I know that I donโ€™t ask a lot of questions on here but what are your plans for the Spring Equinox? Are you going to reflect on the past year and become something new? Or renew the things that worked in your favor? Tell me how you celebrate.

How I Germinate Difficult Seeds

So ever since I was little and started growing my own plants, I had an elementary school teacher who taught me this method that would pretty much guarantee that the seeds I planted would sprout. Since Iโ€™m trying to grow some more difficult plants and herbs this year just sticking them in the dirt wouldnโ€™t get them to sprout for me, so Iโ€™ve been using this method for even the easier plants to grow and it works great!

How I Germinate Difficult Seeds

First, cut out a little square of paper towel (bleached or unbleached works) and make sure it will fit into a small plastic snack bag (I reuse these!)

Wet the paper towel so itโ€™s slightly damp and arrange the seeds as far apart as you want them to be. Label as you see fit. Place the damp paper towel with the seeds in the plastic bag in a sunny spot.

Once the seeds sprout, very carefully place them in a seed pot with appropriate soil! And youโ€™re done! Thatโ€™s it! The roots will grow through the paper towel and the towel will break down over time :)

How I Germinate Difficult Seeds

I hope this method works for you if you have trouble getting plants to grow! Happy growing!ย โœจ๐ŸŒฑ
