pushed off the desk, his steps slow and deliberate as he circled the man. —Do you know what happens to people who cross me? —He paused behind the captive, his voice dropping to a whisper that sent chills down everyone’s spines. —They disappear. No one remembers them. No one cares.

The man’s muffled sobs filled the room. Max’s smirk widened. He didn’t need to raise his voice to assert his dominance; his presence alone was enough.

But then, his phone buzzed in his pocket.

Everyone watched as Max pulled it out, his expression unreadable. The moment he glanced at the screen, his entire demeanor shifted. The coldness in his eyes softened, his lips curving into a small, almost tender smile.

—Clean this up. —he ordered his men, tossing the phone onto the desk as he walked toward the door. —And make sure he understands my generosity is not infinite.

Without sparing another glance at the trembling man, Max strode out, his mind already consumed by thoughts of you.

The moment Max stepped through the door of your shared penthouse, the weight of his world seemed to lift. The chaos and violence of his empire faded, replaced by the warmth and light you brought into his life.

You were curled up on the couch, wearing one of his oversized sweaters, a book in your hands. The soft glow of the lamp illuminated your features, and Max felt his chest tighten at the sight of you. You were his everything, the one person who made him feel human in a world that demanded he be a monster.

—You’re home. —you said, looking up with a smile that could melt glaciers.

Max crossed the room in a few long strides, dropping to his knees in front of you. He cupped your face gently, as if you were the most fragile thing in his world, and pressed his forehead to yours.

—I missed you. —he murmured, his voice a stark contrast to the cold authority he wielded just an hour ago.

You placed your hands over his, your thumbs brushing over the faint scars on his knuckles. —Tough day?

His eyes closed briefly, the weight of his decisions momentarily forgotten in your presence. —It doesn’t matter now. —he said softly, opening his eyes to meet yours. —You’re all I care about. kg

You smiled, leaning in to kiss him. It was slow and sweet, a reminder that no matter how dark his world was, there was always light waiting for him here.

But as much as you loved him, you couldn’t ignore the growing fear in your heart. Max’s world was dangerous, and no matter how much he tried to shield you from it, you knew it was only a matter of time before it came for you.

—I worry about you. —you admitted quietly, your fingers brushing through his hair.

Max’s jaw tightened. —You don’t need to. —he said firmly, his hands sliding down to grip your waist. —I’ll protect you. Always.

You wanted to believe him, to trust that his power could keep you safe. But deep down, you knew love wasn’t always enough to fend off the darkness.

And Max, for all his promises, was willing to risk everything to keep you by his side, even if it meant sacrificing himself in the process.

Omg I Loved Your Left Behind Ficcc😍. Could You Maybe Do A Part Two Where Like She Confronts Her Brothers

—It’s not as easy as you think.

The tension in the dining room was thick, and every word from Arthur seemed to cut deeper than the last. You couldn’t believe you were sitting here, staring at them, the people who were supposed to care for you the most, yet all you felt was betrayal.

—Do you think I don’t understand? —Your voice trembled with raw emotion. —I’ve been nothing but supportive, Charles. But you… you went to Mexico with Arthur without even telling me! ¡And with Carlos too! —You could feel the anger rising, thick and uncontrollable.

Arthur crossed his arms, a look of irritation on his face. —You’re being dramatic. —he muttered. —It wasn’t that big of a deal.

Charles, who had been silent up until that point, finally spoke, but his words hit you like a slap. —We were busy. It wasn’t intentional.

—It wasn’t intentional?! —you echoed, incredulous. —How do you not tell your sister that you’re leaving the country? How is that not intentional?

The hurt was suffocating. You looked at them, trying to hold back tears, but they were already welling up in your eyes. Your brothers just didn’t get it. They never did.

You turned to your mother, who had been quiet the entire time, her eyes fixed on her plate, as if she were trying to avoid the storm brewing around her. —And you? You’re just going to sit there? You’re not even going to say anything? —Your voice cracked as you let out the question, your gaze pleading.

—I don’t want to get involved. —your mother replied, her tone flat, emotionless. —This is between you three.

The silence that followed felt suffocating. No one was on your side. No one even cared enough to understand.

You could feel the tears threatening to spill, but you refused to let them show. —Fine. —you said, the words dripping with a coldness you didn’t feel. —I get it. You don’t care.

