if there's one thing this last episode has affirmed for me about Alastor it's that he FUCKING HATES being reminded that he's not the most powerful creature in hell.

Like, he hates being ignored by Carmilla when she says she doesn't care why he was gone

He hates Lucifer ON SIGHT

He threatens to KILL Husk when he dares to mention that Alastor is working for someone more powerful than him

and now this.

If There's One Thing This Last Episode Has Affirmed For Me About Alastor It's That He FUCKING HATES Being

Alastor freaking out because he almost died. Something almost killed him. He can fucking die. There is something more powerful than him out there. And it's not something he can ignore or brush off because it almost killed him.

Alastor hates the reminder that he's not as powerful as he tells people he is. He isn't indestructible, he isn't invincible. And he fucking hates that.

Dazai and Chuuya warmly dressed, they've just finished opening their fortunes from the temple.

Chuuya's paper slightly crumples in his grip, he loudly complains, "HAH? What's with the romantic relationship reading?"

Dazai scoots over to ask, "What did Chuuya get?"

Chuuya's crinkled face makes Dazai laugh. They sound like twinkling bells in Chuuya's ears. Stop laughing so cutely, Chuuya says in his mind, but it comes out of him as a blunt, "Shut up—"

"Chuuya's making such a funny face right now! You'll grow wrinkles faster if you keep doing that, old man~"

The scene cuts to them praying in the temple altar.

Dazai's prayer goes: "I hope he'll have another fun year, win more games and no injuries....... I hope he won't get tired of me..."

Chuuya's prayer goes: "I hope that we will be healthier and happier this year... and have less trips to the hospital..."

Back view of Dazai and Chuuya walking home from their temple visit. Dazai casually asks Chuuya, "So what did Chuuya pray for?"

"Not tellin' ya." comes the reply.

"Heh. Bet it's something about not growing wrinkles so soon yet~ teehee" Dazai chuckles as he fondly looks over to Chuuya.

Chuuya smiles fondly to himself as he remember what he's written in his wooden prayer plaque. He doesn't notice the smile Dazai is giving him. "'Course it's not. That's so dumb." He replies to Dazai.

i think a lot of people don’t realise that cas pulling dean out of hell in lazarus rising wasn’t cas pulling dean off the rack, it was cas pulling dean AWAY FROM the rack, away from the people he was torturing

the first time cas touched dean he saw the pain dean was inflicting on other people, saw the way he enjoyed it, and it didn’t change how pure dean was to him, it didn’t make him any less good
