He's fine, clearly
[ID copied from ALT: A digital sketch of a scene from Intermezzo. Arthur and Kayne are crammed in a dark closet with Parker’s body. Arthur looks horrified as he realizes what he’s touching. John looks uncomfortable. Kayne is smiling wildly, with both his hands on Parker’s jaw, moving it as if to speak. End ID.]
Just excited that we got another scene with my favorite dead body
[ID: A traditional drawing of Arthur Lester from the chest up, portrayed in an animated gif followed by three stills of the gif frames. The drawing depicts Arthur as a midsized white man with disheveled dark hair that hangs over his face. He has a straight nose, eyebags, some stubble, and wears a brown button-up shirt, also disheveled. His face is pointed right at the viewer, his jaw slack in shock, as his eyes go entirely black. John is portrayed as a huge set of yellow teeth that circle Arthur entirely, as if about to devour him. Yellow drips from the maw of the teeth and from Arthur's shirt. Text frames the teeth, reading: "The King in Yellow". The gif fades from a bright version of the drawing to one bathed in shadows with only the outlines and text visible. End ID.]
yeah I'm still not over John speaking his (former) name for the first time, that changed the entire trajectory of my DNA. malevolent is SUCH a podcast <3
@horseboneologist gave me a list of prompts involving Hastur, on of which was “Hastur threatening John” and I like torturing my favorites. Poor John… 😘
Playing with a redesign to incorporate the pallid mask and a more fleshy look that I’ve been wanting to do for a while. Of course I see all of the eldritch creatures/entities as more fluid and not really locked into how they appear, so I’m having fun being inconsistent with how I draw Hastur and his fragments lol
it is. done.
beep boop john doe doodle
a man holding the hand that once belonged to him is something that can be so personal
[Image description: a digital painting of a pair of hands with fingers loosely intertwined. the hands are pale and dirt-stained, and the nails are chipped and dirty. the left hand is loosely wrapped in a thin stand of yellow cloth, and its pinky finger has been replaced by a tangle of sharp, thin branches, with dark veins extending into the hand. the background is smoky and dark, with a golden circle in the center of the canvas behind the hands. curved around the contour of the circle and the hands are the words, "everything I am, I learned from you" in gold text. we talked about john wearing lipstick and leaving a kissy mark on arthur's forehead - he probably got the idea from a movie watching the female lead leave a lipstick mark on the male lead (i think he would get many ideas about how humans act from movies 🤭)((i also think he enjoys embarrassing arthur above anything else))
[Start ID: Two sketches of John and Arthur from Malevolent. Arthur is a stout man with styled back, dark hair, only one spit curl in the middle, and a mustache. He's wearing a coat with large lapels, a simple collared shirt, and a short tie. John is a very tall human with dark, curled hair, and pronounced cheekbones. He wears a headscarf tied underneath his chin and has 1930's styled makeup with dark eyeshadow, pencil thin eyebrows, and bright red lipstick. He's also wearing a fur lined coat with fur at the lapels and fur at the sleeve ends, as well as gloves. His fingers are drawn sharp, even while wearing gloves. In the first sketch, John leans down and kisses Arthur gently on the forehead, cradling his face with one hand. He says, "Thank you, Arthur". Arthur lets himself be leaned into the kiss, closing one eye on the side that's towards John, the other open with slight surprise. He has a small blush on his face and a stray hair has gone up to show his surprise. In the second sketch, Arthur looks blankly forward with a large blush on his face, up to his ears, and a prominent red lipstick mark on his forehead. Beside him, John is represented by a simplified head and laughs "Pft-" with an amused, fanged smile and a small blush. End ID.]
guy that has seen one movie and is so annoying about it