You stood up, your chair scraping harshly against the floor, the sound jarring in the quiet room. You didn’t wait for anyone to speak. You couldn’t. Not when everything you’d ever wanted. Recognition, care, love. Was so effortlessly ignored.

Without another word, you walked out of the room, the cold air hitting your face as you stepped into the garden, your chest tight with emotion.

The sound of footsteps behind you broke the silence, and you didn’t need to turn around to know it was Carlos. You knew he had been watching, and you knew this moment had been coming. But you weren’t ready for what came next.

—¿Amor? —Carlos’s voice was gentle, but you could hear the concern beneath it. —I saw you leave. Are you okay?

You shook your head, not trusting yourself to speak, but the words bubbled out anyway. —I’m not okay, Carlos. —you whispered, your voice small, fragile. —I can’t believe you went to Mexico with them and didn’t even tell me. I thought… —The hurt in your voice made it impossible to continue.

Carlos stepped closer, his hand hesitating in the air before resting on your shoulder. —I never meant to hurt you. —he said softly, his voice low, almost apologetic. —It was just… a last-minute thing. You know how it is with Charles and Arthur.

—That’s not the point! —You pulled away from him, anger flaring again. —The point is, you left without saying anything. You chose them over me. Again.

Carlos looked at you, his expression full of guilt, but there was something else behind his eyes. Something that made you feel even more alone. —I didn’t mean to make you feel this way. You have to know that.

But you didn’t feel reassured. Not anymore. The hurt was too deep, the sense of betrayal too overwhelming. —No, Carlos. I through you cared about me. I through i mattered to you. — you swallowed hard, trying to keep your voice steady. —But you don’t. You never did.

His face faltered at your words, and for a moment, he just stood there, as if unsure of what to do. But you didn’t give him the chance to fix things. You had already made up your mind.

—You should go. —you said, your voice distant. —I need some space.

Carlos hesitated, his gaze lingering on you for a moment longer. —I’m sorry. —he murmured before turning away, the sound of his footsteps fading into the night.

You stayed in the garden, the cold air numbing your skin, but it did nothing to numb the ache inside you. You had hoped, at least for a moment, that Carlos would choose you. But in the end, like everyone else, he had walked away.

You’re Enough

back to my masterlist:

pairing: percy jackson x neutral!reader

summary: you weren’t yourself today. The confidence you usually carried felt out of reach, replaced by an unfamiliar insecurity. Percy noticed immediately and in the way only he can, he made sure you knew just how much you were worth.

warnings: use of y/n, insecurities.

You’re Enough
You’re Enough

The sun was shining brightly over Camp Half-Blood, but for once, you didn’t feel like soaking in its warmth. Normally, you’d be right in the middle of training, cracking jokes with the others or showing off during Capture the Flag. Today, however, you felt out of place, like you didn’t quite belong.

You sat on the edge of the canoe lake, your knees pulled to your chest as you stared at the rippling water. The faint sounds of campers laughing in the distance only made you feel more out of sorts.

—Hey.

The familiar voice made you look up, and there he was—Percy Jackson, the boy with the ocean in his eyes and the kindest smile you’d ever seen. He was holding a pair of wooden paddles and looking at you with a mixture of curiosity and concern.

—Hey. —you replied softly, quickly looking away.

Percy frowned slightly, setting the paddles down and sitting beside you. He didn’t say anything at first, just leaned back on his hands and let the silence settle. That was one of the things you loved about him—he never pushed.

—You’ve been quiet today. —he said eventually, his tone light but probing. —That’s… not like you.

You shrugged, keeping your gaze on the lake. —Just thinking, I guess.

Percy tilted his head, studying you carefully. —Thinking about what?

You hesitated, the words caught in your throat. Finally, you sighed. —I don’t know. Just… if I’m good enough. You know, for all of this. For camp, for the quests, for…

—For what? —Percy interrupted gently, his eyes narrowing slightly.

—For someone like you. —you admitted in a barely audible whisper.

The silence that followed felt deafening. You risked a glance at Percy, only to find him staring at you with an expression you couldn’t quite place—shock, disbelief, and something softer, almost tender.

—Y/N. —he said, his voice steady but full of emotion. —You’re kidding, right? You’re not seriously doubting yourself.

You bit your lip, shrugging again. —It just… happens sometimes.

