Looks Like GrammyGate 2.0 Is About To Happen Again (if She Wins)… Let The Games Begin?

Sometimes I wonder if Taylor has a “trick up her sleeve” and is secretly in the process of buying her masters from Shamrock. Or maybe buying out Sc**ter’s share (although idk how that deal is structured). I fully recognize that this is a crazy theory– pleaseeee don’t get your hopes up, everyone.

This entire Shamrock acquisition has always seemed weird to me. Taylor wanted to buy her masters. Taylor, at the very least, didn’t want Sc**ter to profit off her work. And if all else failed, Taylor was going to re-record her first six albums. None of these things were secrets– Taylor explicitly said as much. Shamrock would have known this beforehand. So why would they spend all that money, yet still let Sc**ter profit as part of the deal? If Taylor is going to do everything in her power to NOT let Sc**ter (and Shamrock) make money off her masters, why didn’t Shamrock just cut Sc**ter out? Then Taylor would have worked with them and they would have made more money. I have to think Shamrock had the upper hand here– Sc**ter needed money quickly. He needed to sell more than Shamrock needed to buy.

Something else about Shamrock: Abigail Disney is the Vice Chair, I believe. I would assume she’s involved in making decisions. Abigail Disney is interesting, because she’s super rich and a social activist. Like she thinks she and other billionaires need to be taxed more. She has a PhD, makes documentaries, is big on women’s rights, and even renounced her shares of profits from a company that has a factory in the West Bank (for ethical reasons). Abigail seems like the kind of person who would be on Taylor’s side and at the very least, not give Sc**ter a chance to profit off Taylor’s work.

So all of this was weird to me back in November, when we heard about it. Then I heard Ivy, and wondered if there was a connection.

“Clover blooms in the fields” – Shamrock literally means “young clover.“ 

"Spring breaks loose, the time is near / What would he do if he found us out?” – Maybe a deal between Taylor and Shamrock will be announced in the spring. Maybe the “he” is Sc**ter– maybe the reason nothing makes sense right now is because Taylor is trying to catch Sc**ter by surprise, so he can’t foil her plans again. More on this later.

“Crescent moon, coast is clear” – There’s a new moon on March 13th. Meaning there will be a waxing crescent moon from March 14th to March 20th. This coincides with the Ides of March (Spade riddle) and St. Patrick’s Day (shamrocks). Hmm.

“Spring breaks loose, but so does fear / He’s gonna burn this house to the ground” – Could the house be the Lover house? Where each room is an album? Is Taylor afraid that if Sc**ter finds out before her deal is finalized, he’ll ruin it?

Let’s think about the timing, for a minute. We know Taylor was in LA a lot last spring and summer. Shamrock’s office is in Burbank, an LA suburb. Spade left in July and Karlie got pregnant at some point in this timeframe. Idk if any of this is related, but that Spade riddle about the Ides of March haunts me. 9 months before March 15th is June 15th, which is right around the time Spade finished the THEY ARE FREE riddles. That’s also around the time we think Karlie got pregnant. Maybe this is all a coincidence, idk. 

Taylor posts about her masters on November 16th. Jerklie is also papped that day. On November 17th, Karlie confirms her pregnancy with a video. Evermore (and Ivy) come out a few weeks later. Again, just interesting how the timing aligned. 

November is ALSO when Kaylor’s PR gets weird. Taylor says Toe is WB in the LPSS, Karlie is pregnant and still stunting, Taylor is re-recording, we have no idea what’s going on.

To try to tie this all together… I wonder if Taylor is tricking us. Maybe there won’t be any re-recordings beyond Love Story, because she’s been working with Shamrock behind the scenes to oust Sc**ter. Maybe all the buzz she’s created about her re-recordings is to throw everyone off, including Sc**ter and all his people. Maybe this is why the All Knower account on Twitter is still up– because Taylor’s team is involved and feeding them the info they want to get out. Maybe this is why Taylor’s PR is weird– steer the conversation to “Toe is WB” etc. to give everyone something totally unrelated to her masters to talk about. Maybe this is why Karlie is still bearding– either to cover for Taylor or trick Sc**ter. Maybe the reason Taylor wouldn’t sign Sc**ter’s NDA is because she’s going to come for him the moment he’s not profiting off her masters.

Anyway, I know this is wild. I don’t expect this to happen, as much as I want it to. I only bring all this up because of the discussions tonight about whether the “masters case” is closed. I thought I was the only one who has been wondering if maybe it isn’t. Realistically though, I expect to be completely wrong.

Taylor has literally been like:

maybe reputation’s themes of love in secret and secret moments no one knows about and stolen stares and pining for someone gorgeous will convince them. no?

okay maybe lover’s crystal skies, rainbows eeeverywhere, gay pride parades, gaylor park, marrying your childhood friend, and stepping into daylight motifs would work. no? that didn’t do it?

fine. here’s an album about childhood love, about loving a girl with braids who has to hide in closets and a girl named betty who I just want to kiss in the garden in front of her stupid friends. how about now? do you get it yet?

A PR professional just explained to me why they believe Taylor Swift is queer

They're not particularly a fan or a hater. Because of their job, they state that they're probably more exposed to Taylor's PR flow and the details of it than the average GP person, but less than the fans that consume it and go seek it out.

