Dear video essay creators. A video analysis is when you analyze a piece of media. No no look at me. A summary, no matter how thorough, is not an analysis. An analysis requires you to draw conclusions about the media such as authorial intent, real-world parallels, discussion about themes/worldbuilding/character motivation, and so much more. You have to stop summarizing something and saying thatโs analysis. The Gaylors are doing more critical analysis than you. Is that who you want to lose to? The gaylors?
everything eats and is eaten
Me reading another person's writing: Oh they missed a period there, no worries mistakes happen :) Three adjectives in a sentence? Adverbs for days? No worries I love descriptions and this story is fire.
Me seeing the same thing in my work: Wow am I illiterate? Am I actually ok? Who the actual fuck told me I can write so I can go and curse their entire family for the time it took for me to carefully craft this GARBAGE.

Any time I catch myself thinking it's weirdly specific that stories involving the beheading game were an entire genre of medieval literature, I remind myself that the TV Tropes page for media where the cast get shrunk really small and go inside someone's body in a tiny submarine is at the time of this posting nearly 300 entries long
i canโt wait for when chatGPT and ai image generation also crashes and each prompt cost $50 an attempt. oh you canโt get your stolen big tiddy anime ghibli art for free anymore? you want to buy real big boy art from real artists now? beg for it. beg for it like a dog.
A vampire has worked at the local 7-11 for the past 5 decades. No one has the heart to slay themโpartly because they're a good employee, but mostly because they think the vampire is doing a "great job" hiding their vampirism (they're really not).
A small harbinger of spring.