Percy shifted closer, his knee brushing against yours. —You’re one of the strongest people I know. And I’m not just talking about physical stuff. You’ve been through so much, and you’re still here, still fighting. That’s not something everyone can say.

Your heart clenched at his words, but you shook your head. —That doesn’t mean I’m..

—Stop. —he interrupted again, his voice firmer this time. He reached out, gently taking your hand in his. —You’re amazing. And I don’t mean in a ‘you’re a good fighter’ kind of way. I mean… you’re funny, you’re kind, you make everything feel less scary. You’re you, and that’s more than enough.

Tears pricked at the corners of your eyes, and you quickly looked away, embarrassed. Percy, however, wasn’t having it. He cupped your cheek, turning your face back toward him.

—You’re enough, Y/N. For camp, for quests, and definitely for me. —he said softly, his thumb brushing against your skin. —Don’t ever think otherwise, okay?

You managed a small, shaky smile. —Okay.

Percy grinned, his hand dropping back to your lap. —Good. Now, how about we take one of those canoes out and remind everyone who’s boss at this lake?

A laugh bubbled out of you, and just like that, the weight on your chest started to lift. Percy always had a way of making you feel like you could conquer the world—even on your worst days.

Left Behind

back to my masterlist

part 2

pairing: carlos sainz x leclerc!reader

summary: left out of a family vacation, you confront Carlos about the secrecy and the growing distance with your brothers. Tensions rise, but Carlos’ heartfelt apology offers a chance for reconciliation and understanding.

warnings: angst, themes of exclusion and insecurity, emotional confrontation.

So Like Queen Idk If U Have Instagram But Like Recently The Leclercs Went To Mexico So Can We Maybe Get

So Like Queen Idk If U Have Instagram But Like Recently The Leclercs Went To Mexico So Can We Maybe Get

The early morning sunlight crept through the curtains of your shared apartment in Mónaco, but the warmth on your face did little to ease the growing heaviness in your chest. You scrolled through Instagram absentmindedly, your feed filled with glimpses of familiar faces. Your brother, Charles and Arthur. Both smiling and laughing under the mexican sun.

Charles had posted a picture of himself sipping on a cocktail by the pool, Arthur had shared a video of their group riding ATVs through the desert, and then there was Carlos—your boyfriend of two years—posing in the same photos, his trademark smile shining brighter than the sun.

And yet, no one had told you about the trip.

Not a single word.

Your throat tightened as you swiped through the posts. You hadn’t even known they were leaving Monaco, let alone heading off to Mexico. What hurt most wasn’t the secrecy — it was the reminder that, despite your efforts, you were still an outsider in your own family.

You’d always known that Charles and Arthur shared a bond you could never quite penetrate. They were close, the kind of brothers who had their own language, their own inside jokes. As their sister, you loved them deeply, but there had always been a sense of distance, a silent barrier that set you apart.

And Carlos… he had fit into their world so seamlessly. You’d seen it from the beginning, the way he joked with Charles like they’d been friends forever, the way Arthur looked up to him. Sometimes it felt like Carlos belonged with them more than he belonged with you.

You sighed, setting your phone aside and staring blankly at the ceiling. The questions swirled in your mind, each one cutting deeper than the last.

Why didn’t they tell me? Did they think I wouldn’t care? Or… did they just not want me there?

The sound of the front door opening pulled you from your thoughts. Carlos walked in, a small carry-on bag in hand. His face lit up when he saw you, but his smile faltered when he noticed the expression on your face.

—Mi amor. —he greeted, stepping closer. —What’s wrong?

You crossed your arms, leaning against the kitchen counter. —You tell me, Carlos. How was Mexico?

His eyes widened slightly, caught off guard by your tone. —Mexico? How did you—

—Instagram. —you interrupted, holding up your phone. —Charles and Arthur have been posting non-stop. Seems like everyone had a great time. Everyone but me.

Carlos sighed, running a hand through his hair. —I can explain—

—Can you? —you snapped, your voice trembling.

—It wasn’t like that. —Carlos began, his tone pleading. —It was a last-minute thing. Charles invited me—

—And you didn’t think to invite me?

Carlos hesitated, guilt flashing in his eyes. —It wasn’t my place to invite you. It was your family’s trip, not mine.

The words stung, each one hitting like a blow to the chest. —My family —you repeated bitterly. —Right. The family that always makes me feel like I don’t belong.