Here's what they think, from a "cool, detached, professional slash transactional standpoint" (quote):

Taylor Swift™ (the brand, which means Taylor and team. Whoever establishes the communication strategies and help build it in concrete visual coding, statements and appearances, etc) is very good at PR. "people that like or dislike the brand agree on that. Hell, that's the main reason many point out for their dislike. So good it's annoying. So much polished *genuine* that it feels fake".

She's been loud in supporting her causes in the past years. Feminism, acceptance of differences, fighting xenophobia, and loudest of them all, especially lately, her support of the lgbt+ community.

"The difference in the way she's doing it is fundamental." She's been placing herself amongst the queer community as she celebrates it. Repeatedly.

"In PR, there is one thing you can't get away with anymore. It's the I've Got This *** Friend strategy." You can't make yourself look cool and supportive of BLM just by hanging out with a dark skinned person and get ally cred. You will get torn down by backlash. You have to back it up with actions, and you have to shut up about it, so that it doesn't look like you're being supportive of something to get credit for it, that you're doing something good because your interest is how it will be a good reflection on your brand.

"Queer baiting might be a strategy to try to pull audience members and try to save a show, but considering the backlash that ensues, I wouldn't recommend it these days."

So their conclusion is this: Taylor knows much much better than that.

Yet she's being super super loud.

She's putting herself in the middle of it. "She's literally painting herself in it and with it." (in it, the videos, with it, the rainbow dresses and the hair colors)

"She's too smart to make a mistake like making herself the straight ally of the decade. Not this way where she IS being accused of baiting. So I must conclude that... She isn't. She's not baiting. She's messaging. And the message seems pretty darn clear to me."

They would like to add this: "I'm straight. I'm what we're supposed to call middle aged. I don't particularly have an interest or investment on whether Taylor is or isn't queer, on whether she does or does not state it out loud. But working in a world where we spin stories, there are some that we don't like. The ones that cover up a closet rarely end well and always masquerade for someone's misery. Or some ones', plural. I can't deny how big an impact a coming out like hers would have if it's well handled. So. While I don't wish for her to go one way or another, I will be cheering loudly for her if she comes out. From a logical standpoint, I believe she's en route. From a more human one, hell yeah, my Spidey senses are tingling." (pause for giggles and discussion on whether Spidey senses should fall under strictly Human categorizing) "In any case, this little discussion dive into the Swift Tumblr PR Analysis Squad has been hilarious and inspiring. Let's go in bullet points like they did

Lavender Marriages, in which one or both partners are homosexual and are married to hide sexuality. Not a new thing at all and is confirmed to still be happening.

Scooter- Karlie signed a contract with Scooter in 2015, a whole year before Scooter bought Taylor's masters and their fued began. Knowing the type of person Scooter is, he would want to hurt Taylor. What would hurt her more than having to watch as her own fans ripped the woman she loves apart for "betraying" her? So why wouldn't he force Karlie to be seen with him or post with him when he fully could?

Joe- Joe Alwyn is an aspiring actor. Playing boyfriend to the biggest popstar in the world skyrockets his career and he doesn't even have to do much. He doesn't want Taylor's love, he wants her fans and in return she gets to be with Karlie without anyone else's input.

Miss Americana- The "Joe" montage lasts approximately 5 minutes, she doesn't say his name or even use male pronouns. It's not very hard to run into someone's arms. We also have no proof he filmed any of that besides maybe? The hand bit. But again, very easy to fake shit like that. Karlie also attended a Reputation show and she actually knew the words.

Joe Leaving His Life Behind- You're right, I don't believe Joe left his ordinary life behind to hide Kaylor. Because he didn't, he left that life behind to be famous. He was an aspiring actor not really getting the roles he wanted, and suddenly here comes a golden opportunity, a chance to be skyrocketed to fame.

Joe's Family- I cannot stress this enough, yes. Bearding is tricky and to sell the relationship, you unfortunately sometimes have to drag families into it.

Taylor's Fake Stories- Again very simple answer, yes. Just like all her other stories about old boyfriends, fake. You think Taylor can make a whole album of fictional stories but not this?

Taylor's Usage of "He" in Her Songs- Wow how could I possibly ever figure this one out, it's just so complicated. It's not like you can switch pronouns easily. Oh wait yes you can, and in some of her songs, it actually works better.

Taylor's Songwriting- No one is saying her songs through Debut to Lover are all fictitious. Some are definitely are satirical but other than those and the male pronouns, Taylor is probably the most honest through her music. But Taylor is amazing regardless of all this. No matter her sexuality we will support her.

Alrighty well, I had fun.

*Sigh*... Taylor literally writes a gorgeous love song as the closer for her Lover album called Daylight, which is synonymous with sunshine, which is what she called Karlie in her 22nd birthday post for her, and in the song happiness Taylor mentions that across the great divide with the person who hurt her, there is a glorious sunrise... You know what shines after the sun rises? *Daylight*... In all probability, happiness is about Scott B's betrayal and Taylor's complicated feelings towards him as a former father figure and how her feelings towards him and his influence over her affected the choices she's made about her romantic relationship with her Sunshine. Writers don't use extended metaphors in multiple seperate pieces of their body of work like Taylor's thing with blue and gold, windows, and daylight/the sun for no reason, FFS 🙄
