I've had Eden as an OC for MONTHS now and I'm finally comfortable enough sharing her.

The blindfold she wears is from a religious practice her and the church she lived in used to practice. Basically "if you stand and witness sin its basically as bad as committing it yourself. So just. Don't ever look at anything sinful."

"Freed by the manifestation" meaning a lot of the people who lived with her in the church (which was. More like a cult than your average Sunday school.) Fell victim to the broadcast.
