tigers. thoughts on yes&no by natalie wee as a fnc coded poem
WHYYYYY WOULD YOU SAY THAT TOOOO MEEEEEE
deadass tho i was like “:0 poem! Wait a damn minute I KNOW THIS POEM YOU FUCKER”
I think part of what fucks me up about it so bad is that initially I’m like “yeah this is chips pov” but then i fucking read it again and GOD does it hurt so much more as Gillion.
Bc the poem reads in the first bit almost as someone worshipping the other, right? With the “get on your knees” and “forgiving vs violence” and i think Chip would view Gillion as the holy one, hes the chosen one, hes the one that must be worshipped, the one with the power of the seas and the sky at his hand.
BUT. Gillion is the one who knows nothing but worship. Of course he’d want to worship Chip. And he wasnt raised to love, let alone love tenderly. Hes the soldier, the one good at violence, the war-machine. The last good thing that shattered in his hands? The shell phone. Before that? He doesnt even know. Because hes never held anything gently before. Chip has at least held the coin, or ollies hand, and he doesnt break those. But gillion? Gillion was made to break those things- emotional ties, the innocents of the oversea.
The poem is Chip on its surface, but in reality i see it as Gillion and i will deadass do a one by one line analysis of that poem and talk about how it could be either of them, if yall want that
Idk how this app works. Heres some cool and awesome albatrio drawings
ok, but EVERYONE who wears a mask in showfall is brainwashed, so you have the obvious ranboo and employees and stuff. Then you also have HETCH and THE PUZZLER. LITERALLY ALL OF THEM. Everyone who you see is under control.
what if the rest of the story of malevolent takes place over several years and arthur and john get through all the horrors and get their happy ending (whatever that looks like for them) and everything settles down and then arthur is immediately drafted into WWII
It just occured to me that Stan technically canonically liked to draw, so here's my take of what Stanley's sketchbook would have looked like had he never gave up on art :]
Stanley first found this sketchbook left behind in a dumpster next to a library. The rings that once held the pages together were broken and warped, so he instead fashioned himself a jury rigged binder by weaveing one of his shoelaces through the holes in the side. In the end, it was essentially just a stack of barely held together paper, but he was still satisfied with it.
Pencils were easy enough to snag from the store since they fit so easily inside his pockets; but he had to settle for the shitty stubby pink erasers that barely did its job on the end of the pencils if he made any mistakes.
Stanley wasn't much of a poetic guy, and he didn't do the kind of art that had deep symbolism or meaning behind them. He was more the kind of artist that just drew what was in front of him, plain and simple. Had he been younger, he might have been able to fill in this cobbled together sketchbook in a matter of days, page after page filled to the brim with creatures and adventures of the wildest dreams.
Well, Stanley wasn't exactly a sprightly young child anymore with a boundless imagination to take inspiration from, but 10 years was a long time to be on the road and moving around, so there was plenty for him to draw.
(My primary goal was just to make these pages look as realistic as possible, but I did add in mini backstories in each of the pages' image description, if you feel like reading that :])
ok but what if these wire things are how showfall keeps control over them without a mask...
put him in a rage room
I tbink arthur deserves some time and space to truly lose it. to scream and cry and throw things. rb if you agree
