So we all know this terrible, heartbreaking, beautiful spot right?

Well it looked familiar

Powder took Ekko to a place that was important to Vi. After she lost her, it became a place of remembrance for her sister.

Now for Ekko it's a place of remembrance for Powder that he met, for Jinx that he learned to love and for what could have been.

It's just beautiful how much memory this place holds and how special it is to all three of them.

“but you’re so young!” congrats. you just proved that your biases about what disabled looks like are preventing you from acknowledging the facts.

It's strange how, after a while of living with fibromyalgia, I have to regularly remind myself of what healthy actually feels like.

I have to remind myself that most people don't experience pain every day.

I have to remind myself that going to the park for an hour is not a big outing.

I have to remind myself that most people don't have to decide between cooking and showering.

I have to remind myself that most people can achieve more than one thing a day.

After 5 years, what I see as my baseline has distorted. It's so easy to slip back into old patterns, to try to do more than I have the capacity for, to get angry at myself, to push myself too hard.

So I have to remind myself to be gentle and patient, to pace myself, to set boundaries, and to ask for help.

i also think it speaks to some kind of entitlement others have to immediately, indirectly or directly, demand information from a disabled person as to why they can't do something. what specific needs or struggles or medical conditions do they have that stops them from doing an action? it's not enough that they set a clear boundary ("I can't do that"), people want to evaluate it. honestly it's kind of arrogant that they feel the need - like the inability to do something, literally a part of disablement, has to make sense to you, personally, before it's a legitimate excuse - oh i mean reason. sometimes people ask "why can't you do that thing?" but more often people hurl suggestion after suggestion at the disabled person, and force them through conversation to explain in minute detail why they can't follow your advice. it really feels like disabled people are being tested to see if they're actually disabled and not faking. if they don't explain why the most obvious advice that you, a stranger, thought up in a few moments is viable, then they're obviously not putting enough effort into trying to do the thing. i've literally seen this played out so many times with disabled bloggers here like beat for beat. i think some of you are ableist actually

i had this dream where you were different…

Halloween 🎃 is about to come. Every year the field scarecrow motionlessly waits for this day to gain dark power ✨ and leave this corn field 🌾 where he was imprisoned many, many years ago. And every year an unknown man comes to the field and looks at the scarecrow, as if he knows about its dark essence. And this year was no exception. He arrived, but for some reason a little earlier than Halloween 🎃.

After checking the field scarecrow 🎃, the unknown man headed to another mysterious place. Where, from under the roots, sometimes you can hear a heartbeat 💓.

Everything was quiet, calm, nothing foreshadowed trouble... 🎃