Carlos stepped closer, his expression softening. —That’s not true—”

—Isn’t it? —you challenged, tears brimming in your eyes. —They didn’t want me there, Carlos. And you went along with it. Do you have any idea how that feels?

He reached for you, but you took a step back. —I thought you were on my side. I thought… I thought I could count on you.

—Mi amor… —Carlos said softly, his voice heavy with regret. —I never wanted to hurt you. If I had known this would upset you—

—You should have known —you cut him off. —You should have thought about how I’d feel. But you didn’t.

The tension in the air was suffocating, the silence between you deafening. Finally, Carlos broke it.

—You’re right —he admitted in a whisper.

His apology caught you off guard, the sincerity in his voice cutting through your anger. You looked at him, searching for any hint of dishonesty, but all you saw was regret.

—I love you —he continued, stepping cautiously closer. —And I never want you to feel like you’re not enough. Not with me, not with anyone.

Your resolve faltered, but his words didn’t fill the emptiness in your chest. You took a small step back, letting the distance between you speak for itself.

—I don’t know if it’s that simple, Carlos —you whispered, avoiding his gaze. —I can’t keep feeling like an outsider.

Carlos froze, his expression pained. He opened his mouth as if to say something, then stopped. He took a breath, and his shoulders slumped slightly.

—I’ll do whatever it takes. —he said quietly. —But only if you let me.

You didn’t respond, your thoughts a tangled mess of emotions. The love you felt for him was still there, but so was the hurt, the lingering doubt.

Carlos nodded, his jaw tight, his eyes filled with understanding—and fear. —Take all the time you need.

He didn’t try to close the distance again, and you didn’t move to close it either. Instead, you stood there, two people caught in the uncertainty of what came next.

The only sound in the room was the faint hum of the city outside, a reminder that the world kept turning even as yours felt stuck in limbo.

Red Passion

main masterlist

pairing: ferrari!fernando alonso x gf!reader

summary: during his Ferrari years, Fernando Alonso finds solace and unwavering support in his girlfriend, who stands by him through victories and defeats. Amid the roaring engines and relentless competition, she reminds him of the love and warmth waiting for him beyond the track.

a/n: i know this is a little bit short but i hope that u guys like it, and Im so sorry for being so inactive here!!

Red Passion
Red Passion

The world blurred past him in shades of red and gold as the Italian sun dipped below the horizon. The Ferrari garage buzzed with post-race energy mechanics packing up, engineers analyzing data, reporters hunting for quotes. But for Fernando Alonso, none of that mattered the moment he saw her.

She stood near the back of the garage, just far enough to stay out of the chaos but close enough that he could find her instantly. Her eyes, warm and familiar, met his with a silent question: Are you okay?

He wasn’t. Not really. The race had been brutal. Second place, again. So close yet so far, the championship slipping between his fingers like sand. But as he walked towards her, her presence alone soothed the sharp edges of his disappointment.

The second he reached her, she wrapped her arms around him, her embrace firm and grounding. —You drove beautifully. —she murmured against his shoulder.

He sighed, pressing his forehead to hers, letting himself melt into her for just a moment. —Not enough.

Her fingers traced small circles on his back. —You always say that. And yet, everyone here knows you’re the best driver on the grid.

He huffed a small laugh, tilting his head to look at her. —Everyone?

—Well, maybe not Seb. —she teased, making him chuckle despite himself. —But even he knows it deep down.”

Fernando pulled her closer, her presence a welcome contrast to the ruthless world of Formula 1. Here, there were no engineers calculating lap times, no media spinning narratives just the woman who had loved him through it all.

—You always know what to say. —he admitted, brushing a strand of hair from her face. —How do you do that?

She smiled, her fingers tracing the outline of the prancing horse on his racing suit. —Because I know you. And I know that no matter what the results say, you give everything every time you’re in that car.

He sighed again, softer this time. His body ached, exhaustion creeping in now that the adrenaline had worn off, but she was here, steady and unwavering. That was enough.

—Come on. —she said, taking his hand. —Let’s get out of here. You need food. And sleep.

His lips quirked up. —Are you going to take care of me?

—Always. —she promised.

And as they stepped out of the paddock, away from the noise, the flashing cameras, and the weight of expectations, Fernando knew that no matter what happened on track, he had already won where it truly mattered.
